You did a fantastic job demonstrating this kit! Alesis was smart to have you do it! Of course, your presentation is now going to cost me money since I'll likely buy one now.
Thank you for this!So far, this has been the most thorough and comprehensive demonstration of an electronic drum kit I’ve seen thus far. I’ve read that the kick pedal dampener should face outward and I noticed you flipped the pedals for the double kick pedal demo. Great job overall! This will help me decide on which kit to buy. This one costs more than I wanted to spend, but it looks (and sounds) worth it.
Very detailed and high-quality review! 👍I am thinking about purchasing an electronic drum set (that I can use in my soundproof booth) and your review helped me make my choice. Thank you! I am sure that Alesis Nitro Pro will be a huge success on the market. Greeting from Germany!
Yeah! First?! I love these cheap edrums. I mean, I use them (Millenium, Alesis, Lemon, DIY) with VSTs and there are amazing possibilities. But ... anyway, not everyone has got the computer affinity, like I do - and a high end audio interface. Great stuff, dude. Keep it up!! If you guys have some questions about edrums technical stuff, please give me a comment.
@jamesmoses4066 Basically, you do not need the Scarlett, because you got the module. If you want to use VST, grab a license of EZDrummer3 (or any other drumsample software) and some wired ear buds.
@jamesmoses4066 Basically, you don't need the Scarlett Solo, if you are just using the module. If you buy the Scarlett Solo grab a license of EZDrummer3 and some wired ear buds.
From someone who is a few months learning now, the main issue I find with the Alesis kit that I have is that there is no support for the snare drum, and quite often will come loose and eventually fall out if not constantly adjusted.
As what I've notice... Touch Response is Good. YES you can control the VOLUME but not the ATTACK.. you can still hear the impact of the stick and the snare/cymbals even if youre hitting it softly.
By the time it's been distributed in my country, Alesis would've released another drum kit. Local retailers here sucks so bad, it even took them a whole year just to restock a Nitro Mesh.
Great review. My Nitro Pro kit didn’t come with a user manual for some reason. Are there any tutorial videos that teach me how to use all of the module features?
Sound wise, it has a few better crashes than the Max , which was my only issue with my Max, and it would be nice to have individual eq , but it won't happen at this price point.
You can use headphones or buy a speaker. I guess it depends on if you want to be heard while playing or not. If headphones is the option, try to buy quality one.
I feel like more could’ve been done for this kit. Maybe a hi hat stand, a triple zone cymbal for the ride cymbal. Other than that this is a copy/paste of the Nitro Max but with a bigger kick and and dual zone toms
This one looks good! But it's $599 I got Nitro Max 2 days ago for $340 at Guitar Center. I'll stick with Max and practice a lot. I'm a beginner, so I don't think I need to spend $259 more to get a pro version. 😁
This is a great video however you have set the bass drum beater up incorrectly, the felt side of the beater is not meant to be used on their mesh pads, I have no idea why they provide a beater with a felt side at all. If you check the Alesis website, and even the official promo pictures of the kit you will see the plastic side of the beater being used against the head. Anyone watching this video may now set up their kits incorrectly as the felt side will damage the mesh which is a shame as it may not be replaceable under warranty.
This is almost exactly the same thing as the command x mesh special edition from guitar center, same price too. Guess just updated drum module and slightly deeper snare.
For some reason it wont make any noise 4 me all the plugs are in abd i cant fins a guide to turning it on with the module cuz i think the modules the issue so can anybody help me
When will Alesis learn that a Ride Cymbal MUST have a BELL... We NEED a trigger zone for the BALL of the Ride, as well as edge and Clamp.... C'Mon, it isn't rocket science, Why not hire a dang drummer to help you sort this stuff out, gotta' be a few of 'em hanging' around...

This okay for a big eight year old son?
yep i have decided, i’m getting this for Christmas
How’d it go? 🤘
Alijandro, thank you so much for taking your time to show and tell us about this great sounding e-kit.❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
Great review! Loved how you showed everything and test it!
7:03 Psychosocial 🤘
Just ordered this, I am stoked m8
How’s it been so far?
@@fantasticcactus9174 still holding up amazing. I just wish I could record my sessions T-T

The snare looks and sounds fantastic! 🔥

No, I wrote to slow! :-)
Hey, I'm thinking about gifting my brother this and a Scarlett solo. Anything else I need to give him that the kit doesn't have?

Or any other drumsample library, of course: ML Soundlabs, Mixwave, Hertz Drums. It depends on the genre...
4:46 Around the World by RHCP. Nice.
When I first saw that kit my eyes was straight on the snare looks very unique! 😍😍
oh ffs i just bought nitro max.... like 1 week ago
2 months for me haha
Same hh so not a big deal, i also bought it at january
Mine is being shipped 😢
I got my Nitro max a few months ago and tbh this is the same thing. It’s just a different design
@@maddzyreviews6612 yes and no, this one fits a double pedal with confidence
Very Nice Drum set🎉🎉🎉❤
Hello Alejandro sifuentes greetings from bulgaria

nice job

What's up Alejandro!

i have a roland td-02k but think i need to upgrade too

Love the Psychosocial (I think) at 7:15
Great review. My Nitro Pro kit didn’t come with a user manual for some reason. Are there any tutorial videos that teach me how to use all of the module features?
Una masa la bateria👍
2:38 bless you bro
Try the Strata Prime
Psychosocial @ 7:00 oohhhhh yurrrrrrrr.....
Wow!!!
Is there an Alesis app to go along with this kit??
Bro u should drum cover dancing in the flames by the weeknd using this kit
Is drumming on phone viable?
Yeah you can hit most phone screens with sticks, it’s just a pain cleaning up the glass and trying not to get cut too bad
I JUST got the nitro max 😭
Cool kit, but I’ll ditch the tiny cymbals for my miced up low volume cymbals
The cat is beautiful. 😇
That cat totally photo bombed a couple times! So glad it didn’t pounce onto the kit!😂😂
Sound wise, it has a few better crashes than the Max , which was my only issue with my Max, and it would be nice to have individual eq , but it won't happen at this price point.
How loud are these outside of a room with the door closed?
I was expecting a proper hit hat
Hoping the eventual Alesis Nitro Pro Max will have one 😂
New to this looking to get this as my first kit what’s wrong with it? I’ve never played drums before
@@joshambrose21x nothing is worng with it i love it!
Im torn between this and the simmons 70. Thoughts?
Beginner here looking to get into drums. What else is needed? To produce sound do you need a separate speaker for the sound? How does it work?
You can use headphones or buy a speaker. I guess it depends on if you want to be heard while playing or not. If headphones is the option, try to buy quality one.
when is the release date ?
Can this be “hooked” to other sound banks? The factory ones don’t convince me.
He demonstrates that by the end, where it is hooked up to a computer and BFD.
is it possible to actually add more cymbals to the kit? or even more toms that play different sounds?
Are there any cases, third party is fine, for transporting these kits or is it better to make your own?
I feel like Alesis half-assed the cymbals.
They had opportunity to make them at least dual zone and they just threw the lowest tier ones.
What is the make and model of throne you’re using?
I JUST BOUGHT NITRO MAX ISTG
How is the frame of this kit? I've seen some videos saying the Nitro's frame is very wobbly. Did you have any problems like that?
I’ve seen other reviews saying this frame is way improved from the last version because this one is steel
Its a larger and sturdier kit from the reviews I've seen.
Should I buy the nitro pro or the Crimson II SE?
Alejandro, do you know, is it possible to load your sound like in Roland SPD SX?
Is the module compatible with Strike Pro kick drum and Strike Pro hi-hat??
I feel like more could’ve been done for this kit. Maybe a hi hat stand, a triple zone cymbal for the ride cymbal. Other than that this is a copy/paste of the Nitro Max but with a bigger kick and and dual zone toms
Is there any other kits I should be looking at in the price range or is this the best one?
good thing i got a max a couple months ago
Can you add more cymbals?
Does it have cross stick and rim shot on the snare?
Are the cymbals the same as the nitro max??? So I can expand the alesis pro with the Alesis max parts
Can we connect with the sound speaker 🔊?
can you use the nitro max expansion kit on the nitro pro?
is the ride dual zone
Would you suggest this or the Titan 70? Looking to replace my old dm10 and stuck between those 2
This one is way better tight and 70. I had it. It's OK but not at least it is better.
Does it make too much noise for the neighbours?
Esa caja será compatible con titan 50 de Simmons ?
How's the titan 70 compare to this?
Can we load DAWS with laptop through interface?
Im wondering if you can use the same cymbal from the alesis nitro max on this?
Expected the toms to be 10 inch
All cymbals 12 inches and snare too a 12 inch
Nitro is still Alesis' entry level kit, let's not forget that. We can't expect this to all of a sudden replace something like their Crimson kit
@@memonomoto7419 can even expect 200 bucks extra straight away
@@memonomoto7419 450-499 was a good deal
Does it get John Bonham tone?
This one looks good! But it's $599

I'll stick with Max and practice a lot.
I'm a beginner, so I don't think I need to spend $259 more to get a pro version. 😁
Does it have Latin Percussion sound?
Why can’t they get the toms right?

Al do a give away please!!!
The cables from the cymbals need right angle plugs and to be velcro managed to the stands - they won't stand up to the punishment of the road
You did something the instructions say not to do or it will void the warranty.
Pingin punya drum elektrik tapi belum bisa beli 😔😢.
Why??
Hello, may I ask you, DONNER DED-200 MAX or Alesis Nitro pro, which one is better?
I have the same question! Read the reviews that offer pros and cons. Some sellers have crappy customer service so that’s one thing to consider.
🎆
7:10 i see what you did there slipknot fan
Bro, send me one. I can't effort drum set. I need it for my career
WARNING: I have an Alesis E Drum kit (not this model) and I have come to learn that the foot pedals will give out over time due to wiring issues.
How is $600 cheap?
In the market of electric sets, that’s very cheap tbh
Compared to 3k,$600 is cheap
This kit costs 799€ in Germany. So no thanks.
450-490 was okay

It literally has a bell sound, 8:54
It looks good but for 2024 most of the sounds are pretty bad, the snare sounds ok but the choke cymbal sounds terrible!!!
Man these samples are utter garbage
The only thing I hate about this kit is the absolute garbage hihat. That pedal is cheap and unresponsive.
Sounds absolutely terrible, wtf.
All this tells me is that the Alesis Strata Prime will eventually have a Pro version. Thanks
Sound is not that great.👎
awfull sounds, as usual with Alesis !!
