Yeah lol i always like to put in little cameos of other lego youtubers (or myself) the other 2 are comindo and edbound, in the wide shot of indy throwing the kebab all 3 of us are sitting above the gangsters. Ed is also the guy walking at the end when willie asks for a guide to dehli. And comindo is sitting on the bench in the car chase. So everyone appears in this video twice lol.
Short Round is not only the best character in the whole Indiana Jones franchise, he also has the best leitmotif out of all of John Williams pieces. Nice video!
excellent, shame Lego didn't release more sets based on temple of doom. IMAGINE, each set came with more of the mine cart, so, you'd collect each set. Club obi wan, plane, village, camp site, Pancot palace, the chambers, the temple, mine cart chase, the bridge scene. though, using so many sets from the past, fans can make all these scenes and have done wonders. The Amazon temple ruin set from the classic adventure series, is pretty much the temple of doom bridge scene
I have this vivid memory of when I was younger, I was sitting down on the floor eating Taco Bell (I think) as Temple of Doom. My dad was laughing at what I think was the poker scene. Later on that week, my dad and I were playing the Lego Indiana Jones game, and he was getting upset because I didn’t understand how the game was played.
Thanks thejumifilm! It's always awesome when someone as big as you compliments my work! Best part is that the mine car chase was actually super easy to make, just very time consuming. I think it was about 42 hours to do the whole sequence.
No problem! All the videos have that element of "finally someone has done it" i had waited for someone to come along to do the mine car chase properly, but sometimes you just gotta do it yourself. Stick around for last crusade, cause it will be coming sometime in the near future! Just started working on it today!
OMG!!! This was so incredible and accurate. Your recreation of the mine car chase scene was easily my favorite part. I also found it funny how you animated Willie Scott throughout this LEGO Indiana Jones stop motion.
@@CLEGOFILMS1 You’re very welcome! I wonder if you had to buy a lot of the Temple of Doom set just to get enough track for your mine car chase scene recreation.
I bought the set years ago, and no i only had one. It's just the same track re used with different direction here and there to make it look like it's more than it is.
Just watched Raiders Temple and your Batman projects and they are absolutely amazing You did a great job The animation was smooth! I love the talents and the love that went into this! I'm going to assume that you're going to be making your own rendition of Last Crusade I look forward to more work from you in the future :)
Thank you so much again, i love reading comments like these. I put a lot of work into this one, but you ain't see nothing yet, last crusade is gonna really step things up, it'll be my best project yet!
@@CLEGOFILMS1 You're welcome again lol! Well I am excited to see your last Crusade project and anything else you make! You don't be a really cool thing that you can make next after your last Crusade project you could do the James Bond movies preferably the Sean Connery ones 😉
Corey pine studios?!? Bro I'm so honored you thought it was that good and that you watch my content! Thank you so much! Last crusade is coming, i just started work on it today!
If DOD is good I'll do that one and KOTCS for completions sake. If i don't like DOD then i won't do KOTCS or DOD because i don't like KOTCS and there won't be any point in making movies in lego that i don't like. I know it's a bit sucky as some people out there might never get to see a movie in lego that they like all because i don't, but at the end of the day a lot of work goes into these videos and if the love for the movie isn't there the videos DOA
I animate with the movie clip side by side, and play it by ear, so when a certain sound happens or line of dialogue is uttered and the shots change i do it in my video. I also animate with the audio, meaning theres no freeze frames and all the animation is consistently moving, so not much editing is done. Then the exported video from stop motion studio is the edited scene and then i just put it in my project and put the audio over it (stop motion studio makes the audio low quality so i always dub over it) and repeat the process for the other scenes.
I like the piece you used for the sparks on the mine cart wheels; that was a great choice. The whole mine cart chase sequence was well done. Some constructive criticism for you: the movement when a character is talking can be improved. Right now, "talking" consists of predictable bobbing which doesn't match the spoken dialogue accurately. Try experimenting with different head and body movements and possibly tone down the amount that a character moves. The characters don't need to be constantly moving for the viewer to get that they are the one speaking. Since mouth animation is an involved and time-consuming process and lego figures innately have limited articulation, any variety you can add through dynamic movements is pleasing for the viewer and sells the effect better. Good luck on future animations!
Thank you for the praise, and the criticism. Don't worry there's more arm movements and head movements in the last crusade scenes I'm doing at the moment, it's a lot more expressive. Sometimes the bobbing is a style choice like when indy says "there's gonna be 2 dead people in here! Hurry!" The bobbing is in time with the words but sometimes it's not as in time with the words as i would like it to be and it looks off. I think the worst bobbing is in the final scene, but stuff like the card scene it was done as a deliberate style choice, i thought it made the scene jumpy and funny.
I love how the actor for Short Round and Indiana Jones both reunited during the Oscars 😊
Me too
0:33 I love how you were being chased

Yeah, many great opportunities lego has missed with all indiana jones line in general
Okie dokie dr jones

Woah dude the stop motion is so clean. Great job with the wagon scene also! Keep it up!
Thanks man, that scene took a long time and I'm glad everyone sees it as the stand out
I forgot how much I loved shortround 😂
Wow. Love the minecart part at 5:30, just so well animated :)

compared to other shuddy animation, this is genuinely enjoyable to watch, I could see the whole movie done like this, bravo
Thank you! If i had the time, patience and drive to make the whole movie like this, i would.
@@CLEGOFILMS1 that would be fun, but you've compiled the most important scenes, and most accurate to the film. Amazing work.

the scene with the wagons was perfect.
The mine car chase? Yeah it took forever to do. Thanks!
@@CLEGOFILMS1 yes, The mine car chase.

Fantastic job! One of my most favorite movies of all time!!
Thank you!

Perfection man, insanely well done and stupidly accurate scenes.
Can't wait for Crusade :)

Amazing work! , Just watched this movie today and this is super accurate
Thank you! I poured over every minute detail so I'm glad that in the end i was very accurate!
damn that conveyor belt scene is awesome!

Shanghai, 1935.

Not coming
Why
Cause the movie sucks and i don't wanna do it in lego. I'm moving on to other projects that would give me more joy
Ok also u will get a lot of veiws if you do Star Wars
Super! But you can do this better i see this ;).
