The Starscream of this continuity maybe be like his G1 counterpart but this one does actually care about his people and wanted to seize power because he believed he was the only one who could do what is necassary or that he was in the right. This is why he did what he did, because he ultimately does care about his people.
yes. In this way he's like in Armada. But a little more treacherous! I love that he also really cares not to be weak, he not just likes to be the best and egoistically thinking that he is. But he is afraid that he might be, he is hesitant and wants to do everything to actually be good enough.
He was like this even in the 2005 IDW comic continuity too. But he was a bit more troubled in that. As in having to constantly build up trust and trying to connect with Megs, only for Megs to systematically crush that bridge of trust every time, which made Screamer react with treason, all because that Screamer's backstabbing reaction kept Megs in top shape. Until Screamer had enough of the abuse, humiliation and war and broke the cycle by becoming King. But he still beat himself over and made mistakes due his war time paranoia and isolation.
Perhaps it was Unicron messing with the innermost bits of Megatron's psyche and preying on his fear of becoming a slave. Seems pretty god of chaos-esque
Exactly because Unicron is the very personification of death and evil itself, and every single act of violence every war, every cruelty gives him life the life he’ll use to kill them all. Starscream realized that if they don’t stop this war then they are culpable to their own annihilation.
Honestly strascream usually does a better job as a good guy then he does as a villain. Look up the comics and more often then not whenever he does stuff for the whole rather then himself he does it with a bang
the line ' You can't do anything right Starscream!' Megatron voice sounds like breaking, like on the verge of tears. He sounded upset. I do think he is the best in this series
God, yes. I think in this sense it also has some kind of a double meaning imo. I mean, we know that he thinks Starscream to be incapable of basically anything, generally. But now he hears him reiterate what the Golden Disc has told him already, including the things he probably didn't want to hear ("If we had only worked together") AND then he drops the bomb of him being Galvatron. So...Starscream basically citing the Golden Disc back to him is actually a good thing and probably something he knows he needed to hear. But together with this whole "You're Galvatron and will be a slave again" it's just like... Yeah, well, even by doing it right Starscream does it wrong, because it hurts Megatron so damn much to hear it. Anyway, I love this scene :D
If Megatron was less angry, he would have had the sense to blast Starscream's wings first. Luckily, for Starscream, he's... Starscream so he has a knack for infuriating Megatron. At the same time, there are few things worse than an enraged Megatron.
Honestly this is probably the most well-acted and best scene in the entire war for Cybertron trilogy and I have nothing to say it's just cool and badass
I can’t say he became a good guy. He’s the same character he has always been, a self preservation character. He knows even if Unicron lets him live, he will still die. He sees there is only one way for him to survive and that is for autobots and decepticons teaming up. He’s a coward and also someone who doesn’t want to die.

Always been a fan with tank Megatron. It's like a gun, but one where no one needs to pull the trigger for him and he can move about in that form himself. Vehicle and animal forms are the most practical forms, unless you're a target master partner. I wonder if they'll later focus on target masters and power masters, while I could never understand the reason for head masters, unless the body is controlled by the head.
Starscream is my all-time favorite Decepticon and this version of him had a combination of both his G1 and Armada counterparts. He is treacherous with Megatron but also cares for his comrades (mostly to the rest of his fellow seekers but you get my point) this Starscream definitely became one of my favorites, big 👍🏽 up!
1:39 I wish that Starscream had the firepower to use his own arm cannons and straight up kill Megatron first for once. Love how they highlighted Air Commander Starscream’s unique ability to fly
Even though I knew of the twist & it was very obvious, I actually felt it when Starscream revealed it to Megs. It actually felt like a powerful moment.
This might not be most perfect show in parts.. but u know what ive loved this from day dot.. it actually has lessons in this trilogy for our actions i love it when u think 🤔 after watching something..
He has seen what the Chaos Bringer is capable of. All I see a infinite nadir of a murmuring void ,all you can do is gaze at its addictive emptiness before it finally consumes you.
When Megatron said "I am a weapon" in an earlier scene I completely forgot he was a tank and thought he was gonna turn into the Walther P38 and hyped myself up only to be severely disappointed
I just noticed something In the series most seekers would die if their alt mode got hit (example: skywarp, several seekers who were lightly shot at) Starscream managed to tank a whole elephant crashing at him face-first and even land safely after. Indeed, he can fly
G1 starscream: megatron has fal oh wait he didn’t Wfc starscream: I was attempting to dispose him but when I read from the disk I realised it’s time for a change not been the future of the leader or power I need to stop his madness and save the future
The reason why Starscream is, was, and always will be my favorite Transformer: As his available options and resources go down, his threat level _skyrockets._ Remember the time he was stuck in the past of Earth with no way to replenish energy, so he managed to kejigger a turbine to charge himself and invented gunpowder for the humans to use? Remember when he was kicked out of the Decepticons, and within like three days had built an army and overthrown Megatron? Remember when he was straight-up _dead,_ but was able to trick _Unicron himself_ into giving him a new body and then screwed over Unicron?
0:05 Bayverse Jazz: C'mon, Decepticon punk! 1:35-1:48 Megatron: You can't do anything right, Starscream! Starscream: I... can fly! Stan Bush (singing): It's time to take a stand! You can win if you Dare! DARE!!! TV Trope of The Day: Sanity has Advantages When Megatron learned the horrifying truth that he'll be reborn a slave, he started to undergo even more Sanity Slippage, and madness as we all know is like gravity, all it took for Starscream to win in that situation was remembering his flight capabilities and a little PUSH!

You know that your doing something wrong when it's starscream out of all bots who is trying to be moral
This reminds me of Armada Starscream willing to do the right thing to help others.
Its beautiful see starscream save the day, the autobots and defeat Megatron!
1:39 I wish that Starscream had the firepower to use his own arm cannons and straight up kill Megatron first for once.
Love how they highlighted Air Commander Starscream’s unique ability to fly
Killing Megatron is literally the last thing Starscream wants in this case.
The best weapon and tactic is using the unexpected.
"I can fly."
Harold the Helicopter from Adult Swim: And I took that very personally.
I cant believe my eyes.
Based Starscream
This series in particular out of the trilogy was just amazing 😍
Starscream channeling his inner Armada.
😉
"And that was the end of Megatron"

I believe Starscream about Unicron
@@BasedVegeta Good to know, Starscream 👍 !!!
@@BasedVegeta for once, you did the right thing
@@BasedVegeta that's partially because Unicron actually took the time to acknowledge you.
@@BasedVegeta of course you're right, you're always a great leader.
ALL HAIL STARSCREAM!!
I believe too
He has seen what the Chaos Bringer is capable of. All I see a infinite nadir of a murmuring void ,all you can do is gaze at its addictive emptiness before it finally consumes you.
“I…can fly”
Megatron:( 😳 )
Yeah, I think he kind of forgot starscream could do that. Or he was trying to be TOO dramatic.
starscream just yeeted megatron off the ship. What a power move.
G1 with a hint of Armada. Noice.
Hooray for starscream as he did not get shot by Megatron again.
Happy that serie gave starcream cool moments
Smart Starscream
@@BasedVegeta yes and no
@@megatron9183 so what are you going to do about Unicron when he shows up.
@@chadpeterson5698 attack him or see what he is to bargain. But I will definitely become someone
Amazing how a meh series like this, could give us such an amazing Starscream
When Megatron said "I am a weapon" in an earlier scene I completely forgot he was a tank and thought he was gonna turn into the Walther P38 and hyped myself up only to be severely disappointed

Starscream was a autobot station commander on the transformers war for cybertron game
He was.
@@SaffronicSaffron Galvatron Future Of Megatron
@@Megamus643AlphaofLife ok
@@SaffronicSaffron yes in the game
I'm sure netflix will create season 4 of transformers: war for cybertron trilogy
I hope so !!! The story of Unicron must have an end, maybe in a movie.
@@infinitepowerTF Thats what im expecting to happen, a movie
@Grace Y trilogies can get a movie too
@@mattgamer0846 Exactly !!! Look Transformers Prime, for example. It had 3 seasons, and ended with a movie (Predacons Rising).
Love that Starscream is the one doing good for everyone and he pulled a Zeta Gundam move on Megatron
"I can fly" IS the Line if been waiting for him to say since the begining
The return of Armada Starscream
You know what that is? Growth
Unfortunately it took a mild existential breakdown to do it.
And fear
And we love it 🤩
MEGATRON: YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT STARSCREAM!😠😡
STARSCREAM: I....CAN FLY😎
SAVAGE LINE FOR THE CHARACTER!!!!!!
I just noticed something
In the series most seekers would die if their alt mode got hit (example: skywarp, several seekers who were lightly shot at)
Starscream managed to tank a whole elephant crashing at him face-first and even land safely after.
Indeed, he can fly
G1 starscream: megatron has fal oh wait he didn’t
Wfc starscream: I was attempting to dispose him but when I read from the disk I realised it’s time for a change not been the future of the leader or power I need to stop his madness and save the future
1:43 The only time Starscream beats Megatron by doing what he does best: _running away._
It’s good to see Starscream with some real self efficacy
This was such a cool scene in the show, my favorite imo
No cap, Starscream speaks the truth… he can FLY, and he’s the best at it.
Starscream finally gets one over on Megatron.
Ok, I don’t care what people say about this series, I just love this version of star scream
Megatron: Then it's me who kills you in the movie?
Starscream: Uh... Noooooo....
I wish we could have gotten the soundtrack that played in this scene. I can tell through the talking that it’s really good.
Starscream stopped Megatron and he stand up to him and I like that he can fly
Yeah he can fly
Holy shit, Starscream actually got a badass moment for once.
The reason why Starscream is, was, and always will be my favorite Transformer:
As his available options and resources go down, his threat level _skyrockets._
Remember the time he was stuck in the past of Earth with no way to replenish energy, so he managed to kejigger a turbine to charge himself and invented gunpowder for the humans to use?
Remember when he was kicked out of the Decepticons, and within like three days had built an army and overthrown Megatron?
Remember when he was straight-up _dead,_ but was able to trick _Unicron himself_ into giving him a new body and then screwed over Unicron?
Wow the pain in Megatron voice
I know! That was a genuine voice crack
He was shaken by what starsceam said
@@Collectorofcoolness it's Megatron's worst nightmare come back to life.
The fanfare for both Starscream and Dinobot is perfect. I need to marathon this series at some point in the future.
I love this heroic Starscream❤
Me too !!!
Smart Starscream, using your flight to get the upper hand
Watching Megatron react to the truth of his inevitable fate makes the entirety of his meeting with Unicron in the original film hit different now.
This made me think of Armada Starscream
Is it me or is this the best Starscream
I think its the best starscream 👌 !!!
This and armada are great starscream
@@blueraccoon1088
I wonder what Michael Dobson-Armada Starscream thought of this scene?
0:05
Bayverse Jazz: C'mon, Decepticon punk!
1:35-1:48
Megatron: You can't do anything right, Starscream!
Starscream: I... can fly!
Stan Bush (singing): It's time to take a stand! You can win if you Dare! DARE!!!
TV Trope of The Day: Sanity has Advantages
When Megatron learned the horrifying truth that he'll be reborn a slave, he started to undergo even more Sanity Slippage, and madness as we all know is like gravity, all it took for Starscream to win in that situation was remembering his flight capabilities and a little PUSH!
Megatron, He's telling the truth of you were Galvatron in your timeline.
