This is innovative. But will the air coming to the chicks from the open floor under box not make them catch cold? I'm thinking if the base could also be covered with the sacs to control the air.
Not really. Remember the house is also covered and I close the door at night leaving only the small window open.
I also cover the top partially with sac bags.

And also can you please tell me, when do you change the brood box for the older birds? Like do you move them to a bigger box or you just put wood shavings on the floor then remove the brooding box? I hope my question is clear.

Great sir. Pls if you are brooding boiler in this box will you still give them all the necessary treatment they require.
It depends on what you consider necessary. But the box does not equate treatment. It only helps to manage the temperature
