I think Bonham improvised every single time he played haha
On point, this was no doubt the one time he played it exactly like this, it happened to be on a record and a rather simplified version to Bonham's level, which still humbles 99% of drummers today. To play this song like Bonham you'd have to sit down and rack your brain endless to every night he performed live with Zep. Why there will never be anyone who can play Zep songs like Bonham, no matter how many copy cats posting vids out there.
@@DG-sf9ei Agreed!!
True
Bonham played naturally. These guys analyze every note and they still sound like amateurs.
Great Lesson👍
Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Your teaching style is perfect for the material, you’re clearly an experienced and excellent teacher. I really appreciate that you build each section up gradually so the student can digest it.
Thanks so much for the nice words. I'm glad you enjoyed the lesson.

Hi Keith, Thanks so much for the nice words, I'm happy you enjoyed my lesson.
Bonham’s ending is more iconic but I think yours is better! :-) I like the way your little drum fills in between your talking becomes a part of your vocabulary.
Thanks for the nice words. I'm glad you enjoyed my video.

Hi, Glad you enjoyed the lesson.
Crude yet sober and satisfying, for any bonzo loving fans. I liked your statement meaning the notes might not alwaus govern anytime. 👍
In general, we do research on what someone did, but never on what else one could have done.😄😄😄
Thanks for this man! I’m playing superstition in a rock band and I’m supposed to end in a solo so thought I’d do something like this, nice to see a lesson to take some ideas from!

Can we see your base pedal. What you using to get fast double beats? Tks
Hi, I believe I was using the DW Direct Drive pedal for this video. I really like that pedal. I use a slide technique which works well with most pedals. Maybe I'll do a video on that soon. Thanks so much for watching.
Basically it??? That's certainly it good sir!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the lesson.
Any chance of a dedicated video on the sweeps?
Hi, Thanks so much for watching. A sweep video, can you be more specific as to what you would like to learn. I'm always willing to try and help.
@@DWDrumMethods Sorry about that, the Bonham sweep in the Rock and Roll outro
Good shot ol boy
U look and sound like Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick.
tune dem and they will sound twice as good
Bonham just kinda wung it? Love that !
Glad you liked the video
Brilliant just wondering if you show a demonstration of the cross over pattern that John Bonham does at the end of Moby dick live version please if possible, as he didn't do it on the studio version many thanks great rock and roll ending and spot on tuition
Can’t watch it because can’t here you 🤔 I’ll try esp where
Dave. Can you do a lesson on the Rover opening. It’s hard, a lot of chunks.
Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. I will do it for you. Please like and subscribe so you are notified when new video's are released. Thanks again for the suggestion.
Thanks Dave I will , appreciate it!
Hi, I just posted the video on The Rover. I hope you like it.
I bet he Played It...then had ta LEARN It.
Or 'hertas' instead of sweeps and to steal something from another teacher on here.."veryquick (hands), slow (kick), veryquick, slow. I thought that was a good way to explain it
I'm not wrong. That is the actual music written by John himself and there are 2 bass drum fills on all 6 of those 16th beat triplets.
If you just can't play it, well just be honest enough to say so and teach your students the correct way. Believe me, it is a lot more
difficult to play it correctly, but so many wanna be drummers have found this cheating way that sounds close and they can't do it
the correct way so they keep on playing and teaching it wrong forever. That choice is all up to you. I'm just sending you the exact music notation
in normal speed and 1/8 speed appr... In fact here's another one of the drum outro only from the studio. I have all of their songs on Isolated tracks so I never
learned any song incorrectly. ruclips.net/video/POLNS8avoyU/видео.html
bonham wrote sheet music? really?
Es fehlen die Noten
Daaaaa can't hear you with the headphones 🎧 on
escribe las , figuras ..
Can’t here a word your saying 🤔
Yours is better. But he was 1st.
Promote your channel Dale! Do it!
Thanks again. I'm not quite sure how to promote it more. Any advise?
No se le entiende nada al tipo...jajajajaja pero toca sùper...
Good lesson, but he always led with his L hand.
Your sweep is not correct either.
All was better
lame
Quit showing off........
How about playing the whole song without talking
Too much talking
Нюхай бебру
Too much talking😊
You really have to learn some audio post productions skills.
