Did not expect Santana say half of the things he said in this interview and you did excellent job of staying straight faced the entire time. I'm pretty sure I would have just sat there with an "Oh shit, did you just say that" face. Great job.

Such a gentle soul . So humble . So unusual for a Man revered by Guitarists all over the World . I am , and always have been a huge Fan of his Music and the Man himself . Pity a few of his Contemporaries and fellow Musicians weren't like him .Great Interview , Mary .

While there are many great guitarist, when I listen to Santana play its like his music talks and conveys emotions to me in a way that others don't seem to. Perhaps his type of music just lets me hear more easily.

Carlos isn't only a gifted technician but also knows the value of bringing a certain spirituality to guitar playing. That's why he's stayed up there.

Great! He's following his own creativity. Consequently. And that makes his music & sound magical ... At least for me

That's awesome that you got to meet Carlos Santana! I remember one of the first songs I learned to play by him, Europa. Which unfortunately I never learned all the way through. Quite a treat to hear him speak. Thanks again Mary.
