This is probably my favorite brickfilm, it's clearly a labor of love and a great tribute to the Indiana Jones series. It's actually got some really well written lines and a good old fashioned adventure style and feel.
Perfect in every way. I loved the car chase scene in the beginning! The way that you moved the scenery around to make the illusion of movement was just amazing!!
Very clever, I heard Uncharted music. This was awesome. One of the best Lego Indiana Jones videos, I mean it. I loved it man just as much as I love Indiana Jones. Keep it up
You are vastly underrated! You made Mutt Williams interesting and important, you have beautiful animation and sets, and you made an actual freaking feature-length LEGO film!
After dial of disappointment this is such a breath of fresh air. the stories a million times better than the dial of shit, I would rather watch this over and over again than the pile of depression.
For this film I used Windows Movie Maker to order to frames/shots. GIMP was used for VFX editing and Corel Videostudio was used for final film editing and sound mixing
This was incredible! Out of every brick film I’ve watched, this seemed like I was watching a full on movie on the big screen! Well done :D Plus, your channel needs more attention. It has a lot, and I mean A LOT, of potential.
A really brillant and exciting Indy adventure! I really wonder why modern Hollywood nowadays can't produce movies with this high quality of story telling. Action, music, voices and animations, all fits well. The only minor point I have are the backgrounds - base plates are okay, but pictures had been nicer. But in general, it's a great adventure brickfilm. Congratulations, fantastic work!
Thank you! Its funny you mentioned the backgrounds because I remember before filming started around June 2015, I shot a few green screen tests with Indy walking around. I think because of my camera’s auto focus/lighting limitations, the effect had this real graininess to it that almost made it look like flies were buzzing around. Baseplates were definitely a last minute option, but so long as they hid the table and lights, I was a happy camper. Whenever I produce a sequel to this, I’d love to get some proper backgrounds! Green screen/chroma keying has always been the standard, but projection screens would be great to get proper lighting on the sets and figures. And thanks again for the review! I can’t believe its been 7 years since I released this. I’m always happy to hear feedback c:
Assumption Notes: Assuming that this takes place between Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull and Dial Of Destiny, the soldiers could be either the Russians looking for revenge for what happened in KOTCS, members of the presumably disbanded Ahnenerbe (to continue Indy’s famous rivalry with the Germans), or sympathizers of either one of the two groups. Heck, for all I know, it could even be both sides joining forces to face a common enemy in Indy. Then, there’s Belloq, who somehow “survived” Raiders Of The Lost Ark. So, I assume the Belloq that “died” in ROTLA is a lookalike who works for him. And then, there’s Marcus, who I assume didn’t really pass away by the time of KOTCS, but rather, he just retired from the college, and the statue of himself in KOTCS was made as somewhat of a retirement gift. As for Indy and Mutt, I assume Mutt became the new “Junior” since Henry already passed away by the time of KOTCS. At least, this movie continues the tradition of the villains being destroyed by the very power they sought.
@@kidz4p509 I like this theory a lot c: When I wrote the script in 2014-2015, I treated it as a free play level in Lego games: Take any characters you’d like and toss them into any story. Indiana Jones and The Emperor’s Eye takes place in its own continuity but I love seeing these comments because it makes me wonder where it would fit in the series. Especially now since it was made way before Dial of Destiny and Mutt’s story in that film is just a little shorter than it is here
With the music I thought Spider-Man was bout to swing in 😂 all jokes aside you did a great job.I love Lego and Indian jones was my first Lego game and I love it still.

Gamerzone1500 would’ve never guessed something so awesome came from the worst of the 4 movies. I’m not saying the movie is bad I’m just saying that it’s not as good as the other three and nowhere NEAR as great as the temple of doom
Awesome! The best stop-motion ever! By the way, was the sound effect for the eye the same one on the LEGO Star Wars game for switching characters? I never would've thought it could be used that way. That surprised me the first time!
Wow this was awesome I loved the action, the animation production was smooth, engaged through out and you used soundtracks that still allowed your film to be monetised!!!!! Really loved this what's next in the pipeline? Any more Indiana Jones?

This should be an Indiana Jones movie
This was beautiful honestly

I'm guessing the generic Lego Star Wars death sound is the brickfilm equivalent to the Wilhelm scream
