I'm thinking about getting Yorkville Elite Series - EF15P 3-inch Titanium Diaphragm Compression Drivers for Reduced Distortion at High SPL15-inch Long Excursion Cast Frame Neodymium Woofer with 3-inch Voicecoil
Great Review. Love you honestly and the fact to you cover many options with both speakers. Thank you very much. Would you be able to do an in depth review on the Yorkville LS801P?
THAT MID RANGE CLARITY IN THE YORKFIELD IS SO AWESOME!!!!!!! IM LISTENING through my Audiophile Studio set up featuring MONITOR AUDIO RS-6 TOWERS. I hear everything!!!! The JBL is great but the YORKFIELD is much much better!! the Yorkfield reminds me of how concerts sound 20 years ago!!! UMFFF!!!!!!!!
I have the JBL PRX815P, but had to replace the amp late after 1 year. Fortunately it was still under warranty. I do love the fullness of the bass on the JBL. Such a satisfying sound, but i question the longevity. If I have issues again I will be going to the Yorkville.
he has the yorkville eq'd he uses them already and the jbl's are not eq'd yet. Clarity on Jbl is far better you can bring up mid to a full sound on jbl and the head room is excellent if you clip these your doing way too much. and take all that bass out and use some subs
man that Yorkfield is where its at!!! The band sounds like they are there RIGHT THERE.. and The JBL sound like a recording of a band with the mids scoped and the highs HYPED!... The JBL is just not Natural sounding
+TOPCHOICEDJSELECT yes i play out with both of them. the yorkville have a little more head room and more continuous bass. I think because it plays a higher bass frequency. but the jbl have a deeper bass line & on the jbl you can here the difference between a low quality MP3 then the high quality song on the jbl. and the jbl limit you at 8.5 or 9 also equalizing the jbl is a little bite harder then the yorkville. that with my drive rack pa2 I'm still undecided they both give you different sounds
One thing the SRX has that will stomp all over the Yorkie is the larger format compression driver. The JBL uses a 1.5" exit compression driver with a 3" diaphragm behind it. This means it's capable of a lot more output then the 1" exit driver on the Yorkie with a 1.5" diaphragm behind it. The driver on the Yorkie is not capable of the output levels of the JBL and will have a lot more distortion when pushed.
Yorkville is better without any questions, at least they are robust, easy to repair, rugged design. the JBL is just made in china with low quality. people are following the name without understanding whats going inside that speaker, for example, the JBL uses CLASS-D for the HF driver, the YORK uses linear amplifier for the HF driver, and that is more than enough to buy the YOURK. Class-D amplifiers will never beat the Linear amplifier in HF band.
then get a good' ol JBL EON 515 set. i own a pair of them and a 1850 EON sub to go with them, and they sound wayyy clearer than the yorkies, and would buy these jbl's anytime over the yorkies
Class D tech has come a long way in the past 20 years. HF reproduction is much better than days of old and is industry standard now in the best live sound systems in the word (L'Acoustics, d&b, etc.). Sir do your research before commenting something the srx is made in mexico and plus the amps are made from crown there a big family the harman group. you add that jbl will kick yorkville ass! and plus in this video the jbl is flat you eq these things with there app they sound amazing. but you got your information wrong Jbl is not made in china. the only series thats made in china is the jrx series which sounds like shit!!
Easy, JBL kicked ass with the clarity.

Use a driverack with the srx or download the app on the laptop to control the srx and it will win everytime!

Thanks for the great review. Can you share your EQ settings for the Yorkville with the drive rack?
jbl sounds cleaner i think
Would you buy the Yorkvilles again , and it better the 12 inch

I had no issues with the yorkvilll. I sold the ps 15 and bought the pyorville ps12.
Did you prefer the ps12 over ps15 ? Do you plan on doing another video ?
@@charlesm3462 I prefer the ps12 and just have a little less base and I like the look of it and it’s smaller
What were the thoughts or issues with the EV ETX speakers? I'm considering them.
I got the jbl's havent tuned them yet but the sound great out the box.. bass os tight. . wont need subs indoors in most cases with these....

How's the jbl menu, is hard to learn?
man that Yorkfield is where its at!!! The band sounds like they are there RIGHT THERE.. and The JBL sound like a recording of a band with the mids scoped and the highs HYPED!... The JBL is just not Natural sounding
Is not just about how loud it is, the frequencies on Yorkville are not so clear, JBL it's classic for the clarity.
Hi, Did you get rid of the etx15's?
Yorkville Winner!!!
Yorkvillea are just loud that’s wat there known for block party speakers I’m a rcf guy loud clean sound and reliable
Yorkville is winner, clean
How do you tell the difference between the versions on the yorkville parsource?
+Dj Rob the old one have at White Circle stick on the top the new version have a square sticker on the top the new version The Grill do not flex a lot
at the level before it clips whats lounder ?
Im still having a hard time deciding between these two. Have you played out with the SRX? How did it perform?

Wow, thanks for the info!! This helps a lot.

The comparison between both speakers ain’t fair . He should come srx to Ef15p that has dsp and a 3” horn
the york has a 3inc

That Yorkville sounds like what the JBL should sound like, don't you think? Yorkville got this! "Please stop slapping those speakers, so annoying".
