well wasnt that omega supreme like technically a titan to? the idea of the ARK being a transformer isnt entirely new considering theres a canon where theres a city-class transformer as a spaceship just vibing about with its cybertronians prob sstill in there old forms..
Many were already in the ark + the conversion to the new alternate form + transformation would’ve taken way too long and by then the space bridge would have closed

I'd wager that if anything, in another timeline when Metroplex gave his spark to the Ark, it actually transferred from his original body to the ship. Metroplex's spark fusing with the Ark and Teletraan-1 resulted in Metroplex being reborn as Autonomous Maximus
I like how the ark moves really slow due to its size, remember this thing is like the size of a mountain in robot mode. It’s movements feel powerful, the moment it’s fist collides with the nemesis, you can feel the impact it makes
I know it's late but Its also probably because Teletran himself is adjusting to this new form by like, taking slow yet devastating movements as to not overexert himself probably
On one hand this is maybe the most blatant toy commercial since th original movie in '86. But on the other hand.... it's freakin' amazing! And well made.
It's a case of knowing it's a toy commercial, but you don't really care cause the writing and visuals are just that good. Beast wars, Cybertron, Animated and Prime are good examples of this.
I have seen so many mega transformers in since Transformers G1 came out in 1984, but seeing TelTran 1 change into a mega transformer like Omega Supreme was awesome sight.

There was an explanation. As he said, he (Teletraan 1) had been secretly making modifications to the Ark in order to give himself a last resort transformation option. But without the Allspark, there was no power.

Metroplex is way to big to do that ...and also he was designed for another purpose .and ordered to fill that ..because of him the autobots succeeded
