I live in a senior apartment complex and many of my fellow boomers who were Zappa fans back in the day now dismiss Franks music as rubbish.Ive never been to a senior center dance that featured anything other than 50s tunes
She is a woman though. Still, I thought she had the deepest voice of any of the singers that night. We all miss hearing Frank. But, his voice is already in our heads anyway.
@@obbor4 Good point about his voice already being in our heads...Would still have liked to have heard the vocal done by a guy with a lower voice & attitude.
I was there in Chicago when Jerry opened uo for Frank. Jerry blew Frank off stage! Weird part Frank couldn't sell enought tickets. As soon as they added Jerry, tickets sold out!
Hey, thank you for this vid! Great viewpoint. Couldn't be there, I'm stuck in England missing Dweez over here.
one of Frank's most singable numbers, it goes through my head most days as there is often somebody trying to jive me with their cosmic debris.
Great job. New guy has chops. Very impressive indeed. Also nice to see Lyle Workman.
Flippin’ brilliant… and THEN Lyle turned up the Brilliant-O-Meter a bit more. Great video - thank you!
Outstanding! (as always... )
Great Father give Verygood SON 👍👍👍💚💚💚

Music is great....Hard to get used to not hearing Frank's attitude vocal, and he had "sung" it an octave lower.

I’ve never been in LA for a tour! That’s fun :) Our show on the 4th in San Francisco was pretty lit as well!

Sorry...Jerry? Garcia?
@@johnbundy2672 There's only one Jerry!
Does Dweezil ever play slide?
Sadly, poor sound quality.
