Damn it all. Just when I thought I was done with overdrives. Seriously, this sounded great in the video. Might have to check it out when you get more to ship. Plus I just watched this video with my toddler and she approves because Dr. Seuss.. And she learned a new word. DIODE 😂

Great video of an incredible sounding pedal! And a good cause to boot!

This is great! My only hesitation is that I feel like I would be constantly having to open the pedal to experiment with and change the sounds. Maybe future versions can move some of these controls to the outside?

I REALLY wrestled with this, but ultimately I try to avoid creating “black hole” pedals that you end up adjusting and messing with constantly instead of just playing with.
The internal adjustments are subtle and designed to be sort of “set it and forget it” options that you can use to adapt to your own personal preferences and style, but I’m not completely shutting anything down for the future!

@@supercoolpedals honestly, I like the switches being on the inside. Kinda forces you to get more into the geeky/nerdy side of guitar playing

Interesting idea for a custom version..
would you be able to modify one w the DIP switch controls on the outside for someone?
..could it be switched over fairly simply?

So, if I want to tweak the pedal by using the tiny switches inside the pedal’s case do I have to remove the rear plate? I think it would be better if the back was clear plastic with cutout access to the switches. That’s assuming that you have to remove the back for access to the switches. Great video and details. Thanks 🙏. 👍☮️🌞🎸🎼

This was my first Klon based pedal, and I am pretty stoked I ordered it. Love the sounds.

I love this pedal. I've been meaning to open up the back and hit the Germanium switch for a humbling number of months! ha ha

I only play bass and already have Too Many distortion pedals, but this is so cool inside and out that I'm sorely tempted

Very inventive. I like the dip switches. I understand why you put them in the interior, But like others I'm afraid I would be opening it up often. Hell, maybe I'll just put some Velcro on the sides and forego the screws..

I finally opened this up and tried all the switches. Turns out I like the LED the best! (Today, anyway.)

This is really cool! I've never really used pedals, I have a line 6 spider V. Would this work well with solid state and or the modeling variety? Thanks.

So on that specific amp's settings like crunch, metal, rock etc; It is running a bunch of digital effects to mimic a pedal chain. To answer your question you can use pedals with solid state amps. However in your situation getting pedals is a weird choice since you technically already have them.
If you want to dip your toe into the pedal world, I would suggest picking up a lunchbox tube amp (orange makes the micro terror which is a tube preamp and a 20W solid state amp) then starting to build a chain. Just be warned it's a slippery slope.
