Wow, what a wonderful review with such cool guys! 💥 Thank you for this perfect video and the nice vibe! This drum kit sounds really dope! And you're playing very well! Keep it up guys, greetings from Germany! ☺
From what I have seen these are the upgrades from the Alesis Nitro Max: - Module has 160 more sound samples
- Rack uses better screws - Rack is bigger - Rack is more sturdy - 10" Chokeable Ride and Chokeable Crash Cymbal - 8" Dual Zone Tom Pads (from the 8" Single Zone Tom Pads, though the Alesis Nitro Max Module allows a rim sound on Tom 1-4) - Same snare but deeper - 8" Mesh Drum Tower (from the 6" Drum Tower)
Almost sold on this. Just one question: could I program Tom 2 to be the ride with a bell sound on the rim? And change the ride to a crash ride tone? Really considering this kit, so wondering if that is feasible?
I´ve been looking for one without success my friend. I only found the expansion kit for alesis nitro max, and I´m not sure if it fits well. If anybody knows about the expansion kit, let us know, please.
A couple of questions about this Max Pro kit, 1. Why have Alesis decided to put rims on the pads when the Nitro Max had no rims ? And 2. When are Alesis bringing out the expansion kit ?
The Alesis nitro pro have already released the expansion kit I think well I hope so as I’ve just ordered one that says “Alesis Nitro Pro Drum Kit Complete Bundle with Expansion Kit” 🤣
@@kelechukwuekeasi2850 I'm not doubting that to be honest but people have gone out and bought the Nitro Max and Alesis bring out the Nitro Pro, the point is, are Alesis going to produce another kit in the very near future which will be better than the Pro ?
So, steel frame instead of plastic like the Max. Larger frame that can be taller instead of the kids size frame on the Max. Dual zone toms instead of the single zone on the Max. More sounds in the module than the Max. Triple zone snare instead of dual zone on the Max. 8” kick pad instead of the 5” on the Max. All for $200 more than the Max. OK. Seems reasonable. I’m a bit annoyed about this because I’ve had my Nitro Max less than a year.
Good question. I’m betting the Module is which means that the hi hat is going to be unreliable. The Nitro Max isn’t even suitable for jam sessions, let alone gigs because the hi hat is so unreliable.
With the exception of the strike pro se and the new strata, these lower line Alesis modules just can't produce the sounds with the quality of other competitors. Just very unrealistic drum sounds.

I truly appreciate this review especially the side stick part i love this

ia m looking for a electric drum kit comparatively which is better ALESIS OR YAMAHA
WHICH IS LATEST ALESIS NITRO PRO OR YAMAHA DTX 452

Yes
You can add a second tom and a second crash. There's already plugs in the module for it.
Can you load or add third party kit sounds? The stock sounds kinda lack…

Can i ask for the release date ?
how u install to bfd player cant get mine to work
WTF just bought nitro max 2 motns ago
the nitro pro his better than the donner 500?
Not so much a review as a sales pitch. These two lay it on pretty thick. :)
Before people lay their money out on this kit, have Alesis got something else in the pipeline worth waiting for ?
This is worth the ask really

Hated the Max, this seems better, however, I'm not sure that's a deal at that price.
Is the kick drum as poorly designed as it is on the Max?

Rip those who just bought a nitro max lol
Didn’t Alesis go bankrupt in the 90’s?
How is that relevant?
