- Hellcat Injector 600cc upgrade for 5.7L & 392 V8 hemi. Need more fueling in your 5.7L 345 or 6.4L 392 - The hellcat 600cc injectors are going to tap out around 660-670whp range & similar in torque. The 392 injectors will likely max out duty cycle around 450-500whp range.

If you're looking to be in the 600-650whp range, I would say the Hellcat injectors will be fine. The duty cycle is getting close to maxed at 650+whp
I tune and had a guy who had this on 07 did him no good he had sell take out ….. just started vid see you say. He also didn’t have 650 HP as in title I keep telling him but ….. at end day he had take out and sell I told him now you may prove my point

yah the Hellcat injectors will be plenty for that power level. Enjoy it man - Hellcat blower on R/T is such a cool setup.
I heard you can get the HellCat supercharger for cheap. (Used) ones Now I heard it’s not cheap to have installed though

I just installed the hellcat injectors this week and went e85 it took me and jay a few revisions but the car feels good after it’s said and done love your videos btw

So don’t you have to add more then injectors and tuning to run E85 ? And did you notice a decent power increase?

@@jasonjackson329 they are plug and play yes I’m actually making a video about the installation i did them myself so you could sub if you would like to see that but you DO require a tune for the new injectors or else the car will run extremely rich it was barely drivable until I loaded the new tune.

The 06-14 Chargers/Challengers all have unlocked PCM's out of factory - you're free to tune that Daytona when ready. Enjoy it man - those Daytona's have become so rare.

Question, should I get scat pack injectors with the hemifever tune with the 93 octane, I was told I should have changed the injectors to Scat pack ones, what do you think. I just got the tune for the Bolt ons I have. But what do you think? Happy New Year brother
Depends on how much HP you're going for. I had them at 400whp with a cammed 5.7L & stroker 397 450whp range. They did great for me.
@@RTLife right now I'm about 390 to 400 to the wheels I'm about where I want it without headers.
Theyre fine in the 600 to 650whp mark all day on pump 93 with a good pump.. on e85 naaahh max around 500whp.. at least that's what we see on my all motor builds on the E85.. good injectors for alot of things tho. I reccomend them for alot of things.
It was cool to find out the limitations of them on my build. So many thought they were good for 700+whp. Thanks man for all the help

So E85 is a no go ? On NA power , so why not just do the Demon ones ? Or are they stupid expensive?
@@jasonjackson329 on the NA builds i do they max out the hellcats.. I personally plan to just run some FIC 1050s probably while NA.. theyre designed for the fuel and not terrible on price.. but with that said.. most NA cars don't make enough power to max out the cats.. so they're fine for most.. I think a good filter set up is something that needs to be considered always with e85 as well.. help keep the injectors clean... a 6 micron is what I plan to toss in my scat very soon actually
@@OMGITSMRMACK yeah my Wife’s Scat is pretty stock for most part , she doesn’t a ton of crap , I just planned on getting it tuned best as possible and adding more fuel so it can run E85. Cause from what I’ve learned. That’s the only way to get the most power from these cars that’s mostly stock. She (we) plan on trading up soon as prices get normal on a C8 Dam prices are stupid. 60k car selling at 100k. Lol yeah no thanks. I’ll wait

I haven't heard of anyone doing it - but they should work. I would ask your tuner

Glad to see you’re still here making videos. Been a while since I’ve watched , I’ve still got my 392 charger. Have you heard of any better or newer tuning yet ? Besides box tunes like Diablo crap.
Your best bet is contacting a tuner you like & seeing what software they like tuning with.
@@RTLife yeah unfortunately I don’t ANY tuners. Lol especially on HEMI stuff. Now my Duramax. Yep got the tuner stuff locked down and running bunch of profiles. I don’t know who to even look at for HEMI stuff
Call up EFI Specialties - that guy has my R/T running like a boss. He can do email/remote tuning for you. He's located in Virgina

Have you ever had oil pressure issues with your Stroker motor? I stroked my 5.7 out to a 392 with a Melling High Performance oil Pump. But since I got the car back and broke it in, I’ve run through oil like crazy. Like half a full fill of oil in a week. That’s definitely not normal. No leaks or anything..

@@RTLife lol, mine always looks like that. I had to build a detached garage for my vehicles and keep the attached garage for all my contractor tools and material. So, you're better off than me if it's temporary.
Quick question. Can you tell me all the engine mods you have done or at least what has to be done in order to use Hellcat injectors what all do I need to change?
The hellcat injectors are a direct swap - anyone can do it with a V8 hemi. But it's not benefitical to do unless you upgrade to forced air or do some kind of upgraded camshaft or stroker kit.
Is it the same for 392 injectors in a 5.7? No cam just headers and tune
@@poorrican420 you can use them, they’re a direct swap. That being said the larger 392 injector may not result in any hp gains because your current fueling setup is likely efficient enough for the power level you’re at.
Question. Are you at EFI Specialties in Fredericksburg, VA? I noticed the background of the wall banners, shelving, and unpainted dry wall looks to be the same on a photo on their website. Just curious because I'm headed there in a month to begin my build on my 5.7 and Dave has been very responsive/helpful and I wanted to see how you felt about working with them. I've been following your build since day one and it's awesome to see how far you've come and how you're representing the 5.7's. Keep it up brother!!! Thank you!!!

Got a question…I have a 2021 Dodge Charger Scat Pack. Tuned on 93, catless mids, Corsa Extreme cat back exhaust & intake. What would you recommend the stock fuel injectors for the 392 or the hellcat ones? Currently I’m pushing 480whp.
You said they tapped out pretty quick? Does that mean there not good for a 5.7 R/T N/A build or they are?
They were only good with my setup for around 660whp. I needed larger injectors because the duty cycle on these were maxed. Without larger injectors I couldn't get more fueling to add more power

I'm currently upgrading my 2014 charger as well. In taking my time and doing my research but I'm getting stumped on what to do next. I've got my exhaust, intake and a diablo tune. I'm wanting to do long tube headers next. Do u think that's my best bet?
If I have 392 and I decide to go with Hellcat Injectors , will I have to invest in changing anything else ? Or can the stock 392 Fuel Pump etc fine ? wondering if there has to be any more work done ✅ thanks ..

Since hellcat ones tap out easy. Why not just go with the Demon ones ? And on a NA 392 , adding bigger injectors needs some tuning to actually use the extra fuel plus you’ll need extra 🔥 to 🔥 the extra fuel. Then you need more 🌬 once that’s done. Lol. So really Just need to save up and do all the stuff you did.
Glad to see you commenting again!!! I ended up going 1440 because there is likely no way I'll ever out grow them. I would like to test out Demon injectors though to see their limitations (just for research).
@@RTLife yeah 1440. Lol that’s a beefy injector. If you ever did outgrow those. You’ll probably not be Dailey driving that thing anymore and will probably have it on a trailer being brought to places. Definitely will be cool if you could get some demon ones to test. I bet they will be a perfect fit for some mild builds thats in 3 digit power range

How is the 5.7 holding up with your twin turbos we did the wife's 6.4 with Hellion twin turbo and had to rebuild it three different times once we boosted the power other things started going wrong so many things for the first year every time I started the damn thing I had to get it fixed has your build giving you any of the same problems
No complaints. But I don't really push this thing hard - just a few accelerations here & there onto the HWY. RZT did a great job building the turbo setup.

so i got a question i’m new to the car modding world and don’t have much knowledge on it. i want to replace my injectors because i feel they are going bad, i have a stock widebody 2021 charger, am i able to just upgrade my injectors no problem or do i have to get a tune and would the hellcat injectors be bettter than the scatpacks, also do you have any recommendations on throttle body’s, air intakes, spark plugs etc other than fuel injectors thank you for your time

Yes - they're a direct swap. They don't provide gains in essence. They allow you to add more fuel so the other upgrades adding more air can add hp/torque.

I would talk to your tuner about the air/fuel but most likely you'll have to upgrade to 392 injectors or larger

No. Once you upgrade the cam or add forced air - this is a solid option.

You just have to tell him to hard park, turn the spool off.. schools in session.. and he listens great! He's coming around... but remember don.. you learned the hard way yourself 😃🤣
