I'm so happy this musical still lives on in peoples' hearts. It really shaped my childhood, musical and magical views.
I cried all the way through 😆😆😆
I do hope there is a soundtrack release of this production...
Enjoyed watching this at the Theatre Royal in Norwich last night!
Same really hope for a soundtrack, saw it Today! Loved it
Same recording, west end, and hopefully Broadway transfer
We saw this in Cardiff last night and it was fantastic, kudos to the cast and crew it was brilliant and did the film justice as well as being great in its own right. The production value was top notch!
Literally just introduced my partner to this musical after growing up on it. Had no idea they'd adapted it for the stage! Fucking finally!
I really like the rehearsal footage from Bedknobs and Broomsticks and I will be seeing the UK Tour at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield in October
Omg this is so cool! I so wish we had this soundtrack, I would love to use this versions background instrumental for age of not believing 😫
i spot rob madge!!
I’ve watched this about 100 times….just today ❤
I really enjoyed seeing "Disney's Bedknobs and Broomsticks" performed live at the Leeds Grand Theatre in Leeds in Yorkshire in England 🏴 in the UK 🇬🇧 during the UK Tour during over Christmas and New Year Period in 2021 and 2022.
The Cast sound amazing :)
Saw the show last night and it was amazing💗
I suppose this rehearsal is the recording session for the musical's soundtrack? I mean, it does feature moments from The Age of Not Believing, Portobello Road, Substitutiary Locomotion and Beautiful Briny, as well as a new song before the last song on this video called Bedknob Spell, which I can only assume is a song Neil Bartram wrote for the show. If this is a recording session for the soundtrack, do you have any idea how many songs are in this show and how many Bartram has created exclusively for the stage? I mean, I sure hope it includes unused Sherman Brothers songs like A Step in the Right Direction, The Fundamental Element (which is a demo repurposed for the show), With a Flair, Eglantine/Don't Let Me Down, the full version of Portobello Road, Solid Citizen (I'm guessing they might use this as a soccer (or football for our British friends) game might be hard to choreograph on stage) and most of all Nobody's Problems as well as Neil Bartram writing new words for some of those unused songs and even those that remain in the film no matter what version. I mean, of all the songs, unused or otherwise, which would you like to see with new words by Bartram? Also, are you all excited for the show? I mean, for now, we may have to travel to West End to see the show before it comes to Broadway. #bedknobsonstage
I went to see it on Wednesday it was amazing and breathtaking. The effects of the broom and bed were so well done! There is a total of 27 songs throughout but the bedknob spell is repeated quite a few times (I'm assuming to cover the sound of setting up the mechanisms to make the bed float)
@@jazzado36 27, you say? Well, I would like to know which songs were used and which had reprises by Bartram and which were deleted songs. I'm sure you saved the program booklet from the show. If you did, can you tell me the songlist, please?

@@jazzado36 That's the songlist? Well it looks good. I am glad A Step in the Right Direction is included. But I suppose Emelius the Great is a revised version of With a Flair?
@@jacktayl I believe so! In regards to your previous comment about football on your original post they replaced it with a live magic show to entertain the king (and grab the necklace) more easier to do on stage than a match.
Looking forward to seeing this next year with the grandkids in Cardiff 👍
Please come to Broadway! This plus Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas is like the best parts of my childhood live in front of me.
I hope it’s got elements from the book like in Mary Poppins.
I hope this comes to Broadway! An they cast Ashley Brown
I feel like there’s more magic when the Sherman brothers songs are played by a full orchestra
I've So Excited For Disney's Bedknobs And Broomsticks The Broadway Musical At Dartford's Orchard Theatre In Dartford In Kent Near London In England This Year Before Disney's Frozen The West End Hit Musical At London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane In London's Glittering West End Just In Time For Christmas. Which production is this?
Uk tour
thanks!
@@jackmarlow3543 Starting at the Theatre Royal Newcastle on Saturday 14th August
May be an unpopular opinion but the casts voices to not go well together at all.
Wow, that production looks very..........white.
Maybe the Potobello Road scene will make you happier 🤷♂️
Britain in the 1940s was pretty white to be fair 🤷♂️
@@marksheppard1960 Because a musical with a flying bed is all about stringent historical accuracy.
I wonder....1940s England......
U want it to be like that disgrace of a Harry Potter show where hermoine is black?? Don’t change the story just go make a new one
