The only reason the Decepticon cause worked at this point is the ruthlessness of Soundwave, the unmatched intellect of Shockwave, and the sheer damn willpower of Megatron.
Don't forget the bots doing most of the work vehicons (the purple car and jet transformers). The vehicons are pretty competent at mining, building, and maintaining their ship. If only (they) got better training and weapons.

The Decepticons have precisely two brain cells between them. One is for Soundwave’s personal used and the other one is passed around like a hacky sack. When Shockwave rejoined the Decepticons Soundwave breathed a sigh of relief because he hoped the Decepticons were getting a third brain cell to work with, but unfortunately they just got another person to fight over the second instead.
I love how ko only called Starscream by his title in the beginning but later it was always just 'Starscream' and Starscream didn't even seem to mind anymore
Starscream gained a substantial amount of humility after being given a second chance to command the decepticons by Megatron. It was one of his subtle yet interesting developments as a character over the show's run.
I like to think he had a crush on Knockout and that's why he actually does anything with him but never anyone else. He just likes to be with him and definitely liked the compliment but maybe was caught off guard so didn't know how to respond.
I forgot just how hilarious those two are. The banter between them is just so well written. I think it helped that they were both egotistical cowards. And K.O. referring to using dark energon as "voodoo" just perfectly shows how dramatic he can be.

The only reason the Decepticon cause worked at this point is the ruthlessness of Soundwave, the unmatched intellect of Shockwave, and the sheer damn willpower of Megatron.
Don't forget the bots doing most of the work vehicons (the purple car and jet transformers).
The vehicons are pretty competent at mining, building, and maintaining their ship. If only (they) got better training and weapons.

The Decepticons have precisely two brain cells between them. One is for Soundwave’s personal used and the other one is passed around like a hacky sack. When Shockwave rejoined the Decepticons Soundwave breathed a sigh of relief because he hoped the Decepticons were getting a third brain cell to work with, but unfortunately they just got another person to fight over the second instead.

I like to think he had a crush on Knockout and that's why he actually does anything with him but never anyone else. He just likes to be with him and definitely liked the compliment but maybe was caught off guard so didn't know how to respond.
I forgot just how hilarious those two are. The banter between them is just so well written. I think it helped that they were both egotistical cowards. And K.O. referring to using dark energon as "voodoo" just perfectly shows how dramatic he can be.

@@geonite2072 yeah that was honestly one of the reasons I liked Knockout better than Starscream. don't get me wrong I love them both but Starscream was constantly afraid of taking the blame for things, while I don't think Knockout ever actually outright lied to Megatron's face. sure he plotted with Starscream sometimes but he also actually admitted his failures to Megatron directly instead of Megatron having to find out about them from Soundwave or someone else (as was the case with many of Starscream's failures)

@@Arceus810 the IDW comics are some of my favorite transformers media. specifically the More Than Meets the Eye comics. if you want to get into any transformers comics, i would highly recommend them. i dont think you need to have much transformers comics knowledge to understand the plot of that series. and theres also a sister comic series to it called Robots in Disguise that i believe (i havent read it yet) is basically the same world and story taking place, but following what other characters are doing at a different location.
