Good on Dweezil for doing this so faithfully and rigorously over the years.
My favorite Zappa composition.
Nice view you had, Barry. Thanks for putting this up.
Wonderful Dweezil , it's just like when you're Father was on stage , I love it , so thank U Dweezil 😅🥰👍
I can't wait to see them again. I'm tearing up over here!
Very cool - particularly the vocal break on "Echidna's Arf", the alternate version of "Don't You Ever Wash That Thing", and Schiela's last solo.
Totally INCREDIBLE show. What a privilege to have been there with you!
Thanks for sharing, missing this because Florida sucks, but I did see him here in Central Florida three times already
Wow so cool to hear the original “Don’t you ever wash…” thrown in there
Echidna. In keeping with Frank's penchant for small mammals, marsupials, and household appliances. Stellar cover!
Awesome!
Catching up on what I'm missing being stuck in England whilst Dweez and the team where rocking in America. And I DO miss him.
Fantastic! A “Cup off the Old Block”!!
Great Vocals! Crazy Zappin
Tour the states Dweezil, then catch a ferry and cross the pond. I welcome you in Holland;)
Wrong date, dude. I get to see/hear this on 4 Aug in SF! Thanks for the killer video!
Don't get told! Thanks for pointing out. Corrected.
💗🍀🌈🌞!!!
It's a shame that Schiela was mostly hidden during this performance.
Sad this tour is not making it across the 49th parallel to Canada eh? :(
Wish they'd turn the guitar up in the mix!!
He should have a guy on tuned percussion...
There is a reverence about this show.
do you have any video with Phil X?
Ugh! Sorry, I did not record 😢
Saw them 8-2 in El Cajon. They were good but off, if that makes any sense.
Please visit EU!!!!!!!!!!
Poor Scheila, obscured by the bald guy in the balcony...
Poor us !
Alright
Sounds like Zappa
Chip
I wish some of Frank's former band members would be down to do this stuff with Dweezil more often. I wonder how much money Ahmet threw at those guys for that idiotic hologram tour
Dweezil needs some lessons on STAGE PRESENCE.
to be completely fair this is like identical to zappa's own stage presence/energy, i don't know if much needs to change for those die-hard fans who want the "authentic experience"
Most challenging job on planet Earth? Drummer for this song, "Echidna's Arf/Don't You Ever Wash That Thing?"
Who am i to criticize Dweezil. The piece is extremly demanding but the flow is missing, it is quiet static. By the time the band plays in europe everything will be perfect. Don't get me wrong i'm a huge Zappa fan and i have seen senior and junior many times.
His Dad had the same problem with smaller ensembles playing live and recorded from the second level.
