I laughed out loud when you talked about outlining! My Dad and my husband are HUGE outliners!!! The older kids cringe when they start in about homework!

Sinking fund track I have a sheet for each thing I’m tracking and it’s in the back of my book. I use the tracker sheets for the whole year. Putting them all on one sheet would drive me bonkers
I know exactly what you mean about sharing numbers. The good thing about it for me is that it keeps me accountable. I feel like ill have to explain myself to my viewere when i overspend lol. So im thinking twice before i do so now. Great video
One budget planner to look at is the one from the Page Company. Designed by Jordan Page. It has places to track most of that and the envelope system could work also.
I like the transaction & sinking fund pages. I think for me I would have to have multiple copies of these pages so that I could track each category on its own page. Thanks for the ideas! How do you manage your bank account balance and ensuring there is enough in your account to pay your bills? For example, a lot of bills are due at the first of the month when a pay might not hit the account yet. So if you use the leftover money in August to pay extra on items, how do you ensure there is enough money to cover September 1st bills?

I list my bills every month and I also break them down each pay period. And the amounts that I want add to my cash envelopes and sinking funds.
