Just heard the news about final tour cancellation. So sad Steven's throat never recovered to his satisfactory level.... Wish I saw you live at least once. I already bought 2 tickets.... I guess it's not meant to be, and it's a lesson for me to do things before it's too late.

I attended this concert the stage setup lighting and production was much more than what I expected Aerosmith was great Steven Tyler's voice is just as good as it was 50 years ago the set list was spot on with a perfect mix of the early years to the now but the only thing that would have made it even better Aerosmith didn't need an opening act don't get me wrong the Black Crowes were good but I could name 50 more songs I would have liked Aerosmith to play still an awesome concert and with the cost of tickets today I definitely got my money's

I haven't had the opportunity to see them in concert😢 but I do own all their albums so i can listen when i want to. Sad to see them leaving 😢 but I guess they have earned it, after all the years they have been bringing us the best music ever❣️

Saw them at MSG in NYC in the early eighties. It was one of the worst sound quality concerts ever. They have come a long way.

They are quitters… artists way older than them are still going: the Rolling Stones, the Who, Dylan, McCartney… difference between doing it for the music (the artists I mentioned) and doing it just for money like Aerosmith.
@@andrewft31 not sure one can come to that conclusion. Some people may want to do something else with their lives during the home stretch. One could also say that they aren’t all about the money or they wouldn’t retire.
@kevinmichael9482 in that concert you could barely hear his voice over the instruments and the instruments had no sound separation. On top of that, too much deafening feedback at times. Surprising it would be so poorly sound engineered and mixed in such a large and major venue like that.
Best band ever , was so great growing up in 70s with you guys and to see you all going into the sunset so graceful is beyond beautiful brothers.

Bittersweet but I am thankful for all the shows I went to. From my first in 1978 this band never failed to deliver. My only wish is that Joey could be apart of this tour😞. I can understand why these guys (along w / Eagles, KISS, Foreigner, , etc.) are retiring after all these years....BUT I hate not having new music, videos, etc. to look forward to. This band has consistently been 1 of my very top favorite from way back. I am so going to miss all the great music & talent from these bands but will forever be thankful that I was fortunate enough to enjoy the years w / them. May they enjoy their retirement w / joy, happiness & good health. Thanks for all the great music. ❤

I was just born when they formed as a band. Actually December 1971 a day before Tom. I’ve been a fan since I was 8. There was always music playing in my house growing up from classical, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s (parents) & my sister rock. Lucky enough to see the Bad Boys from Boston many times. So many great memories. Aerosmith will always live in our hearts forever 🎸🥁🧸💙

This farewell stuff is old. I can see the band putting an end to world tours, but at heart, it’s about music - in the blood. Aerosmith will continue to play festivals and the odd gig.

Aerosmith is one of those bands that have become really overlooked and under-appreciated over the last 20 years. But man, those first 4 records punch so goddamn hard it’s impossible to forget. Aerosmith was also my gateway to so much shit-The Beatles and Stones, Jeff Beck, the Yardbirds and Zeppelin, Nuggets compilations and so on, even Mahavishnu Orchestra.

I was walking to the Orange Line from Park St. station on the Boston Commons in 1986 down a side street and this white van jumps a curb, hits its flashers and Steven Tyler jumped out of the back and ran into the Bank of Boston (i think...?) looking like he was on his way somewhere and needed a bunch of hundred dollah bills for... something. His eyes were as big as saucers as he glanced at me with that "I'm not making eye contact i know you know who i am and I have to go ye ye ye ye yheeeeeeeee!". Later I would see him a lot, sometimes with Peter Wolf from J Geils, once with Bebe Buelle and a little girl who i had no idea would later become the queen of Middle Earth.
