But here is Nemesis, unchanged, not just a con, but someone that wants to end everything, acting enlightened because he's "seen both sides". And the way he talks ...It sounds like he's trying to be "logical". HMM. Yeah, I'm going to say Shockwave is involved.
Hands down the best portrayal of Nemesis Prime. He has his own ideals, derived from witnessing the war from both sides, and now he's playing his own game with his own rules.

Have to admit, Nemesis makes a VERY good point. In the beginning, Megatron saw the corruption of the system with the Caste, the high class looking down on the low class and Megatron sought to change that before it led to Cybertron's downfall, but in time his goal became corrupt as he became corrupted and consumed with the lust for power and desire to rule the Universe. If he won the war, he would've become the very thing he wanted to overthrow, but FAR worse. He even went as far as to corrupt the core of his homeworld with Dark Energon. The Autobots, although their goal to bring freedom to all is admirable, they are fighting for the very system Megatron sought to overthrow and change. Bringing that very system back if the 'Bots win the war just restarts the very same lifestyle Cybertron was in during Megatron's uprising. Thus the cycle repeats itself. Nemesis was right when he said there was no heroes in the war, no side is a hero considering the end result should that side win.
Now this is was extremely impressive and very well done & intense. The acting was phenomenal and extremely impressive. And by all and all, Nemesis Prime becoming his own faction rather a deception. Huge props Johnny!.

iRobot15O6 Nemesis prime is usually portrayed as just a chaotic being that Megatron created that just happens to resemble Optimus. Seeing this version portraying him as a morally grey antagonist is a breath of fresh air.
Way to give an actual compelling and interesting perspective on Nemesis Prime. Most Nemesis Primes are just a once off enemy, or is just evil prime. Yet here he is talking about the cycle of war, violence, the illusion of freedom and the persistence of corruption. And how he's not just a Decepticon, but using them to be the victor, to end the cycle. The fact that he pauses when Jazz calls him Orion, and doesn't just kill Cliffjumper after getting Ultra Magnus' location, it sells the idea that this IS Optimus Prime, his perspective is just reversed. It's all a fresh new take on the character. My only hope is that his method of "ending the cycle" isn't just complete and total genocide of the Cybertronian race, because honestly, characters who preach about breaking the cycle and say they'll do so by killing everyone is an old trope and rather bland. I hope you have something different planned there. Oh yeah, and all this was because of a skit, but now it's evolved into a multi part series with actual character arcs and a plot. And even Megatron is back. I am seriously looking forward to this.
End the leaders and claim the Cybertronian crown for himself but not after using the cyber corrupter to change everyone's perspective to the same one so that war didn't breakout again

Agreed. It’s so foreign to see a leader who is idolized by everyone as being the ultimate hero and father figure for the better part of 30 years, so suddenly turned into a ruthless, cold-blooded, killing machine. It’s like having a beloved family member turn on you. It makes me sick to my stomach.
I don’t know if it was intentional or if I just don’t know much about optimus prime’s model, but I’ve noticed that dark prime (I forgot his name) doesn’t have an idle animation like Jazz. Jazz is like the usual model, kind of readjusting or something, but Optimus Prime just stays still. With his new red eyes, he looks cold and ferocious and his stillness makes him look like he has unshakable faith in the new dark path he is going down.
Nemesis Prime's eyes were about to become blue, which would revert him back to Optimus Prime, until Onslaught ruined the epic comeback of Optimus Prime by talking ofc

A SHOCKing twist! My heart is freaking ready to consume itself in some way, being fulfilled with mixed emotions and confusion which leads to interest. Background music choice especially at the end is just fantastic along with the voice acting and cadre changing.

Way to give an actual compelling and interesting perspective on Nemesis Prime. Most Nemesis Primes are just a once off enemy, or is just evil prime. Yet here he is talking about the cycle of war, violence, the illusion of freedom and the persistence of corruption. And how he's not just a Decepticon, but using them to be the victor, to end the cycle. The fact that he pauses when Jazz calls him Orion, and doesn't just kill Cliffjumper after getting Ultra Magnus' location, it sells the idea that this IS Optimus Prime, his perspective is just reversed.
It's all a fresh new take on the character. My only hope is that his method of "ending the cycle" isn't just complete and total genocide of the Cybertronian race, because honestly, characters who preach about breaking the cycle and say they'll do so by killing everyone is an old trope and rather bland. I hope you have something different planned there.
Oh yeah, and all this was because of a skit, but now it's evolved into a multi part series with actual character arcs and a plot. And even Megatron is back.
I am seriously looking forward to this.

End the leaders and claim the Cybertronian crown for himself but not after using the cyber corrupter to change everyone's perspective to the same one so that war didn't breakout again

megatron is a classic villain while Optimus is a non moral one
I don’t know if it was intentional or if I just don’t know much about optimus prime’s model, but I’ve noticed that dark prime (I forgot his name) doesn’t have an idle animation like Jazz. Jazz is like the usual model, kind of readjusting or something, but Optimus Prime just stays still. With his new red eyes, he looks cold and ferocious and his stillness makes him look like he has unshakable faith in the new dark path he is going down.

A SHOCKing twist! My heart is freaking ready to consume itself in some way, being fulfilled with mixed emotions and confusion which leads to interest. Background music choice especially at the end is just fantastic along with the voice acting and cadre changing.
love how this as more drama, character, dialogue, and tenet then that of any transformers movie there is showing that fans can do things betters then the studios
