Mr JWW honestly has been put in my number one spot for RUclips vlogging. I feel that everyone else is either repetitive or has lost their way. Keep up the good work 👍🏽
There is only ONE thing I dislike about that car - the inordinately massive price-tag. If it were a tiny fraction of the price then maybe (just MAYBE) I could afford one.

Production value and content is pretty high on Jame's channel. Quality over quantity which is awesome! I Can just about manage one video a week at the mo.
Sounds like perfectly legit feedback from an owner/lover of the brand, nothing to get upset about. But as Mac have shown since the launch of the 12c to the launch of the 570, they definitely do listen to their customers. Anyway, interesting as always James!
Glad to see the 675LT back on the channel! Welcome back to winter! A car wouldn't be as much fun without some character and small "issues" it adds to the fun!
Mr JWW why dont you wrap the side blades and front spliter in black or carbon fiber for it to look a little better, i'm not saying it doesnt look great because it do but you and i both know it will just give the car a little more edge
I've watched a few of your vids now and I can say you are a great vlogger and reviewer and you really know how to connect with your audience. Keep doing what you're doing, it's great! One happy new subscriber :)
As usually with your videos James, this is downright honest and objective and shows as best as could your views, which convey the idea of common sense when using such a machine. Love to watch your videos man !
I love these videos! I've been a long time reader of EVO magazine and I enjoy their channel also. But your videos give genuinely unique owner-perspective which I really enjoy! I talk about this car to my colleagues at the water cooler as if I own one... I've never even sat in one! Please keep them coming!
A great video. At least, real life stuff, not only first class flying with Pagani underneath. This honest stuff really helps to connect with the McLaren experience. Thank you James
David Swanson yeah they were pretty infamous for their turning circle. I work as a car painter, and we had one of these in the shop once. Trying to manouvre that thing around our very small and narrow space was a pain the ass
Love the last bit, lol. I had a sit in the LT when at Geneva the year they had the original LT there. The LT has been my dream car since. You're living the Dream James.
Mr JWW why dont you wrap the side blades and front spliter in black or carbon fiber for it to look a little better, i'm not saying it doesnt look great because it do but you and i both know it will just give the car a little more edge
Wrapping it black would seriously mismatch the carbon splitter and sideskirts and wrapping things in carbon fiber wrap is just tacky. In my humble opinion.
It does indeed lock tacky... TBH the orange look has grown on me, so I'm not gonna be dissapointed if he doesn't work with Mclaren to get them replaced with bare carbon ones.
I love these types of videos. No car is perfect. And it's very interesting to see actual owners give you an insight on things you might never get to experience. Thank you for sharing.
refreshing to get reviews about supercar being used as daily's. it's 100% more informative than the usual auto mag and RUclips pundit overviews. nice. very useful for my purchase decisions. Thx. also your ability to clearly convey your experience is well, better than even people like Chris Harris.
Great video James - thank you. Completely relate re 'cup holder issue' - I sent my LT back because of it - the guy at the showroom told me I had lost touch with reality and that the vast majority of people can't afford to buy a home let alone struggle with their cups.....
G'day from Australia mate. You have the best Super Car channel. Period. Ship that thing over here for a holiday sometime and do a meet and greet with your fans here.
second time I have watched this. Everybody does video's like this but yours is just special. I think that yours are so good because of the passion for your own cars. I can't wait for video's like this on the F12 TDF, 720S, ...
I always find the 'the things I hate about my 300k supercar' so patronising, but you actually made it entertaining and fun, and the last point was hilarious. There is always going to be a compromise with a car like a supercar, but you nailed this video...its so good to see the 657LT back, I missed it...
Another great video james! I truly enjoy your content way better than salomondrin. Keep up the great work! Oh and by the way. How about a little day in the life?
I would have thought finding five negatives would be very tough. I've never seen any on the LT. However, now that you've pointed out the five annoying points...I guess that makes sense. Thanks James for pointing these out for us. (Mike in Ohio)
This may be somewhat cheesy but you're a huge inspiration to me. Not just because of the cars you own and content you make but also I want to be in a similar position in life by the time I'm your age(I'm 21). Owning cars I enjoy, just enjoying life. You have a great sense of style as well and you seem like an all around cool dude. Great videos man, keep it up. Best wishes for you moving forward 👌
I love it when you say Shu.... lol.. I know the RS front lift work pretty good. Although I still scrape on the front end a bit on a steep drive way (in and out of a shopping center). Certainly I need to check and plan ahead to drive up to any type of drive way. I have two front end plastic spoilers. One being repair by the bumper repair guy. Lol.. great fun video. 🦅🦅🇺🇸
James has a good technique for getting in and out repetitively. Ayyy on a serious note though, James if you see this - could we get a comparison shot of the LT/GT3's lift in action? maybe on like an instagram post or something, just really quick and simple. really curious to see the difference in height and speed of lift. cheers!
Enjoyed the video, James. It's always nice to get an idea of some of the little irritants in any car, and I'm sure they all have a few. As for the video with the GT3RS, I thought it was a great change of pace - just something a little different from your norm. And I think a lot of it was for the beautiful scenery. So don't abandon it - once in a while is great. I always enjoy your work.
ok Mr JWW lets address these isues. 1- the reason for the tight turning radius IS to completely stop traffic so as they can admire a beautiful car! 2- the head lights are just for appearance ONLY! After a fantastic day of either cruising or enjoying it at a track, YOU should be getting lit up celebrating having a fantastic car! 3- the reason for the awkward entry and exits is purely for entertainment! Its the reason short skirts were invented!! ok moving on. 4- cant help you there, I like the concealed holders. 5- the slow axle lift serves 2 purposes. again referring to holding up traffic so others can admire your car, and 2, so that when you get going again after being held up for so long, you get to press the noisy pedal to make up time! in my opinion, its a win win. awesome video Mr JWW!!! keep them coming! ENJOY!!!!!
Great video James, and dont worry about saying what u dont like about it, i myself got a R56 JCW and altough i am enjoying it a lot (sound is awesome hehe) there are definitely some things i dont like ☺️
Mr JWW I'm from NZ too. Just saw the McLaren tour yesterday. Included F1 x1, P1 x2, 675LT x5 and a 650s LM. I managed to get a photo with Bruno Senna and Derek Bell and sit in and start up a few. It may not be hugely unusual for those from Europe or the US, but for New Zealand, it was unprecedented and a dream come true for me.
Mr JWW Also, I understand it would may be very expensive given how far it is from Europe, but you should consider coming to NZ or Australia. It'd be awesome to have some of you guys there and I know there are plenty of NZ fans
James, I could pretty much live with everything but that cup holder situation is a deal breaker I swear! Would be interesting to hear what Shmee says about the cup holder situation specifically Lol! Great video as ever!!
It's still a road car at the end of the day so everything you said is 100% relevant. Crap head lights on my Berlingo van I can accept, but not on a car like this. I hope McClaren are listening, they won't get feedback like this from Shmee!
VERY WELL done, JWW! Those of us jaded by supercars would say "Go buy a Porsche and SHUTTUP!' But calmer minds would say, "Yes, they really are niggles and mostly likely WELL WORTH the price of admission." These cars, like the Scud, Aperta, all Macs except the 570++, were really not meant to be 'everyday cars.' Porsche can be a daily driver but you give up VISCERALITY. As you well know, you have to give up some at the bottom of the performance curve, to have the car SING at the top :-D Muy Bien Amigo!!!
I have been watching your videos since a few weeks after you started. I obviously love your videos, or else I wouldn't be here still today. I really enjoyed your take on things that aren't perfect on the car. Too many ppl never talk about the down sides and make ppl belive that super car ownership is perfect. Don't get me wrong, it's obviously amazing lol, but there is always things you'd like to be improved.
Mr JWW Thanks for the response. I've been curious on if you prefer the 458 speciale or the 675LT? I'm guessing it's the LT since that's your current car. I think I recall you saying that you got rid of the Speciale bc the prices got up there and you wanted to continue good relations with your dealer.... Last ?, how much do you like that new rs6 performance? Thx for the reply
This is not directed at you James but what people don’t realize is that the LT675 (and other super cars) is 70% or maybe more designed as a race car, that they made street legal, so there have to be some compromise that the owner have to considerate, like the turning circle. Because you aren't allowed to turn around and go the other way on a race track. So you are lucky if you get 30% of the ordinary things you would find in a regular car. And to be honest the regular super car owner don't spend even close the amount of time and miles in their cars as for example you and Tim does. And that is what I really really really like about you guys! You drive your cars the way they were made to be driven.
All these issues give the car character and make the journey an event, I have similar day to day niggles with my Fabia diesel, the difference ofcourse being that when the cars are parked up I still have a Fabia diesel, bugger
James you make great videos. Just wondering if you will make a video about the gear you use to make those videos. Keep up the quality of your videos. Thanks. @mrjww
Don't know if it's possible, but you should upgrade it with a rooftop with the help of MSO! The sound is better from what I heard from the stunning red HS shmee was!
I do believe the LT is a blast to drive but the look.. it doesn't make my dreams but your car in Orange does look good, the Spyder no at all :) sorry Shmee :) , regardless the power the only McLaren I do like the boot is the P1 :) Another great video James, fantastic quality and angles you do understand what you are doing.. keep on!
You have an F12, albeit not a TDF.............keep the LT, sell the F12 and something else you have worth a couple hundred, and buy the NLago...................c'mon...............you know you wanna...............ooops....no,no,no,...cancel that order........sell the LT and the F12, save you pennies for the FordGT...and while you're waiting.......get a Huayra..........unless you think the LT is better than the Pagani.......
Maybe 6. The tinny sound of the paddle shift. It is very intrusive in the vids.. It should be silent or a satisfying solid sound. but love that Mc let you change up or down on either side.
The Evora S has an incredible turning radius and one of the best steering feedbacks on the market....... but no cupholders at all, which drives me mad!
Well, you promised me you'd find five things, and you did. But let's face it, those things are probably compromises that needed to be made to create something you described as "Sold!" Terrific video as always, Mr JWW.
Spot on about access - wait until you are 37 years older than you are now as I am and 6 ft 3" and about 5 stone heavier, A Lotus Elise to get out of is literally painful.
James. LED headlight all have the same issues. At low beam mode, the beam is not as strong and focus as Xenon. the beam is weak and create lots of shadow. Lighting is super important to me so when it comes to LED headlight you will need Active High Beam Assist to solve this problem. Exp like MultipleBeam system on the AMG GTS & AMG CLS
I don't agree with you. We first had Xenon headlights on a Mercedes ML and now Led headlights on the new XC90 and the lights on the XC90 are alot better. Both on high and low beams. Ofcourse auto beam assist is even more comfortable to put on.
The last point is a deal breaker for me. Every single drive I do, I at least have to go through 8 speed bumps. Add a couple odd angle sharp uphill/downhill turns. The Porsches are really much more thought out for real world usage.
:) and having said that a few of the gripes with the P11 will be fixed with the almost here P14 cup holders/console, also could they improve the absolute shite reversing cams?!
I hope you read this James - I'm a great fan of your channel, BUT:1) I think you might be going down the route of over-editing your videos, as per example of the GT3RS series. The drone footage and distance shots are great, don't get me wrong, but - at least for me - I think there is just too much music going on in the background. And when I'm watching a moody car video of a supercar in the Italian countryside, I'd much rather hear either you talking or the car singing its song - no music playing over it. 2) Following the point above - as I think of it now, some of your best content in that matter (editing) was the McLaren experience in Tenerife - those clips were just perfection. In terms of end to end entertainment, I believe your clips from the UK are your consistently best work to date. Perhaps the next time you have an opportunity to drive your amazing machines somewhere more scenic, point the camera forward (like at the end of this video) and run the car through the gears more often. 3) Please don't go the route Salomondrin went - just three months ago you, Seenthroughglass and Salomondrin were the top 3 best car channels on RUclips - in my opinion. Now it is just you and Sam, since Salomondrin overkilled the vlogging path and now uploads quantity over quality - which is a real shame. I hope you know what I mean here - making videos about nothing. Not saying this particular one was like that, but I think plenty of other viewers also feel a touch disappointed when they feel like they are watching the same video over and over again. Nonetheless, I think you are doing a cracking job with this channel and I hope you keep up with the good content - there are thousands of petrolheads appreciating it right now!
Thanks for the feedback buddy and it won't be ignored - it is all about finding a fine balance with content on RUclips - while i would love to make epic videos like the 675LT in Tenerife every day the reality of the logistics of that make it near impossible - however I agree that there isn't always the requirement for music over the driving shots - it is dependent on the purpose of she seen, sometimes music is perfect for an A to B journey to fill between the A and the B ha ha - but i agree once you arrive at the destination that might be the great driving section it would be good to hear more of the car. This comes back to the fine balance because for me a huge part of enjoying the driving experience is the scenery and location in which you are driving it so to immerse the viewer in that element is important too and car sounds don't always lend it's self well to that scenario. It's still early days and we are evolving daily - 2017 will be an exciting time!
1st thing I don't like "it's not Cerulean Blue"
-Tim Shmee
Ha ha
hahah :D
just the only right colour in my opinion is the cerulean blue Tim Shmee had
You obviously didn't see MSO 675lt spider in purple-green
True I didn't.
675LT is my absolute dream car. Glad to hear it isn't perfect!
Perfect is clinical after all ; )
Mr JWW honestly has been put in my number one spot for RUclips vlogging. I feel that everyone else is either repetitive or has lost their way. Keep up the good work 👍🏽
There is only ONE thing I dislike about that car - the inordinately massive price-tag.
If it were a tiny fraction of the price then maybe (just MAYBE) I could afford one.
McLaren ambassador overlord Shmee150 will not be pleased with this.
Alex Zevallos lol, true.
No he won't, this means executions :DDD
Alex Zevallos how can anything progress/evolve without constructive criticism🤔....if Shmee or anyone takes offence to this then its a reflection of their own stupidity and stubborness...😉

one more reason to unsubscribe and ignore that :::::::: ( put your own description here ) :::::: and just watch mr. JWW and others ;-)
All dislikes are Shmee.
+Mark Richey 😂
This channel is so underrated🙁
Muresan Darius ikr
its a bit overrated content wise.
Production value and content is pretty high on Jame's channel. Quality over quantity which is awesome! I Can just about manage one video a week at the mo.
Muresan Darius my channel isn't rated
THE RAWKUS yes but i can make an amazing quality edit of me driving my car on a nice road, doesnt make it exciting or that interesting.
5 things I dont like about the 675LT:
1. I dont have one
2. I dont have one
3. I dont have one
4. I dont have one
5. I dont have one
"forget everything I've just said" 😂 😂 Great video James!!
Ferrari F12 - 'The ride height is too high'
McLaren 675LT - 'The ride height is too low'
What car does offer the perfect ride height? 😉
something in between: Porsche 911?
Kieran Wilson nissan micra
+Kieran Wilson GT3 is pretty spot on
Mr JWW I thought that would be the response, glad it is!
A car that you install an AirLift suspension system on..
Sounds like perfectly legit feedback from an owner/lover of the brand, nothing to get upset about. But as Mac have shown since the launch of the 12c to the launch of the 570, they definitely do listen to their customers.
Anyway, interesting as always James!
When i think of McLaren i think of Shmee150 lol
When I think of McLaren I think of Bruce and all of the brand's Can-Am and F1 history.
storck08 yeah right
I think of James hunt, the mclaren f1, p1, Fernando Alonso, Jenson button, etc..
Finally, some bits of honesty about cars from this guy.
well he's always been honest about cars, right?
Like he stated in video, some bird whispered to him that he is using too much superlatives.
haha i hear you thx
Glad to see the 675LT back on the channel! Welcome back to winter!
A car wouldn't be as much fun without some character and small "issues" it adds to the fun!
+thedownshiftchannel Indeed and considering how gob smacking the 675LT is everywhere else - for me it is still the best car in its class 💪🏻
Mr JWW for sure! You were lucky to get one! Even if it was a little over book price haha!
Mr JWW why dont you wrap the side blades and front spliter in black or carbon fiber for it to look a little better, i'm not saying it doesnt look great because it do but you and i both know it will just give the car a little more edge
Pamela Ramdat he's already said he likes it that way
Pamela Ramdat every other lt has the carbon so makes this one a bit more unique
6th thing, its not cerulean blue
- Shmee
MrJake2940 dont forget MSO
the only thing i dislike about the 675lt is i don't own one (yet)

A great video. At least, real life stuff, not only first class flying with Pagani underneath. This honest stuff really helps to connect with the McLaren experience. Thank you James
Great insight Mr JWW! It's amazing how fast 60mph looks on film!! Haha 😉
My brother used to have a Clio V6, and the turning circle was equally as shocking!!
Awesome Car.... Each time you hear it..... pure goodness... keep enjoying it and sharing!!

Pamela Ramdat It'll make it look like every other 675LT on the road; bright colour, carbon blades.
Good to see the LT again 😍😍😍 More road trips with this please!!!
I love these types of videos. No car is perfect. And it's very interesting to see actual owners give you an insight on things you might never get to experience. Thank you for sharing.

I think you need to take your shades off for number 2 😜
Another great video again bro, absolutely loving the content at the moment and I love your lt by the way 😝👌🏻
Good to have sincere people that actually tell you pros and cons of everyday life with supercars! Keep up the good work James!
+Speed Busters Thanks SB! Pleasure to share the journeys as always! 🚗💨💨💨
G'day from Australia mate. You have the best Super Car channel. Period. Ship that thing over here for a holiday sometime and do a meet and greet with your fans here.

Awesome video as usual. Did you film this near Wedgwood, Staffordshire? It looks familiar...
Great video, mr JWW.
Welcome back James nice to see the orang beast back on your channel, these 5 things haven't stopped the lt from being my dream car!

why is it always 5 things....why not 4 or 6 tiiiiiiiiiiings!?
Because 4 is to little and 6 is to much. 😜
James Lovett should do 3250 things I don't like. would be more impressive
ok Mr JWW lets address these isues. 1- the reason for the tight turning radius IS to completely stop traffic so as they can admire a beautiful car! 2- the head lights are just for appearance ONLY! +Joel 123 Thanjs Joel and hello Croatia! You have some amazing driving roads!
Great video. Perhaps the most 'concerning' is the headlight item, all others being convenience issues.

Billy Mays this car isn't even the t20 anyway 😂😂
Thanks James. Very useful details. What's the rear visibility like?
James, I could pretty much live with everything but that cup holder situation is a deal breaker I swear! Would be interesting to hear what Shmee says about the cup holder situation specifically Lol! Great video as ever!!
+THE RAWKUS 😂 well I had to find something!
First thing I don't like, there's not enough carbon, second thing I don't like is I don't have one. #firstworldproblems. :P

considerate, like the turning circle. Because you aren't allowed to turn around
and go the other way on a race track. So you are lucky if you get 30% of the ordinary
things you would find in a regular car. And to be honest the regular super car owner don't spend even close the amount of time and miles in their cars as for example you and Tim does. And that is what I really really really like about you guys!
You drive your cars the way they were made to be driven.
@MrJWW please get your hands on a P1 test drive!
All these issues give the car character and make the journey an event, I have similar day to day niggles with my Fabia diesel, the difference ofcourse being that when the cars are parked up I still have a Fabia diesel, bugger
as a previous owner of 2 McLaren 675LTs, i agree with all the points u made. thats why i sold them both and bought a Golf R. problems solved
would love to see this car getting wrapped in like satin anthracite grey or just satin black. It would look amazing with the orange accents
James you make great videos. Just wondering if you will make a video about the gear you use to make those videos. Keep up the quality of your videos. Thanks. @mrjww
+Victor Resende Could be a good video - will get around to it!
Don't know if it's possible, but you should upgrade it with a rooftop with the help of MSO! The sound is better from what I heard from the stunning red HS shmee was!
Great review! It clearly shows that you have remained objective in your assessments. Rare these days imo.
I do believe the LT is a blast to drive but the look.. it doesn't make my dreams but your car in Orange does look good, the Spyder no at all :) sorry Shmee :) , regardless the power the only McLaren I do like the boot is the P1 :)
Another great video James, fantastic quality and angles you do understand what you are doing.. keep on!
I screwed up my less to get sended out so now i can watch your video😜
+Freekickerz Belgium 🚗💨💨💨
Would you trade for a F12 TDF?
760AM Any day!
Humm... after i had driven to see what it's all about - if it blew me away potentially
Spoiler alert he did😂
I want that AP watch man!
To make it easier to get in and out try sliding the seat back. It makes a world of difference. Plus it reduces wear on the seats.
lol the turning radius demonstration was golden xD
+Jordan Rushing 😂 👍🏻
+Alex Alexander Ha ha pretty much!
Spot on about access - wait until you are 37 years older than you are now as I am and 6 ft 3" and about 5 stone heavier, A Lotus Elise to get out of is literally painful.
@MR JWW . I'm just curious about the brand of your sweat top and if possible where can I source one please. Many Thanks.
Nose lift is Hydraulic on the 675LT. Runs off the power steering pump using PAS fluid. Hence why it's slower.
Is that a Hublot? Looks mint! 👌
+Michael Charity Audemars Piguet
Hi James, what car (old new or upcoming) are you looking for the future?
G'day James. I found the sound on this video extremely harsh. Do you have a lapel mic you could possibly use? or were you going for the car noise?
As for the 'turning circle' why not just do a 'Doughnut' - like a boss??? (if that thing has an LSD)
+Thai Le No it's crap on full beam too!
Nice Audemars!
I don't drive a mclaren 675lt but I have the same problem with the lights on my citron c2
Hmm, I wonder if in due course MSO might do an upgrade to the 675LT's headlight issue. Food for thought.
+Vincent Gambini Potentially
We love you, James. Greetings from Toronto, Canada!
The last point is a deal breaker for me. Every single drive I do, I at least have to go through 8 speed bumps. Add a couple odd angle sharp uphill/downhill turns. The Porsches are really much more thought out for real world usage.
I can relate to the terrible turning circle also in the 570s drives me nuts in traffic..
+Balkan88 570S I didn't find as bad 🤔 honestly while the 570 might have a poor circle the LT won't even let you turn the wheel to find the circle 😂
:) and having said that a few of the gripes with the P11 will be fixed with the almost here P14 cup holders/console, also could they improve the absolute shite reversing cams?!
Heard the same about head lights from other customers when I was in the MTC service bay mechanics said raise the nose lift up lol funny
+garydeandeery Interesting!
+garydeandeery Interesting!
these videos are always refreshing, shmee always pretends his cars are 100% perfect
How does it feel going from left to right hand drive cars all the time, do you prefer one over the other?
I look forward to tuning in! Best regards!
Those slats/louvres over the engine in the glass/plexiglass, what happens during rain? Do you just keep it garaged?
+1989osu Rain lands on a carbon draining area - runs right out
THINKS, JAMES ANDCREW A PRETYY CAR WISH I COULD GET ONE I glad u r HAPPY.
