My second RC was a Nitro. I've had several. My favorite are the Nitro Rustler and Stampede. Still have them both. 28 years. Of course I have rebuilt them a time or 2. Lol. The Stampede still has the PRO 15 in it. I up graded the Rustler to the 2.5R. Love them. Nice to see a T MAX run. Fun to watch.
Awesome RC dude! Love that thing. Very nice. FYI: on land we go up or down in elevation. Airplanes go up or down in altitude. But I’m just giving you a hard time 😂 I loved this video 😁
Good stuff, Earl. I got into the nitro thing a few years ago now. Dont get me wrong, i love my outcast and xmaxxs, but there is something to be said about the raw feel of nitro and putting an engine together, hearing it pop off the first time.
I use spray nine to clean up the body. Works awesome, just wipe with a damp cloth afterwards to make sure all the cleaner is off! Very good tuning and running. I have 4 of the older tmaxx's, 2 pro 15 and 2 2.5's. One I converted to 3.3 and with the short chassis it's a holy terror for wheelies. ❤❤
The difference between the fuels is because Traxxas uses castor oil and the other brands like the backyard Basher fuel uses a synthetic blend and I will definitely tune differently but yes you are correct you change the fuel you have to change the settings keep up the good work brother😊😊❤
Any chance you can run your nitro up at the BMX track - or was that one of the other locations you tried? BTW: You have a great voice. My wife loves listening, too - even though she's not into RCs. I heard you're a Teamster, but maybe you should be doing VOs for films instead!
Wayyyyy lean on the bottom. When off throttle first 5 ton10 seconds idle should settle down. She just keeps screaming. After 15 seconds idling a nitro should really load up potentially sometimes stalling. That's normal

Love seeing the nitro content again 👍 Tmaxx is a true nitro classic, I love running mine!

Earl, I like how you have a variety of stuff in your channel!

Oh right T-Maxx video 👍 games on it's good to see the T-Maxx back in action Earl💪💯🧑🎄🎄
I had a T Maxx when it came out, don't have it now though, I still have some Nitro Helicopters and air planes though. 😀
The sound, smell and the absolute fun of running Nitro’s is something I will always do.
Thanks Earl.
I only use Traxxas fuel for my Tmaxx’s
Moorhead back in nitro whaaaat
Sounds Nice man
Nitro for me 2024 🎉 I will be relying on you 😅
Can’t wait to see ya rip a traxxas nitro 2 speed your going to love it watch 👌🏅
Reminded me to check the jato, it’s sat for over a year 😮
I have Tmaxx Classic with 2.5R & 11K carburetor and O.S LC3 best combo.

Most don’t like the noise and complain about it up there but I will run it up there when no one is around
@@earlmoorhead5555 I'll look forward to it. Wising you a Happy 2025 from New England!
I had kind of decided not to go the nitro route, just stick with electric, but after watching this, I almost want to invest in one. 🤔
Got to give it a shot it’s a different level to rc ing
Know what you mean about fuel but I went to torco in my revo 3.3 and love it runs good on torco fuel
I burn a lot of SideWinder and it's been rock solid. It IMHO, burns like Bones Brew. Def smells like it too. Read into that what you will.
Very few things sound better than a running a tuned Nitro RC and hearing it shift gears.
Earl, is that the only nitro you got and the first nitro RC? I was just wondering when you started RC hobby?
I started nitro in the 80’s around 13 years old as I’m in my mid 50’s now 🙃
🍻
Cheers 🍻

This is correct! The bottom is too lean.
