I’ve been watching your vids a lot. I think you are going to be an influence why I am going to buy a nitro RC car!! I have an electric slash 1/10one, there’s something about having an engine screaming down the road that is just amusing to me. I have always been into RC when I was younger my uncle had a Jado 3.3 and he was ripping it down the road one afternoon, and he had it pinned and the next thing you know he went off the road and there was a brick sitting there, and he ended up, smashing the whole entire front end of the jato. Was some good times 😂😂 I think I may get a tmaxx or a revo.
Great video! The Revo 3.3 is really the most all around perfect nitro rc car! So easy to work with, tune, and drive! The perfect beginner nitro car, but also so much fun for more experienced nitro drivers!
@@brandenbreen2667 lol!! NitroGang bro! Got you! hope you out there running nitros too and making them great again. This is the one I had a forward only conversion installed in btw.
@@hybrid32494 hey man, Ofc bro currently giving my Optimus gp DHK a carb clean and buying new o rings for it as it needs replacing every few years. Nitrogang
The Revo 3.3 will always have a place in my heart as it was not only my first foray back into the RC world, but also my first nitro! And with a dash of Gods Grace I was able to take an old 2.5 Revo that I’d bought off of Craigslist, yep, and power up to the 3.3, do a more or less proper break in (my first so give me some leniency) and it ran and ran. Never had any problems with it. All I can say is that I actually did use Traxxas fuel, and OS Lc3 glow plugs. And it never failed me. Got the extended chassis, then began to upgrade every part that I could afford to. And she never let me down until I did something stupid while I still had the reverse in it, and it was acting up. So panicking I for some reason kept switching it to fwd, reverse, and over and over again (?) can’t say what made me do it, but eventually it stripped out the main drive gear. So I converted it to fwd only, and right back in the saddle! Love the Revo!! All Hail the great Revo!!
hey my dude! Im glad to hear you're working on this great truck, it's ben out for 20 years and it's still making me happy!! Good luck to you bro, and let's hope the nitros never die.
hey buddy! great question. In general the forward only conversion greatly reduces the rotating mass of the trans by eliminating lots of the extra hardware from the reverse system. You also can eliminate the shift servo to simplify the system. Its really a matter of time until the reverse fails unfortunately. When it does, then just go forward only.
you're not incorrect bro!! I agree. The stock 3.3 carb tends to load up and has less crispy responses than a nice OS carb. Maybe one day I will get one, hanks!
Hey Nitro, crazy man, you do great vedios, always entertainment ,, I had a 3.3 Revo years, ago, when they, first, came out, great, truck, I got a losi 5b, New in the box , bought from DDM, back in 2020, 749.00 bucks, thought needed,a spare, lol, i got, a losi 5b, all complete, had, scence 019, got OBR signature engine 34cc stroker, and a reed case, needs piston, 5 grand in that, lol, never raced it on a track, just a basher, my question how do sell all my rc,stuff im 67, got disabled , and have a 990 serpent nitro, and 989 serpent Tiapan electric ,, both, run, im in AZ

hey my friend! I really recommend you pick up a new traxxas nitro, they are the easiest to run and work on, with tons of parts support. Check out the links to some in this video, you cannot go wrong with the trraxas nitros.
I must have bought the worst Revo in Australia. I had no luck. No compression. Balls fell out of the bearings. Air leaks. RX Battery was dead. Kept flipping over all the time. I’ll have to get a better one some time
@@jaciel85 yes it was the oldest Revo 2.5 and it was well used, i probably should have done a full strip and rebuild and changed engine. I don’t find them intuitive like buggies. Just looking at it I couldn’t figure out how to change mesh and lock it in position
Nitro Gang Approved!
The Revo 3.3 is my favorite nitro Truck it is a Bashing Beast !!! Love mine !!!
Thanks bro! Gotta love the Revo 3.3. In fact it's the only truck left on the market with reverse from the factory.

A very unique and strong design can't go wrong with a nitro revo.

hey bro! I got your e-mails, I will take a look. IF you need any nitro help, you've come to the right place.
That big slide the Revo took under your Prius is why you should leave the body on the Revo when driving !!!!!!
