Hey Monty, "hands like a Wizard nice flow! Great tutorial, "I came to learn something new for fun, you didn't disappoint, lotsa goodies and ideas to practice on. "Thanks "New fan, student and subscriber! 👍👍
The most common is half dollars which work great for close-up performances. There are also a lot more choices in gimmicked coins in this size. I do mainly stage and parlor shows so I use only dollar coins an challenge coins. This is because they are much larger and easier for the audience to see. I do not use gimmicked coins. Actual palming coins are much thinner. I only recommend these if you are doing a lot of coin productions like a miser's dream routine.
When I was in Hawaii, I never did. After I moved to Wisconsin, my hands got very dry. Now I use O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream before every performance.
I don't think the size matters. I normally use dollar coins but I can also do it with a penny or dime. It does take a lot of practice so that's probably what you need. If you want to send me a video of what you are doing, I will look at it.
Thank you, Monty! Very much appreciated! ~

What should a person look for when purchasing palming coins?

Do you put any kind of lotion on your hands that allows better coin handling?
When I was in Hawaii, I never did. After I moved to Wisconsin, my hands got very dry. Now I use O'Keeffe's Working Hands Cream before every performance.
@@montysmagic I'll try it.
Wow
Thank you
What coin works best? Half dollar?
Any coin works fine for this routine. I use dollar size or larger because it is more visible to a larger audiences.
Thanks. I'm struggling to get the coin tucked in deep and was wondering if my coin was too small. More practice is the solution I think!
