    This is a great technique, and I love the washed pieces, NOT perfect! Thank you for experimenting.

    What did you use for the image transfer? What is InkAid? Is it alcohol based?

    The woman in the photo looks so much like my mom!💕 Thank you for sharing this technique. I used a iron on photo technique onto fabric. I made lots of them of our family dating back 5 generations and they are hanging from a tree in our living room. It’s our “family tree.”
    The technique that you used provides better detail. Mine ended up looking distressed.
    I really appreciate the video.

      @@CarolynDube It’s an actual oak tree branch that looks like a tree with pictures hanging on it. My husband secured it into a base. Sometimes I put fall leaves, snowflakes, green leaves, hearts and of course a bird nest on it.

    I wonder if it would make a difference if you heat set it with an iron before washing. What’s your opinion?

    • @CarolynDube
      @CarolynDube  Год назад

      Haven't tried it, but my instincts tell me it won't do it because the image transfer is resting on the fabric, it doesn't get absorbed in the way a dye does or like in sublimation. Hope that helps!
