Exactly, there’s nothing wrong with having a consistent and solid body of work, especially one that’s been going on for 35 years at this point. Not many others in this genre can claim that.
I'd say it's somewhat different as you can hear Rutan's influence on the riffs (with an even darker tone and some not so typical harmonies) while they manage to maintain the basic qualities of their Death Metal. It's not by numbers. It is its own thing.
I personally, love more technical stuff, in death metal, but good to know that such an old band(from the early nineties!) in the genre still has it, that's pretty good. Hell yeah!

Even though I hoped for a long video on this album I truly understand why this isn’t a long review. There’s not many songs as rememberable any more from cannibal corpse, sadly. But they still make quite the bangers nonetheless (Also Summoned for a sacrifice is the best song on that album)

One of the greatest metal bands of all time imo. Changed the game, consistently insane production and instrumentals, ridiculous vocals from George and always an incredible live show. Prefer only Death and Morbid Angel in terms of death metal 🤘
