Wow,that is one nice truck Chris. Will certainly be handy having everything you need at work places with you all the time. All it needs is a couple of "Let's Dig " rear mudflaps!
Congrats. It looks keen to work. Scott was hinting that you had some special reason for being there. Well done putting your time in there to help out. That was heart warming.
Awesome truck Chris. And everyone has their own opinion on trailers but so far we’ve loved our trail boss with a 30,000 gvwr tilt deck it follows like a dream and handles our d6k like a dream behind our f-450
Cab and chassis tucks have much different rear frames compared to a trucks with boxes. Fleet type trucks which are usually cab and chassis configuration are detuned for longevity purposes.
I could hear the excitement in your voice. And we all agree that you deserve it, you don't buy anything that is not beneficial to your business and this will make it easier on you. Congratulations my friend.
Word of the wise. Take it in and have your coffin boxes bed lined. Because believe me eventually you’re gonna use it as a workbench throwing stuff on top of it and beating on things with a hammer. You’re gonna ruin that nice paint pretty quick dragging jumper cables, hoses, and chain over the side. I had mine done And that was the best $400 decision I ever made
Now sticking with the previous tradition of Chris buying a new truck, he'll be cutting another cheque in a few days for a second work truck that's not as nice as he doesn't want to get it dirty! lol
Exactly. They always arrive two by two. At least this round of trucks are not caused by a wreck like last time. That was going down when I first started watching the channel. Rough spot to jump in.
Nice rig, hope you enjoy every mile that you spend behind the wheel. You'll appreciate the nice ride every time you climb into the cab after a long day in the field.
AWESOME TRUCK BUILD ! , We try to catch up on as many of your videos as possible and really enjoy them, you have come a long way since tearing down those house trailers a couple years back and it’s nice to see you succeed ! , keep up the good work, looking forward to your own farm pond !
The Dramatic Entry of Your New Work Truck - wow and what a Beautiful Truck it is - comes with all the Features You always wanted - ha and it can Tow Huge Loads - well I think also this was the Better Deal and You sounded sooooooo very Happy and that's the Main Thing ! All You have to do is getting a Work/Service Bed installed and Installed You did and it Really looks so Professional indeed - all that Storage ! CONGRATS and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
That's sweet, great addition to your fleet !!! Nice choice of additions to the truck also. Hard work and quality work with great reputation pays off !!! Congrats on your new truck !!
Beautiful truck. Best of luck with it. If you get tired of the stupid auto idle stop feature there are is an after market product that will allow you to turn it off permanently unless you want to turn it back on. I've enjoyed mine.
I think I saw you this morning pulling that minix, off love mill right near 218 in Monroe, if it was you I was in the red 6.7 with the rack and service bed on it, great looking setup! I’d like to get into a f450 soon
Look at it this way... if you work hard enough to be able to afford it... you deserve it. You always put in the long hours, so it'll be nice to drive home in a nice, new(er), comfy truck. Congrats on your find!!!
Keep an eye on the gooseneck ball, the welds broke on my norstar bed and had to replace the ball and reweld. Probably will be ok but just a heads up. Great looking truck and bed though!!!
Always love when you get a new vehicle!! You put a lot of thought into something before you write the check!! Colors look good, can’t wait to see the goose neck next!
Just took delivery of a 23 F450 cab & chassis. Going to customize a Bradford Built Steel 4 Box Utility skirted flat bed. Bought the bed disassembled and no powder coat. We will do some modifications to it and then sandblast and paint it. Same color truck too!
Looks fantastic, it's a functional tool with some nice creature comforts. If you ever do get sick of the two tone look you can always wrap the bed, lot cheaper then paint.
Sweet ride! We have been shopping for the same truck! Very few Limiteds out there. They are amazing, have a feeling you will really enjoy the creature comforts that come with the truck! The window tint is a must. Enjoy!!!
I've gotta admit Chris, I've never been a blue oval fan, but the inside of that truck with the black and white looks very nice. The work bed on the back goes with that truck pretty well.
The two wheel drive cab & chassis F450 & 550 have a smaller front mud flaps. I purchased a set for my 2017 F450 pickup. These trucks are awesome. Keep the videos coming.
Good for you man congrats I love to see that you have been working all of your life for a truck like that and now you finally get to get one like that and use it everyday. Congrats and enjoy it!
Congratulations on your new truck! I've been a FORD guy for many, many years. I'm on my 5th F-150. 20 years ago I had and loved an F-250 in this time as well. Each time I trade up they get better and better! My current is a 2021 Platinum with many of the same "luxury" additions you have. I just pull a tandem axle, 18' enclosed trailer, hauling our show car. It does a great job and is extremely comfortable. I know you'll love your new F-450! The bed install looks perfect and should be very handy. Congratulations again, be well, be safe!
Sharp looking truck for sure, and a nice happenstance on the acquisition. Switching to a goose neck does seem like a good idea. Ya don't want to be right on the ragged edge of capacity, better to have more cushion space just in case you find something on the way to or from work that just needs to be brought home. Not withstanding having the extra braking is always a good thing for when you need it right now, and not in an extra hundred feet under load.
Chris I have a 2018 STX V6 with twin turbos rated at 417 hp mine has four door but it is the extended cab not the full size four door cab the same color as yours, trust me that truck will scare you it's a good thing I'm 74 years old and drive it like I have good since, enjoy your new truck and congrats...
Most trucks today are designed for city folks as a every day car for driving to a job at a local factory. For example, steel wheels are a requirement for areas that use heavy amounts of salt during the winter, but finding steel wheels is difficult. Salt eats under the beads on aluminum wheels. Engines need to be big, but most come with a city boy engine. Then comes the interior that should remind you of pole barn and not a limo. International had a smaller truck designed for the work truck category. Also the door handles on those trucks have a plastic cover which allows the truck to be broken into.
EXCELLENT Set Up, Chris.✅ You really did need something like that AND it will help out a lot making going to work and going home not seem as bad.!! 👍👌😎
keep some type of mudflaps on the front tires. the power boards get all junked up if you don't, and that causes the motor to strain and fail. and i imagine you will get some seat covers for it, too ! great looking setup !!!!
Chris if anyone deserves a newer truck you definitely deserve one as many days that you put in. That’s what we all work for is to purchase items that make our days a little more enjoyable.
Wow Chris, that is a awesome truck, you can never have too much hp. The two tone is neat, a few pieces of checker plate here & there will finish it off. Congrats mate😊
Very nice truck Chris! Congratulations! I have the 21 F350 with the heavy gross package, awesome trucks! Mine is the same color with black oversized wheels. You were very smart to get the non-chassis cab and the step down toolbox. Most people don’t realize those two things until it’s to late. Enjoy!
Sweet ride ol Chris - well done ! That thing is a rolling fortress , makes you feel safe when hauling big loads , takes the stress off a little after long day of in equipment all day everyday .
I feel the backup camera comment. We bought a used 2019 crew cab chevy 2500 utility bed truck and it didnt have camera hooked up. Had the ability but they didnt put one on it. We put a ARE topper and asked if they could get a camera for it they did and its So much easier hooking trailer up now by yourself.
Chris, be mindful if you wear dark dyed jeans that the light coloured leather interior might stain to the dye of the jeans. Any good detailing shop can easily remove it. Love the new truck and box. Great purchase.
She's a beauty!! Love those Ford trucks. My brother has Ford trucks of all sizes that range from 1967 to the 80s, in use everyday on the farm. Ford tough, yet Chris elegant 😁 hard to beat that!
I'd put Line-X protector on the bottom of your cab and maybe on the box corners. That would carry some of the two tone black style onto your cab for a cool look also.
Chris I've been working out of the back of my truck for almost thirty years. You can't get a big enough box or enough towing capacity. But it's really pretty.
Sweet, I wouldn't mind replacing the bed on my 2001 F350 Dually with one of those. Truck is very nice also, a little too fancy for me, but when buying used, you don't get to pick the features. I know what you mean about the ride. My F350 rides so nice that we take all our roads trips with it. Congrats and thanks for sharing.
We bought a 03 450 only problem was 6L. I could go down a 7% grade with no trailer brakes and stop in the middle at 38k lbs. Love my truck. I think you will be happy. Beautiful PU.
Congratulations Chris absolutely stunning well deserved,we loved watching your time with all the very best from Veronica and Pete from Australia. WOW I just love your new ride.
I've wondered for a long time why you stick with BP/Pintle trailers, I just figured its what you had around. They make sense if you're towing with a dump truck a lot, though. I just hate most BP trailers, and the long, heavy tongue on these amplifies the problems I perceive. Truck looks sharp with the new bed. Look into the (fairings?) piece under the bumper from a 2wd truck, they don't stick down as far.
Super nice. I’m so envious. In my truck everything just gets launched into the bed except for the tools that can’t get wet. That way I have an excuse not to have any passengers. Cab is full. Lol.
Guy here local has a ford about the same color with a black bed on it, he painted those huge front wheel flares black and it looks really good against the dark gray with the black bed.
When you start to search for a dual tandem gooseneck I highly recommend a diamond c. You won’t be disappointed. They have a few colors that would complement the color of that truck nicely 👌
Congratulations on you're new truck it looks fab! Hope you have great service from it.we can only get the ranger over here wish we could get an F450 in Ireland
Heck, I'm still running my 2001 F-150, bought it brand new for $16k and she's been running great ever since! That F450 is a very nice truck, here's to many good years to come! 👍
Who was expecting the Diesel Creek logo when he drove over the camera...😂😂😂
Was expecting a beep beep

He so should have started the video with a 'What's up everybody? Welcome back to Letsdig18. My name is Chris...' 😁
Seriously!🤣

But I wouldn't tell 😂
Scott is not as good as Bealy Good when it comes to squealing the be behind the scenes info!
@@HughzieTube LOL, I would never spoil Chris's surprise 😊

were planning on looking at new ram 3500 diesel truck
Good for you sir, you absolutely work hard enough to deserve the new toys.
Cab and chassis tucks have much different rear frames compared to a trucks with boxes. Fleet type trucks which are usually cab and chassis configuration are detuned for longevity purposes.

Nice Rig. Well deserved. Also great you were able to help Scott with his project. I'm sure he's grateful for your friendship and help.
With that kind of diesel creek intro I was expecting a beep beep! Beautiful truck. Congrats!
Finally everyone knows why you were with us for 4 days 😂 ...Truck came out beautifully!...Now gooseneck shopping time! 😎
It’s just a Shame he didn’t accomplish ANYTHING those 4 days he stayed with you all Scott…!! 🫣😱🤷🏻♂️
You must pay real well to allow him to buy a truck like that after working for you LOL
@@annafraley5388 Lol😅
@@CraigGrant-sh3in I might have paid the bed installer to take his time😂
Nice truck
I work at Kentucky truck plant that builds the f450. Thanks for buying our product.

Don't lie, Winston wanted a new ride around and get breakfast truck! The things we do for our dogs...
That's a nice rig right there. Pulling weight in NC is very expensive in registration fees. For those of you not from around here.
Looks like a great setup. Get some gray pen-striping done on the new bed.
Congrats Chris! Waiting to see her decked out with a few LD18 decals.

You are 100% correct on the difference with narrow frame vs wide frame trucks. They detune the hell out of the cab and chassis
Nice looking truck Chris 👍, great addition to the fleet. Take care of yourself and Winston and be Blessed ❤️❤️👍.

Well done Chris. Your research has paid off. If you feel inclined to change the color, try having it wrapped.
Awesome setup! on mine I like to wire the rear work lights up to one of the aux switches in the cab so I can use them as reverse lights
We bought a 03 450 only problem was 6L. I could go down a 7% grade with no trailer brakes and stop in the middle at 38k lbs. Love my truck. I think you will be happy. Beautiful PU.
You mightn want to have the front and top of the bed coated with bed liner to minimize paint chipping and /or damage
Very nice truck. Good for you buddy. She looks really good with that utility bed on there.
Congratulations Chris absolutely stunning well deserved,we loved watching your time with all the very best from Veronica and Pete from Australia. WOW I just love your new ride.
That truck set up like that should serve you well for a long time! :) and you earned a nice comfortable ride, especially after a long day's work!
Congrats ! Same color as my F250 the best part of that color is dirt hides pretty well so you won't feel bad not washing it all the time.
You should look into the rear seat delete storage areas they have for those trucks.
Looks great, figure out an air compressor and you have qll you need there. Thanks for sharing. God bless

Love it. I am proud to work at THE KENTUCKY TRUCK plant represent and represent the men and women who make these beauties!
Super truck, suggest large mud flaps at rear wheels and simple aluminium armour plate put on exposed areas with galvanised rivits. Enjoy😂
Nice! You should get the bed painted/ wrapped to match
Congrats!!! I think that the service bed would look better the same color as the cab. Ether way it looks great!!!
Very nice truck, use it well. My company just brought me a 2023 550 and i love it .
Looks awesome.
Congratulations on the new ride can't wait to see it hooked up to a gooseneck!
Congratulations Chris! Wecome to the F450 club. I love my 2020 F450 she's a towing beast. Enjoy your new to you truck.
Ya need yer Letsdig sign on the side Chris! It'd really stand out. Very nice. Happy fer ya!
Nice Chris, nice. Like the truck and the service body! Get what you want and what works. Makes life so much better. Very happy for you!
I'd have to invest in some serious, serious seat covers. Other than that - she looks spectacular, a superb addition to the family.
Now that's fantasy! I like it. Congratulations Chris man she's a beauty!
Super !! Years ago I had a 2003 Ford F250 diesel 6.0 . Put 415 THOUSAND MILES on it then moved to Az . Aircon quit so traded it .
Good luck and enjoy your new service truck, Chris
Congratulations on you're new truck it looks fab! Hope you have great service from it.we can only get the ranger over here wish we could get an F450 in Ireland
Just Outstanding Chris……just got a 2023 Ford Explorer XLT in Carbonized Gray Metallic, colors look similar……
Beautiful setup! You are definitely correct that cab and chassis do not have the power of a regular pickup.
