    I really don't like how you teach the finger palm.
    First there are many different finger palms (high, the one you teached; low; with pinky and ring finger and also the ramsey style finger palm).
    The high finger palm is also not that usefull like the low/ramsey finger palm so as a beginner you should learn these.
    And you also didn't teach how to get into the palms you mentioned.
    Sorry but Metal from Eric Jones is the best for coinmagic beginners.

      I absolutely agree with you. I don't understand why he shows how to get into classic palm with one hand but not the others. He doesn't show the many variations of the finger palm (as you mentioned) and doesn't show you how to transition from one palming technique to another with the same hand. There is a lot missing from this video! Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. ✌️

      Alex rules. This whole series rules. Yeah i do some of the palms differently because my hand (like everyone else) is different. Doesn't change the fact its a freaking free bad ass tutorial.

    This is great - thank you so much! I'm looking forward to the tutorial on reappearing the coin, because I've found that most of the tutorials I've seen sort of skip that part and move straight to a routine. When I try to learn the routine, I can usually palm okay, but get clumsy in the reappearance. Thanks again - love your tutorials!

      There's a clip of Bobo doing some of his routines from the book on RUclips. You should check it out if you want to see what some of the routines & sleights are supposed to look like in real time. His performance is brilliant and shows you what is possible from that book. PS if I'm not mistaken there is a Bobo coin magic video set with Bobo teaching all his effects in the book, but I think it's very hard to find, hope this helps. ✌️😎👍

    • @AlexPandrea
      @AlexPandrea  4 года назад +1

      Morgans are dollar size, much bigger. Not a fan, as some of the palms are super hard with them, at least for me 😅

    • @kingrobert1st
      @kingrobert1st 4 года назад

      @@AlexPandrea Aha! I am using Morgan Dollars and the design looked similar (being British). I changed over to them a few years ago after performing over 10 years with Kennedy 1/2 Dollar coins purely because people said they were too small to see from a distance especially when you are doing street magic. I used to do 5 coins to whiskey glass as an opener but had to scrap that entirely because the Morgan Dollar keeps breaking the glass! I find the Kennedy 1/2 Dollar perfect and recommend it. I also use Chinese Dragon Dollars which I bought in a market in Chiang Mai, Thailand, complete with Jumbo! They are slightly larger and heavier than the Morgan Dollar and are real difficult to handle. I use Chinese copies because they are cheap online and have shells and flippers not expensive, 'nuff said!

    I saw this #1 coin series video, and thought I might as well just take a peek at it…..It’s excellent! You break things down and make it simple to learn, and then give a few tips like having a coin in each hand during the day to practice. Thanks for keeping it simple for below average want to be magicians like myself.
    I’m looking forward to the next three videos. 👍

    Alex why didn't you teach how to get in & out of thumb palm, downs palm ECT like you showed with the classic palm? Also you should show how to transition from one palming technique to another with the one hand that is doing the sleights. Not to mention there are many variations of the finger palm you should have talked about. Please make a follow-up video addressing these issues so it will be easier for your fans to perform these sleights. ✌️😎👍

    Please don’t reveal technique and method behind coin magic for views. You can inspire people by performing a great routine and even tell them where to find these techniques. People that will be interested will seek them out but please prevent that everyone knows. The classic palm or the false transfer are essential tools that loose all their value if they become general knowledge !!!!!!!!!!!
