- A fresh trailer for Bedknobs and Broomsticks has been released.

The rest of the company includes Mark Anderson, Jessica Aubrey, Georgie Buckland, Kayla Carter, Jonathan Cobb, Matthew Elliot-Campbell, Sam Lupton, Rob Madge, Vinnie Monachello, Nathaniel Morrison, Sadie-Jean Shirley, Robin Simoes Da Silva, Emma Thornett and Susannah Van Den Berg. The Rawlins children will be played by Dexter Barry, Izabella Bucknell, Haydn Court, Poppy Houghton, Evie Lightman and Aidan Oti.
The stage musical has co-direction by Candice Edmunds and Jamie Harrison, with Harrison also providing set and illusion design. On top of music and lyrics by the famed Sherman Brothers, there will be new tunes and additional lyrics by Neil Bartram, as well as book by Brian Hill.
I would definitely watch a filmed version of this on Disney+. Bedknobs is one of my favourite movies ever!
I saw this live last night. The whole cast is very talented but Dianne Pilkington was just INCREDIBLE.
It would amazing if we got a cast album or if it came to America.
I've read that it's in the early stages of production here, but that was wikipedia, sooooo who knows
A cast album would be spectacular!!!
Wow Spectacular 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Hopefully both
I contacted the company about it, and there aren't plans at the moment for a cast album.
I think it's time for us fans to go to the FB page and express our love for the show.
Such a beautiful production and Dianne Pilkington is INCREDIBLE in it.
I think that Angela Lansbury was in the audience for opening night.
I really hope it hits Broadway, I want to see this so bad.
This looks like everything I'd want from this show and more! Can't wait to see it!
Saw this show in Wolverhampton and was blown away. Absolutely amazing. Dianne Pilkington is gives a brilliant performance as Miss Price and hope to see her reprise the role in the West End. I would definitely go to see the show again.
NICE! The cut song from the movie “A Step in the Direction” is in the show!
What a fantastic song too!
Fantastic performances from all the cast. Really enjoyed watching you all last night in Birmingham.👏
Just watched it today!!! Cannot recommend it enough! All the actors are absolutely amazing. The magic is beyond belief. If you get to see it snatch the opportunity. The children are brilliant (although the eldest is played by a young adult) it was just amazing.
Fantastic. Btw, what was the battle scene like?
@@jblasutavario9549 really sorry for a late response but i remember seeing it. They had all the knights marching and the people were in full black to give the affect of the weapons floating and attacking the people it was basically like the films
@@LeodisTrainSpotter Absolutely wonderful. Thanks for getting back to me. That's pretty cool.
The performances were great. Very disappointed they didn't have The Old Home Guard opening song as it's fantastic!
Just watched the show tonight in Cardiff! So amazing!!! Would 100% see this again
Just a trailer and I have goosebumps. My favourite disney movie. I need this musical in my country ASAP
I'm going to see it performing live at the Leeds Grand Theatre in Leeds on Wednesday 15th December 2021.
Saw this at the hull new theatre was truly a treaty for the eyes such a nostalgic and magical production yes there are new songs written in the show and the song arrangements are very different from the film but I personally loved it
show this yesterday in Liverpool what a fantastic show
Deserves a West End transfer after it completes the tour.
Oh, her voice is simply perfect for this role. It has just enough brass and just enough warmth. Hints of Gylnis Johns and (appropriately) Angela Lansbury.
However, Charlie here, the eldest of the siblings, looks about 24. Cracks me up. Makes me wonder, are children under 16 permitted to do musical theater with its grueling schedule?
Lastly I am delighted that "A Step in the Right Direction" has been included in the show, after getting the chop from the 1971 film. The Sherman Brothers must be smiling in heaven. It's not the greatest tune but it has such bounce and vigor.
They are allowed but theres strict rules on working hours etc. So will often have 3 people in the same role which can be costly and difficult logistically on tour. When a show tours i have seen them cast from the towns they visit but ifs probably easier just to get an adult 🤣
@@KerriEngland That does make sense. Thanks.
Somehow in my lifetime I want this to go to Broadway
Saw this in Southhampton loved the book, the effects, the score, the performance , Great show of one of my favorite Disney films, The Special effects were amazing
Just watched this earlier at Leeds Grand Theatre. Bloody brilliant! Family loved it too 👍🏼👍🏼

I'm so excited! This was my favorite Disney film as a kid and the music is wonderful! I hope it comes to America!
Saw it today in Dublin, what an extraordinary show. We were all ecstatic and bewitched ✨️
My favourite film as a Child, so Happy that this was made

This trailer showcases recordings of the songs "The Age of Not Believing", "A Step in the Right Direction", "Portobello Road" and "Beautiful Briny".
Just watched the yesterday! Absolutely outstanding! The new portobello road was definitely the best part! Honestly so worth it!

I wonder if a recorded version will be made available on Disney +
With a special introduction by Richard Sherman.
