C LEGO Films
Добавлен 6 авг 2019
Hi, I'm C LEGO Films! I make lego videos about various things with various genres. Thanks for checking out my channel! Hope you enjoy :)
Lost In Yesterday
This is a bit of something different (although this entire year has been me trying different things, so of course it is) i wanted to tell a story that was a little more deeper than surface level if you look into it and think about it more, but with no dialogue. I was debating on having voice over but decided the ambiguity and uncertainty of what this all really means was more interesting. This film is about someone who cannot let go of the past, and through some different visual components we see how this affects him and what the state of his mind is. The girl really could represent anything you can't let go of, not just a relationship. Anyway i promise the next video will be funny.

The Making Of 'Hotel 505'
Просмотров 24221 день назад
Finally, the making of for this project is here! I did promise one, and now it's here. This was 99% done before the results were announced, and then once they were i added on the last segment. I thought it would be fun to show the process of a video from concept to final export. I had said many times there would be a making of or behind the scenes video for many of the countless large projects ...
Hotel 505 (Musical World)

My entry to the BiM Musical World Contest is finally complete! It was a very long process to create this, and i tried to step up every element here. And keep it all in the dark, so i rarely posted about it at all to keep the mystique. I really like how it came out, shots and lighting in particular. Feels good to be back! Feel
Просмотров 4984 месяца назад
This was a just short project i felt i wanted to make, and something i needed to do. It was my way of putting into words and visuals how my life has felt for the past few months. I went for an experimental vibe here, using a lot of white expanse and black expanse, and due to the subject mature and nature of this film, it is a very personal project and a type of video i have been wanting to make...
The Briefcase Conundrum

Silly goofy cartoony man will chase a briefcase to the ends of the earth if it meant he could see what was in it. At last, I'm back on my feet! i didn't expect BRAWL to be the thing that kicks me into gear again but I'm more than happy that I've got my drive back! Had a lot of fun making this, and it's quite different from my usual style of comedy as well as one other big change... The frame ra...
Interpol - Untitled

Finally here it is! This was a very long and drawn out process making this project but it was definitely all worth it! I went for a very different vibe here, very experimental and surreal, really trying to do something cool and different here. The result is something i'm pretty happy with, hope you all enjoy it too! Music: Interpol - Untitled The main vibes of this video were inspired by a lot ...

It Might Be Time

Decided to make a little montage about the repetitiveness of life when and how it all seems to blend together when depressed. This one is quite different from my usual type of videos and focuses on telling a visual story. Music used: Tame Impala - It Might Be Time #lego #animation #stopmotion #musicvideo #tameimpala
The Squatters

Two men are squatting a house, and now they've got a dead body on their hands. They gotta get rid of it fast. This project was me really trying to step it up in every way possible. Lighting, set design, editing and soud and animation. I'll definitely be doing more projects like this in the future. Music used: Talking Heads - Psycho Killer #lego #animation #stopmotion #mystery

This was amazing bro. This reminds me a lot of interstellar and how he's in like the 5th deminsion or something at the end of the movie, trying to stop himself in the past from leaving murph. I especially love the scenes from 0:20 - 1:20. The vibrant colors going back and forth, the taped footage of his past going by with the music, man. I really loved the reverb in the music. Something about it. Great job man.
Thank you man! I'm really glad to hear you liked it that much. Funnily enough, I've never actually fully seen Interstellar, so i had no idea about the similarities haha.
I hope we will get a part 2 of the magic portal
the lighting, sound design, animation, and story where absolutely well done 👍
Thank you!
I think they should make more Lego animated films. I personally enjoyed ‘The Lego Movie’ very very much. I also think C Lego films should direct it 💋
cinema
The fact that we have an interview with this man even after so long has passed is just pure wonder. I'd really like to see the magic portal remastered, maybe soon
Me too, i really hope we do get to see this at some point.
LITERALLY CRYING MY EYES OUT. YOU ARE SO TALENTED MAN
THANK YOU SO MUCH BRI. YOU'RE ALWAYS SO SUPPORTIVE ❤️ goated performance in the 2 videos you've starred in 🔥🔥🔥
@ I’m literally your biggest fan
@ BC YOUR SO TALENTED
This is one of my top 10 silent brick films. Amazing stuff man! ❤
Thanks man! I'm honoured that you loved it that much!
Now this, my friend... is art. Fantastic lighting. Simply incredible. I see you becoming one of the greater active brickfilmers for sure! It's quite daring to chose such a surrealistic narrative and skillful to make it work as well as you did. Major congratulations! 😄
Thank you so much man! It was definitely one of the biggest things i thought about when making it because i wanted to keep it visually interesting all the way through.
Awesome work, man! I really like all the visuals on this one. And it’s really cool that you managed to convey a lot of emotion in a a plot that’s very open for interpretation. Great job!
Thank you man! Yeah i wanted to keep some of this open to interpretation, like it's all there but you decide what it really all means to you.
The animation, lighting, and cinematography are all amazing!👏
Thank you man!
Wow bro got me in the feels
Dude this was amazing!
Thank you!
Nice work
This is incredible dude! Each scene has so much meaning. Also the underwater scenes looked really good.
Thank you! I'm glad the meaning of the film came through for you.
this might be just as good, if not better than Green Goblin Claps cheeks
I think that one just slightly edges this one out. Nah but in all seriousness I've come a long way from brain rot memes haven't i
Deserves an oscar 👏
Thanks man!
This just made me cry
That means i succeeded in my job as a film maker! Glad you liked the film that much.
Damn, this brickfilm was like so good. I just love all the little effects like the glass breaking and the water but again with the drawn on faces too, it's just really cool! I love the style. I'm glad I took time to watch this, can't imagine how long this took to plan, make and edit!👏
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The drawn faces add so much to the film and i think i might use them permanently going forward. I think the project took about 2 months? So 7 weeks of shooting and one week dedicated to editing. So not that long compared to other projects, but it was a very slow process at times due to the subject matter of the film bumming me out while animating lmao. Particularly the part where he gets dragged into the spinning underwater hole, that took weeks to do.
This is a true piece of art. Your directing is truly great, and your brickfilms have a definite style, which cant be said for most brickfilmers. Keep em coming sir!
Thank you! I really like to hear comments like these because I've been really trying to develop a signature style over this year, and comments like this show me I've succeeded.
Many people say that deep serious meaning can't be conveyed through Lego, and most of the time I agree, but your brickfilms counter that notion. This was great. You also had some nice special effects in here like the glass breaking and water splash. Good job.
Thank you so much man! With more serious brickfilms like this, it's always a worry in the back of my mind that because it's lego, i can't break through the barrier of emotion and resonate with people. So i love reading comments like yours! And thank you about the animation, tried to really do some visually pleasing things there.
it is a very beautiful brickfilm
Thank you!
Oh, and the sound design- I forgot to mention how great it is!
Thank you! I really wanted to "submerge" the audience into the film in a way, and i really paid attention to how things would sound if this was a real world, playing around with reverb and muffled sound a lot too. When he's at his lowest point in the hole, it's just layers upon layers of space wind, black holes, votexes and other stuff to really drown him there.
Really terrific work here as usual, and quite possibly your best yet- certainly my favorite, at least! I think you've done a wonderful job of setting up the world and characters in such a short amount of time, and the surreal/dreamy elements are obviously wonderful looking but are also still easy to follow, which can be hard to pull off. I love the artistic vision you bring to brickfilming, it's something the community needs more of. Great stuff, man. 🖤
Dude this is absolutely amazing to read considering that you and i are not so different, you have such a unique artistic vision you bring to your films and are legit one of the best brickfilmers around rn. I really appreciate the comments, means a lot especially on a project that delves into slightly more mature themes and pulls from my own experiences. And yeah, the surreal and dreamy stuff was definitely hard to pull off, i thought of the simplest way i could say something then put it in a wild and surreal environment. Once again thanks man ❤️
Found out of Today
I fully expected Tame Impala to play with that title lmao This has to be the most creative thing I've seen all day! I've always looked for a brickfilm like this that goes way deeper that usual. So many great aspects that made this top tier. Well done, man! 👏👏
agreed he is a legend
Thank you so much! Yeah funny story is originally the song lost in yesterday was gonna be in the film, but over time as i was animating it i discovered it didn't really work for the vibe i was going for anymore. Thank you for the kind words bro, means a lot!
Broooooo this needs more viewssss , it’s so good !
Thanks bro!
It feels so cinematic! This is peak!
Thank you man!
I love the use of lighting, especially during the corridor and driving sequences
Thank you! I was a bit unsure if the corridor stuff looked good since it was mostly all overhead lighting but i think it looked quite nice there.
How did you make the tank
Design on bricklink. Link is in the description of the video.
Great accomplishment, great movie! You also pushed through and overcame adversity, you can be really proud. I love BTS like this, I hope you’ll do more of them! Looking forward to your next brickfilm
Thank you! My next brickfilm should hopefully be out very soon! I'm glad you enjoyed this BTS video.
pretty cool!
Thank you! Your film was excellent btw.
@@CLEGOFILMS1 Thanks!
I love behind the scenes videos like this. Great job on the brickfilm!
Man I love this wish I had done the contest but I moved put of my house to a new one
Oh man, wow
This was a lot of work for him because he spent 4 years working on it
This guy got me into Legos!
As the ninth doctor used to say: Absolutely FANTASTIC!
😂😂😂😂
Ayo?
Oh yeah, it gets better every time! The sheer amount of different shots and setups in this film is so impressive, especially because not a single one of them feels rushed or unnecessary. Absolutely fantastic stuff.
Thank you so much again Sully! Your words mean so much for me to hear. And congratulations again on winning!
Upon rewatch this is truly amazing!! The story is super clear in a way that I struggle to do sometimes, and the cinematography is top notch. another banger!
Thank you so much! I went over the story many many times because i wasn't sure if it was gonna come across the way it did in my head. Glad it did! And I'm glad the cinematography is a step up here, that yellow green and red moody lighting really added to it.
Daaaamn, that’s impressive, love it, I know how hard make a film, but it’s a full movie this is so cool, imagine impressive movie by LEGO, sorry if my English is so crap I’m not American or British, I was typing without translater, but I’m still learning English and I’m trying my best.
