    Great build! What AN Fittings and PTFE hose brand do you recommend thats not breaking the bank, but still lets you sleep well at night knowing you're not gonna blow your car up randomly? I've seen Evil Energy on Amazon but wasn't sure if thats the move. Thoughts?

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you sir! Evil energy fittings are OK, for fuel lines I don't trust anything cheap. I use Racetronix for fuel and powersteering lines, they aren't super expensive but not cheap, like $15 a fitting. I trust their products and have had great experiences with them. If it's something like a catch can line, evil energy is completely fine! Vibrant also makes high quality fittings but definitely not cheap

    This customer must have a lot of patience 😂 looking awesome though 😁

      Whys that? Basically building the entire car. Takes most shops 2 months just to do machine work on an engine block lol if I did this full time I would have the entire car done in like 3 weeks lol

      Oh wow has it only been that long, it feels like I’ve been seeing these videos for ages, but it’s probably only because I love this car and constantly keep an eye out for new videos 😂😂

      you might be confusing this build with his personal is300. He has only been working on this build 3 months.@@joshreek4154

    As for the wiring, im looking to do a full tuck as well. Have you thought about making the harnesses for sale? If so, about how much would one cost to get you to make one?

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah I was thinking about selling them, have alot of interest in engine harnesses and I may sell some chassis harnesses if i have enough demand for them! Engine harnesses go for around $1400

    • @Zeljin3662
      @Zeljin3662 4 месяца назад

      Sounds great. For your set up on the harnesses would be the same as this one? Fuses boxes in the trunk and ecu in the cab?

    I have the same intake manifold mine didn't come with fuel rail mounting bracket any idea where I can find some

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  8 месяцев назад +1

      I would try reaching out to SPA and see if you can buy them individually, worst case you can fab up some L-brackets. If you need measurements let me know

    How much to make me one of those catch cans?

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  8 месяцев назад

      Most likely around $400, its internally baffled and has an Ez drain valve on the bottom. Let me know if you're interested

    How much would this build cost?

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  Месяц назад +1

      Just depends on the parts used but this is close to a $30k build with all the engine work/T56 transmission that was bought brand new

    What scanner did you use for Lexus

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  8 месяцев назад

      I use an autel scanner with the Lexus software installed, really only use it to scan ABS system. Basically always dealing with Lexus's that are running a standalone ecu

      @@LakeBuilt We have a Launch Toyota scanner coming, I can MG you if you like to check it.

    Hi mate, turbo water return line appears to be connected to the wrong place. In that place coolant is circulated only when engine is cold and the thermostat is closed. There will be no water return when the engine is hot.

    • @LakeBuilt
      @LakeBuilt  8 месяцев назад

      It will circulate all the time, circulation doesn't stop just because the thermostat opens. 👍
