- Today is Day 2 of our Broiler Brooding Management Series, and I am showing you what could have been a wonderful intervention. The lesson from this piece is that baby chicks need all the care they can get. And if you want to reduce chicks mortality to the minimum, you want to make yourself available and take the right actions when the rime is still right.
This is a good poultry management video for poultry farmers who want to master the act of brooding in poultry.

Good day sir, my chicks are 3 days old today, but many of them have yellow watery poop. Is it to early to treat for coccidiosis? I want to vaccinate for lasota by day 7. Should I treat the coccidiosis before giving Lasota?
They are taking Kenflox and multivitamins currently.
With the organic treatment they take do day still need lassota vaccine?
I don't have machine which I will use for temperature checking, but I'm willing to buy while I don't know the best company to buy ?

Yes they are, but currently, the Noiler breed cannot compete with the commercial layers if you are trying to compare their productivity

Which is the best source of heat apart from electricity ?
Basically we have Electric, Gas, and Charcoal. Those are the most popular methods. But if you say apart from electricity, then we have Gas and Charcoal.
On the basis of health consciousness, the pollution that charcoal causes, the unstable heat produced, the fact that you always have to wake up in the middle of the night to refuel, I would say that there are many reasons to not want to go with Charcoal. But the number 1 reasons is HEALTH. Charcoal is not healthy for you and for your chicks
What is the best broiler
The best broiler is the one purchased from a reputable hatchery at a time when the hatchery has performed all the necessary precautions to prevent disease and when the parent flock that laid the eggs hatched into the chicks are in good health so they don't pass diseases to the eggs, and invariably the chicks.

Hahaha. If you still doubt organic poultry, then wait for the time for proof.
But now is not the time, sir.
DIY AGRIC will not want to alienate a lot of people who have not even tried to practice the conventional way. You need to know how to brood proper before you think of brooding the organic way.
I will not preach what I have not tested, so you can be rest assured that brooding the organic way is 💯% doable.
