This caught me by surprise, especially since Soundblaster was a Wal-Mart exclusive and those are usually repaints/remolds. Also, I love how Soundblaster's voice editor sounded better than Soundwaves.
I do like Soundblaster's personality because he sounds like a crime boss.

Andrew Denness actually you’re close, when Soundwave was projecting his avatar in the Autobots minds he was using different color schemes, some of which made him resemble Soundblaster. But it was only for a few seconds

Probably was meant to be subservient to Shockwave, or look and act exactly like the original. Both didn't happen, so he failed both those objectives.

@@gault6546 It's obvious given that Arcee, who had appearances throughout Season 3 after the 86 film, had more prominence than Moonracer, who appeared in only one episode of Season 2 (the same episode that had Chromia and Elita-One).

I had already heard of soundblaster in a transformers basics video, so seeing him in person was a dream come true! I love how they changed his backstory to a failed soundwave clone, similar somewhat to mewtwo’s origins.

It could also be a nod to Cliffjumper from War For Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, seeing as Cliff was a clone of Bumblebee in those games.

Man, a transformer being a mafia kingpin is the most badass thing I've ever seen
The Transformers brand can be stronger than just the billion dollar making Bay films if they flesh out the characters more,appeal to adults with slightly more mature shows like this and keep using the old designs to give a sense of brand synergy.A bonus would be to step into different media than just movies and TV like the war for Cybertron games those are beloved games.
Ikr, I would love to play a game similar to the Cybertron games.
Continuously using the old designs will get you know, old. People are already getting tired of seeing the same G1 style figures over and over. That’s why they made bayformers look so different. And when people got old of that they went back to g1, but the cycle will repeat itself.

What about the transformer anime continuities (beast wars second, Rid, and the unicron trilogy, plus the WFC trilogy)
Transformers Prime exists. It doesn’t use the G1 designs, but that’s for the better. Kind of sick of G1 at this point.
@@Dualbladedscorpion7737 I don’t think anyone watched the Japanese cartoons so I’d hardly call them popular. Same with the Unicron trilogy. Armada was somewhat popular but lost popularity later on because of true innovation

I love SoundBlaster more than Soundwave in this series, but don’t get me wrong Soundwave is still my favorite Decepticon
Sonic the Hedgehog /Cobalt Blurr soundwave from transformers prime is op and that specific version of him will always be my favorite decepticon
@@thiccman4458 I think the design is okay, and the silent but deadly thing is also pretty cool. But you can't beat the g1 look IMO. It's just so iconic.

This is literally one of the best versions of Soundblaster, literally bows to no one. Imagine if they added Sunstorm into the series as a clone of Starscream. I think he would be the Transformers Version of The Joker, particularly a mix of Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson voiced by a voice actor I highly recommend for the role: Cameron Monaghan with his Joker Voice (Jeremiah Valeska from Gotham)
I loved this, this is how they should do soundblaster from now on.
Ask, and ye shall receive. In the first Transformers: Cyberverse movie, they brought the mercenaries with Soundblaster! He's even partnered with Buzzsaw.

This was the first time I've ever seen soundblaster in anything so this is basically a new transformers for me.

Shockwave has reused some of Soundwave's parts, as well as some other new parts, and reconstructed another Soundwave. And renamed him *NEW SOUNDWAVE!*

I wish we saw more of Soundblaster.
Considering this version of the character was released twice and both times they were some kind of exclusive it's not surprising we didn't get that much of him but on the flip side bumblebee was an exclusive too and he plays a pretty pivotal role in this Netflix show.
Definitely would’ve liked seeing him just show up in kingdom as one of the soul survivors on cybertron
If Soundwave was black and acted like The Godfather.
Super cool that not only did they bring back the obscure Soundwave remold and make him a new character but also give him Buzzsaw, who was Soundwave’s original partner (The only cassette his first toy was packaged with) before Lazerbeak took over that role

Thanks for this video. My favorite part of this Netflix series. Im glad this version of SB isn’t SW. Plus, I like Bumblebee explaining to the others of not comparing, yet Soundblaster mentions that Soundwave isn’t the only one with eyes in the sky. I look forward to the next season especially with him included.

I don't get how can anyone like any Arcee besides Tf Prime, because mostly she's just there and the pink doesn't look badass, while Tf Prime Arcee has a dark emotional backstory and actually is one of the best Autobots in the show.

I love how they decided to make Soundblaster an actual character with a unique personality. I've never been a fan of how he's always just been a rebuilt version of Soundwave.
Really love the huge difference between him, Blaster and Soundwave. After seeing this series, not only was I surprised Cyberverse got another season but the fact that SoundBlaster and his mercenaries made a return in that version and still had a grudge against Soundwave for different reasons.

Was this guy really such a big shot that neither the Autobots nor the Decepticons could just mount a raid for his energon?
Maybe his forces were just tough enough that attacking would be disasterous for either the Autobots or Decepticons.

This is the first time I've heard of Soundblaster, but he is a really cool character.
The glitchy, inconsistent voice, the heavy "breathing," and what appeared to be strain from firing that lone blast, he really does seem like a failed science project. Kudos to whomever designed him like this

@Konstantins Zelcs Nintendo franchise, medieval fantasy, strategy game of the year, bane of Smash players everywhere. The voice actors for Bumblebee in this is the same who voiced one of the major characters in the latest entry Three Houses.

In the headmasters series, after soundwave was destroyed, Soundblaster was created replacing him and fought alongside with Galvatron throughout the whole Headmasters series.

Who agrees the inadequate voice-acting worked in Soundblaster's favor?
It kind of confused me how energon seems to be much smaller. I mean, three cylinders of energon is a lot? All they needed to jumpstart the ark was two rocks of impure energon? Idk, the scale of energon seemed larger in other series.
Maybe they did had more, and these cylinders were just some part of thousands of energon?

The way Soundblaster stares quietly at Bumblebee makes me wonder if he has Soundwave's mind reading abilities or maybe he's considered a failed clone because he doesn't...
I really enjoyed the show and I think his inclusion is one of the highlights.

Soundblaster has traditionally just been an in-universe rebuilt Soundwave with a black paintjob. In addition, while he was part of the toy line it was only as an exclusive for the 35th Anniversary. So not many saw it coming when Soundblaster showed up as an entirely separate, albeit cloned, and distinct character from Soundwave Soundblaster is now a failed clone of Soundwave turned Energon dealer, rather than an upgrade of Soundwave himself as in Transformers: ★Headmasters. This isn't the first time this has happened, but it's the first case to be depicted in Western Animation
An intriguing new take on what is usually a forgettable repaint/upgrade of soundwave. Though it bothers me that none of the characters in this series are capable of emoting much
I like the concept a lot more for sound blaster here then I do with him being a reborn soundwave

I think Soundblaster got a inferiority complex about himself. Excluding him, existence of other repaint characters kind of make sense. If we take into account that how Cybertronians are created or born. Lots of them have same body type maybe because their is a class. Starscream and his seekers belong to Aerial military class, Megatron and Impactor to manual labor class,Arcee and Elita /Moon racer and Chormia(Delivery class) have same body so does prowl and barricade ( Law enforcement). Cliff jumper and Bee has same body type they are also belong to some class. So does Ultra Magnus and Optimus (Multiple job offers) before magnus got that blue armor.

Furion Max never watched g1?
In the 80's G1 Headmasters series that only aired in Japan(but it's been released on DVD here now), Early on in the series, Soundwave had a 1-on-1 battle with Blaster(called Broadcast in japan) where they both died. Then a couple episodes, both sides' Headmasters revived them in new bodies as Soundblaster and Twincast.
I find that Soundblaster is a bit more menacing than his “counterpart” Soundwave

Fun fact: in Galaxy force he was just Logos Prime in disguise so bee saying he’s a bit crazy actually makes sense, like at any point in time he could’ve taken This soundblasters place and no one would know

@Konstantins Zelcs Yes, I read that G.I. Joe crossover comic where Arcee and Bee had a crush on each other. But then Bumblebee died due to Cobra crushing him while Arcee was forced to watch.

I was so excited to see Soundblaster appear in the show and even happier now that I got him
