First animation short film! Ever since the servers were shut down, I've been searching for ways to possibly continue these type of videos and Blender seemed to be the best choice with it's flexibility and quality. I'm no animator so I commissioned some help for this one. Big thank you to Watcher for the primary animations, Cyberwave for creating the environments/helping with secondary animations, and WKAC for ripping/porting the models seamlessly into Blender! We did our very best to make it look like the game abd keep the spirit of these videos alive with my signature Machinima style. Though Soundwave doesn't show emotion, but you can tell that he's sad deep down and wanted to cure the original Megatron, but yet their is no other way to save him only death. I love the Nemesis Prime series, keep it up man you're doing really great!
Soundwave also have to live with the knowledge of knowing how the true Megatron's legacy ends. While he did essentially clone Megatron, he still has to feel shame over not being able to cure the real Megatron, and knowing how that legacy ends. Gladiator of Kaon, revolutionary leader, creator of the Decepticons, Warlord of Cybertron, all to be laid low by an autobot corruption, and reduced to a mumbling wreck of his former self. He may have restored his leader in the form of a copy, but Soundwave will never be free of the fact that he failed the real Megatron. The only comfort Soundwave can find in all this, is that he ended the real Megatron before his date and humiliation could be made known.
The sight of all these positive responses to my Soundwave voice keeps me going in the Transformers VA field. Thank you, all of you, and amazing work as always, Johnny!

I love how you can handle comedy and drama and do it so well. The Johnnyverse has become one of my favorite Transformers continuities, even if its not official.
I think I might know why Megatron ended up like this after wheel jack shot him with that thing. Megatron’s morality was reversed but not his memories so now he sees all these terrible things that he did with his own hands and actions and now with the reversed morality is it’s unbearable to him The reason nemesis doesn’t have the same reaction is because he just thinks he was being stupid and fighting on the wrong side his actions weren’t World shattering to him just a mistake. I love the storyline that you created Johnny keep it up
I’m not even a quarter of the way through the video yet, but the 3 minutes and 14 seconds of it that a have watched so far has reinforced my view of Soundwave being the Decepticons incarnation of loyalty.

Johnny be out here blessing us with this wonderful content. It says a lot when you can almost see Soundwave's pain as he put the original Megatron down when he doesn't have a face to begin with. A+ voice acting and directing right there.
We never thought of soundwave having feelings but we now see him have feelings to not take an order this is a entire new perspective to a character so mysterious I love it!
So wait... this isn't being done completely in the game anymore is it? Cause the lighting and textures are spot on! Terrific job guys! I love this episode! They keep getting more and more interesting. Awesome saga overall. This series deserves to be a movie more than all of bayformers combined.
Because the online servers for the Cybertron games were shut down, this is likely how the story of Nemesis Prime will conclude through Blender animation, and I must say it looks pretty promising :)

Maybe the new Megatron will realize that he isn't the original Megatron and after seeing the OG Megatron he would decided that he is much stronger and maybe he will reform himself into Galvatron ?
Imagine if ideas like this were actually canon. Megatron going insane and actually cowering in prison, Soundwave "resurrecting" Megatron by creating a clone of him. This series just keep getting better and better, and I'm happy to be able to view it
Near the end Soundwave was getting a tiny bit emotional. I think while the Corruptor did not change him to Autobot it must've did something to his emotion inhibitors hence what we saw. What you did Johnny was awesome and made me now respect Soundwave.
Are we just going to ignore the fact that the wheel Jack is the one that's behind all of this I mean he did first shoot Optimus Prime and then other people like Megatron so we just have to shoot all affected and problem finished you're welcome
That's highly unlikely seeing how smart Nemesis Prime is. He would destroy the Cyber-Corruptor from the moment he went a rampage so there would be nothing standing his way.
This was truly amazing . It shoock me a bit , since it made me fell a bit empathetic for Soundwave , someone who we just think is a emotionless badass , like Michael Myers . Again , great job .
That was very well done All these months waiting I’ve never expected the next in this nemesis prime series to be so well created. Everything you’ve done (Including the other featured in your videos) have been really good but this is another level, pretty sure many agree with this though and I’m one of the hundreds if not thousands of people saying this

@@gagefarris I doubt it. Optimus killed him in dark of the moon and I think primes are more powerful than almost any transformer. One of the exceptions being megatron probably cause he was trained by the fallen.

Because Lord Megatron was corrupted, thus reversing his entire thought process, he went from being one of the bravest bots to one of the most cowardly bots. Adding Dark Energon into the mix would destroy him completely. If you remember from WFC, the slightest bit of Dark Energon will destroy any bot whom it deems unworthy, it will destroy; for instance, no Autobot can touch D. E. Neither can most Decepticons it will destroy and dominate everything except the strongest. This is why I believe it would destroy the corrupted Megatron. Edit: thanks to @B1G breezzzy I now think the one that D. E. deems worthy is able to pass a portion to someone else. This would be why only Megatron could use it on the doors and power up his army, but no one else could.

Since Shockwave has gone completely mad and broken, Logic never existed. All that remains is an empty husk that just lives for chaos, destruction, fear, and some hatred (remember all those arm jokes? Yeah, now his hate is Soundwave level strong)
I love these animations. But this is one is really good. I love the emotion that Soundwave has signifying that he truly cares about Megatron, it’s just how I picture Soundwave and this was done right. Props to you Johnny.

This some next-level game animation there and that is amazing. You guys got me hooked and didn't blink to miss anything good in the video, the atmosphere, tension, and story is the greatest I have ever seen in a Transformers fan film. I hope you guys keep up the good work and the story plot to be good.
@@ElectricDrago1996 yeah but he explains himself that it’s effects weren’t as pronounced Which makes sense because in the aligned continuity at least soundwave isn’t a normal Cybertronian because his brain module actually has capabilities similar to an actual computer while the normal Cybertronian brain module is well closer to a human brain. Essentially whatever affect it did have have on him was only temporary and he was eventually able to reverse it.
So I actually just discovered War For/ Fall of Cybertron and have been having a blast with them. So it's very coincidental that I also find this at the same time. And it's fantastic! Thanks for keeping these games alive!

Given how Starscream was effected by the cyber corruptor, I honestly feel like if he does end up reappearing in this Nemesis Prime story that he'd likely be much like his Armada counterpart in terms of personality. And personally I think that's something that would be pretty cool to see, especially if he's portrayed in a more heroic light much like Starscream near the end of Armada.
I know what happened with Optimus and Megatron was really dark and I absolutely love the tone of these shorts, but I'm kind of hoping that the effects on Starscream and Breakdown are going to stay comical, with starscream just being hilariously nice to everyone and Breakdown just prancing around while happy music plays. As for Shockwave I can see it going either way but a mix of both could work really well.
this looks absolutely amazing, it's a defendant improvement over what was before. I personally can see a lot more emotion come out of the characters when they aren't as stiff as they were before. But the way you made all of your shorts films before in-game is still really cool and shows that you don't need to be an animator to make a fan made stories. My only personal problem with this video, is that some of the models (mainly the Path Blaster) was very low on polygons, so it ended up looking a bit blurry. But I'll bet in the next short film/animation that you'll do, you will have looked into this little problem.
The comedy of your production is fantastic, but when you go for serious storyline good grief, you are fantastic. It's clear from this episode just how far Soundwave is willing to go for Megatron, and just how strong his emotions are. I really hope sometime you can continue this story.
Still holding out strong for the next chapter in this epic fan story, I miss when this channel was still alive man. I'm more ready than ever now that the fan servers of this game are up. Hell, I'd even become a body actor if that's what it took!
Really enjoying the writing that's going into this series. That moment where soundwave said "please", never thought I'd see the day that he would say that, but it felt justified. Also loving the animation, really allows for more ways to tell this story. Keep up the good work!
Talk about a bad case of PTSD. It kinda makes you feel bad for Megatron, getting so badly confused and losing his mind, no wonder he begged Soundwave to end him. Shame what War can do to people.
I absolutely love Soundwave he's loyal to Megatron to the end like that's why he's my favorite Decepticon out of all of them in a way I do like some others but Soundwave is the true Decepticon in my eyes always been my favorite since I was 7 years old watching G1 on RUclips back in 07.

@@brawmankerlexterminateurde860 well... I disagree. Dark Energon is, tricky to say the least. Because Lord Megatron was corrupted, thus reversing his entire thought process, he went from being one of the bravest bots to one of the most cowardly bots. Adding Dark Energon into the mix would destroy him completely. If you remember from WFC, the slightest bit of Dark Energon will destroy any bot whom it deems unworthy, it will destroy; for instance, no Autobot can touch D. E. Neither can most Decepticons it will destroy and dominate everything except the strongest. This is why I believe it would destroy the corrupted Megatron.
Edit: thanks to @B1G breezzzy I now think the one that D. E. deems worthy is able to pass a portion to someone else. This would be why only Megatron could use it on the doors and power up his army, but no one else could.
Soundwave would have did that if it would work.

This some next-level game animation there and that is amazing. Which makes sense because in the aligned continuity at least soundwave isn’t a normal Cybertronian because his brain module actually has capabilities similar to an actual computer while the normal Cybertronian brain module is well closer to a human brain.
Essentially whatever affect it did have have on him was only temporary and he was eventually able to reverse it.

Given how Starscream was effected by the cyber corruptor, I honestly feel like if he does end up reappearing in this Nemesis Prime story that he'd likely be much like his Armada counterpart in terms of personality. And personally I think that's something that would be pretty cool to see, especially if he's portrayed in a more heroic light much like Starscream near the end of Armada.
The emotional weight on this is amazing.
And the animation was actually pretty good. I was expecting janky movement, but y'all blew my mind.
IMO, this is probably the best what happened to Transformers on screen since TFPrime. I would watch a legit series from you, really.
I know what happened with Optimus and Megatron was really dark and I absolutely love the tone of these shorts, but I'm kind of hoping that the effects on Starscream and Breakdown are going to stay comical, with starscream just being hilariously nice to everyone and Breakdown just prancing around while happy music plays. As for Shockwave I can see it going either way but a mix of both could work really well.

2 years on and this is still some of the greatest independent TF content I've ever seen
this looks absolutely amazing, it's a defendant improvement over what was before. I personally can see a lot more emotion come out of the characters when they aren't as stiff as they were before. But the way you made all of your shorts films before in-game is still really cool and shows that you don't need to be an animator to make a fan made stories.
My only personal problem with this video, is that some of the models (mainly the Path Blaster) was very low on polygons, so it ended up looking a bit blurry. But I'll bet in the next short film/animation that you'll do, you will have looked into this little problem.
The comedy of your production is fantastic, but when you go for serious storyline good grief, you are fantastic.
It's clear from this episode just how far Soundwave is willing to go for Megatron, and just how strong his emotions are.
I really hope sometime you can continue this story.
Still holding out strong for the next chapter in this epic fan story, I miss when this channel was still alive man. I'm more ready than ever now that the fan servers of this game are up. Hell, I'd even become a body actor if that's what it took!
Really enjoying the writing that's going into this series. That moment where soundwave said "please", never thought I'd see the day that he would say that, but it felt justified. Also loving the animation, really allows for more ways to tell this story. Keep up the good work!

Talk about a bad case of PTSD. It kinda makes you feel bad for Megatron, getting so badly confused and losing his mind, no wonder he begged Soundwave to end him. Shame what War can do to people.
I absolutely love Soundwave he's loyal to Megatron to the end like that's why he's my favorite Decepticon out of all of them in a way I do like some others but Soundwave is the true Decepticon in my eyes always been my favorite since I was 7 years old watching G1 on RUclips back in 07.

The compelling music, incredible voice preformence, emotional writing and the story of The Nemesis Series is nothing short of amazing. It really is a shame the FoC servers are down but this is some of best story I've seen in a long time. You guys are nothing short of breath taking, good job :)
