    I do the same for Vito springs (those are extremely tall springs, normal compressors don't have a hope of compressing them enough. I compress, ratchet strap them, then re-compress, then fit. Otherwise, you're struggling.

    Great video Thankyou. Looks like I’ve lost the plastic cap off the top of the spring. Will the rubber alone hold it in?

      Hi Matt, thanks for the feedback. No, is the answer to your question, I wouldn't risk it. From memory there are locator features between the rubber and the plastic and between the plastic and the chassis which make sure everything stays in place. The consequences of your spring coming out of place are far greater than the cost (& delay) of getting a new part.

      @@matthinde6290 As much as it pains me Matt, I just go to the dealer for that sort of thing as it's unlikely you'll get an aftermarket item.

    Clean the bolst with wire brush first, than use wd40
