I’ve been watching this show so much, I’ve started hearing Billy’s voice narrating my life in my head

It's Friendship Onion Tuesday! Nice to have this high point early in the week!
Its a great start to the week. In fact it brings joy to my whole week!
I wish more people I know watched/listened so I had someone to talk to about it.
The high point is on the top of Dom's hair.
As someone who lived in Iowa for a few years, the skies there can be pretty incredible. It's so flat that the horizon is just very low and you really feel like there's a huge dome of sky above you.

I love how much these guys are getting into Giardiniera. Growing up in Chicago we used to put it in mashed potatoes for an after school snack. It really does go well in a lot of different things.

Dominic is in my favorite show of all time, LOST, and Billy is in my favorite movie of all time, Master and Commander. And both are in one of my favorite trilogies of all time as well. Love this show!

To answer the narrator question: Tom Waits. I can only imagine how silly it would be to have my elementary art teacher life voiced over as a film noir.
In other news, I’ve always LOVED untangling things, as well. It’s like a labyrinth, or closed-set bit of problem solving… there’s a guaranteed solution (providing you’re patient enough to earn it).
As a fiber artist, my preference is untangling yarn.
Back in the day I also was the cassette rescue squad.
I love how Merry was a writer after the War of the Ring; and also Dom is a writer!

The over-the-top theatrical film-noire American accent that's happening near 33:00 sounds as though Johnny Knoxville from Jackass and Homer Simpson somehow had a child, and that child was born and raised in The Bronx NYC.
Don't mind me, just sitting in my house all by myself and spitting out the water that I unfortunately tried swallowing right before the waitress quit her job at the diner. Loving the incorporation of improv scenes in this episode. Thanks for the laughs, Billy and Dom.

Montana is big sky country; Iowa has the Field of Dreams baseball field where they recently held an actual baseball game between the Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees...perfect considering the film "Field of Dreams" featured baseball player Shoeless Joe Jackson, who was a White Sox player. Anyway, I digress. Vinyl is best, CDs are great and can give that mixed tape deal and streaming is great for mobility and even access but the feel just isn't the same. It's like choosing to read via Kindle vs. a real book. While the former is is lovely for any number of reasons, the latter has a romanticism about it. I know people who prefer a printed newspaper because you can feel something real, it has a smell from the pages that has an allure to it. There is just something nice about it. Anywho...as usual...fabulous episode! It was a bit of a rough day at work and you always brighten and enlighten my days. :) Just keep being you all!

Dom! I'm with you on untangling things! There is a certain peacefulness that happens when everything is sorted out the right way. It's a good thing I'm good at it since I love to crochet and have to untangle yarn fairly frequently.

Fun fact: farfalle is Italian for butterflies. So they call it butterfly pasta not bowtie.
Fun fact nr. 2: Word "Motýlik" in my native language (Slovak) is word for a Bowtie, and also word also word, which means a little butterfly.

Another brilliant podcast this week..this is the best podcast ever acually. The Rizzo Song is not about her wanting to do something in life etc its about her not caring about what she does with boys to keep up a good girl apperence ..that the worst thing she could do is not to be a bad girl but is show her vunarability /weakness and to cry infront of a boy and showing that she cares about him or that he hurt her (in this case chenichi).
The riddle had me thinking of 'time' as it works the same way, keep up the good content lads!
I'd heard the riddle before, but worded differently: "No sooner spoken, than broken."

I'm Minnesotan, and Joe is exactly correct. I even commented that Minnesotans are probably most likely US residents to say "Yes" no matter what. Minnesota Nice is very common, especially in suburban areas.

Sometimes I can fly, like Superman, in my dreams. I'll be running, then notice how easy it feels, and how much huge distance I'm getting between footfalls, and think it's a bit odd, but then reply to myself that it's just because I can fly 'when I'm here.' This may or may not alert me to the fact that I'm dreaming, and can alter the reality as I see fit.
I had this same exact experience! It was dream pattern I held for about 15 years straight, and then one night I pushed the limits and I realized I needed to stop running/flying away from everything and then I haven't had those dreams since!
I would love it for there to be a Friendship Onion crossover with First We Feast Hot Ones. That would be wonderful.

Hey Billy and Dom, I heard your guys confusion about the name of farfalle pasta, and I've been studying Italian recently so I happen to know off hand, that farfalle is the Italian word for butterfly. Hope that clears up some confusion.

My mom's friend gave us her old car and it has a tape player. My mom's an 80's kid and still has most of her tapes. Feeling lucky. Lol
In Puerto Rico we call it Mayoketchup. It's been part of our culture for God knows how long. They sell it at stores but mostly people just make it at home.
