@@boritobe2752 SCS will likely rework benelux after Switzerland. People impatiently want SCS to rework UK now, but they don't seen to realize that UK isn't the same scale as rest of Europe. I think it make more sense to rework entire maintain before starting to rework UK.

I feel like there are some areas that do need reworking abit such as the A43 in France to Italy and the Turin to Trieste area also needs to be redone too. Other than that ETS 2 still is nice
for those, who are screaming about the UK rework. Didn't you notice that they began making reworks starting from the central part of the map? As it is the part of the map, where the majority of players are going through most often. I don't think you, guys, would like to go for long deliveries, if there were outdated Germany, eastern part of France, Italy, etc, but with the beautiful UK, which is located in the very corner of the map and thus you would visit it more rarely, than those countries, I mentioned before
Rebuilding the UK would be a better idea. That hasnt been touched since it was ported from UK simulator. I dont think a map was even glanced at, let alone followed for accuracy.

Hi, In the game we see the cathedral of Reims and Strasbourg, why not those of Clermont-Ferrand and Bourges? It wouldn't be harder to do. They are also very typical and can be seen from very far away. Just a cliche of them from far would be nice. Another thing: the mountain road between Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon (via the highway) is completely non-existent in the game (completely flat!). There is a very dangerous descent in that region, near Thiers, which would be worth negotiating at the speed bump in the game. Bravo for this fantastic game which is very robust (very few crashes, only one for me, up to now (about 4 years)) and very realistic!
the benelux (belgium, the netherlands and luxembourg) and the UK need it even more. Italy looks good. the countries I just mentioned are really outdated and need a rework so i disagree with you
They have to rework the UK Benelux Czechia Hungary Poland and Scandinavia they feel so dull and i try to avoid routes from there Scandinavia is beautiful but small
ETS2 became an awesome game since 2012. In my opinion. It's time to develop a new game (ETS3). With new engine, bigger cities. In ETS2 we spend kilometers on highways. Why no face the big cities? We want to take pictures with Eiffel Tower on Paris, take some shots at coleseum on Roma, appreciate the Brandenburg Gate at Berlin. Things like that. I love ETS2, but it's time to upgrade!

When i played ETS2 i really hated the narrow entry roads onto motorways in the Going East areas. I really hope they will fix them someday.

Unfortunately SCS software is a small company. They can't do everything at once. But I'm pretty sure we're getting a rework some time in the future.

new game engine means they'd need writing everything from scratch
also, you don't realise, that SCS isn't an AAA studio, but it's ratherly small dev. It would take them 2-5 years to make a new game engine.
What about pay for some succesfull engine, like Unreal engine? Yes, they are a small company but look at the Promods guys do.
