This is the best rock singer. I think this is the best male singer. I know it's a sibjective thing. But the guy can hit the g#5 at almost 80 years old. He's got a tremendous vocal range and a lot of agility. He changes notes really fast. He does quiet parts then belts his ass off. My entire singing learning is to try to sing as good as him. It's my major inspiration.
Steven has been a health nut for 30 years or more and this has a lot to do with why he can still sing well. All the technique in the world won't get you past inflammation from aging more quickly on the standard American diet

He's a very rare case of someone whose voice developed and just got better and better as he got older. Once he reached his peak he just decided that he's never coming down. To maintain that level of power, control and range at that age is as rare as it gets. I'm convinced he sold his soul to lucifer at some point. lol. How else to explain it? As you stated, guys like Axel Rose, Vince Neil and others are completely murdering their songs today (and not in a good way) and makes me beg them to just retire. And these guys are 10-15 years younger than Tyler. Another vocalist I feel could have been up there with Tyler had he not died so young was Freddie Mercury. I like to think that he would have still amazed us for a couple of decades more had he lived.

A lot of comments say that age has slowed him or he is not as he was. That may be true at some level.
