- Yo! How existentially crisis-ed is your existential crisis? Maybe you don’t even think it’s real. But here’s what I can say - 2023 is expected to be the hottest on record - and that will have effects everywhere. One place that keeps coming up in the climate discussion is Greenland. And ice here is melting at record rates. I’ve been reporting on it for years and decided to go see for myself.
But Greenland is more than just a global warming talking point at COP 28 (that’s the UN climate conference that just started yesterday). And I will show you some of that next week with a scientist William Colgan (www.instagram....) from the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland.
BUT back to the extraordinary island of Greenland - a place that draws you in and holds you with its spectacular landscapes and vibes. But what about the people who have lived there for thousands of years. I searched out someone who has been telling the world about the magnificent land and culture of the Indigenous people there - Qupanuk Olsen - AKA Q’s Greenland (plus you cats kept sending me her videos). Oh, and did I mention there will be icebergs. Lots of icebergs. And I did think that I had been avoiding my whole life.

I miss these types of series, hope you get more into doing this type of stuff! I love the depths of your narrations, though, this just hit the surface.
Beautiful video none the less. I'll check out Q's Greenland channel. Thank you.
We went to Greenland in August. It is the most beautiful place we have ever seen. Absolutely breathtaking.
Great stuff! I hope this series gets some more attention
Q is a fantastic ambassador for Greenland and Greenlanders. She's so lovely, and her videos are always informative. I would love to visit Greenland one day, but I doubt it will ever happen.
George, thank you for visiting Greenland and interviewing Q.
Hello!☀️
What a beautiful place.
Many thanks for those pictures, and have a great continuation.
❤
George and Q a collaboration I didn’t know I needed
I live in South Greenland (Qaqortoq) I love Greenland. It's so beautiful. I'm the wife of a Native Greenlander. I'm amazed at how many people don't now anything about Greenland or they pass around stories that aren't even true to start with. :)
She has a great channel on RUclips and is so informative to the rest of us, I'm Canadian, who know little about Greenland...
Great job showing the importance of Q's work. She does a incredible job educating the world on her country and culture.
Q I was soglad I found you, so great to know about Greenland, incredible videos and I love to learn about your Island, so thank you.
I found Q's Greenland shorts on here. Im glad i did. Im learning lots
We were able to get ashore at the place where all the icebergs come from because there were too many coming out. We went farther north and got ashore at Paamiut and Nuuk. Greenland is an interesting country and all the people we met were friendly and helpful. I’d love to go back for another holiday.
This is incredibly fascinating stuff. Thanks so much for covering this. Subbed for life now!
I Love learning about Greenland! Thank you for all the information you have shared with the world! It is such a beautiful country and I wanted to ask if you see the northern lights in Greenland?
maybe but its more likely in norway or iceland
Beautiful & lovely lady
It's my first time hear there are people in Greenland
The clip is very nice, the views shown are breath taking but the title suck.
Greenland's story is publically available for everyone, fortunately
Q is such an awesome ambassador for Greenland, I learned a lot from her watch her videos!
Not only is this woman telling facts about Greenland, but she is also a loving wife and mother to her family. Every day, I learn something new about Greenland, and I want to go there someday with my boyfriend.
Q and George? I'm so happy!
I would love to fish there...

We were colonized 4 HUNDRED years ago! But the biggest impact, culturally and socially, happened in the 1960s.😢
Question everyone. Including these people.
I went to Greenland last month I miss it so much
