Millie the mystical sea dog! That capture would of made my great and grandfather proud, they youse to chase jewies off the rocks back in the 50s and 60s. My father did in the 70s too. I still think he has a collection of pearls that you cut out of them?

I was about to write the same comment, I'd claim 30kg, as well.
Sweet fish. Definitely should have thrown it on ice for a while before cleaning, helps with the blood and makes cleaning easier. Could cut the fish in half. Also for big fish, quartering the fish out tuna style really helps make filleting more manageable, and you get better cut pieces of meat.
Nice fish man, what a stonker, congrats. I caught a nice one last year that went 142cm, 150cm is a magic mark though, really stoked for you.

I bet it would've been a few pounds heavier if it had been weighed sooner! I had to Google to figure this out so about 30.5 kilos. But still that thing was massive it was over 60 pounds!
