Hey Dave. Where u plugging the Jamplug's lineout/headphone to your interface? I was using it with my I-home mini speakers. The sound wasnt that good obviously, but the feel and latency feel so much better than anyother app! I bought Amplitube when it came out. I'd love a refund. Jamup Pro is the bee's knees for amp simulating apps.
How does this compare to the irig stomp? I am still not sure on which to go for, after my standard irig has broken, (due to some serious wiring and crosstalk issues). Any advise on choosing a new interface would be much appreciated! Great videos by the way
Hey david , any way you could put up the chords played between 1:20 - 1:30 . I figured out the first 3 but that little part sounds so dreamy. Thanks if you can , all good if ya cant.
That sounded surprisingly good, although the person doing the demo had something to do with that :) I really dug the "tape echo" modelling it actually sounded warm 0_o
I think it sounds OK. No better or worse than some of the other ones I have tried (4 others). I will say this one had a really nice acoustic sound (the first acoustic sample played). I think it is always the hardware you plug into that falls short, though.
It sounded very much like Garageband when plugged directly in. It would be great if you were in a hotel room and wanted to have a bit of a jam. Like with Garage band, it sounded too noisy to use in live or recording environment.
I can't find that white positive grid plug for the headphones and guitar jack anywhere. I see they have a different device on their website that is just called Jam. Is yours discontinued or are they still selling it elsewhere?
so I had Jamup and I bought the all effects all amps bundle and I get a message with an offer for the JamupPro upgrade. However it doesnt upgrade my Jamup it just installs this Jamup Pro as a separate app and when I open Jamup Pro it doesnt have any of the pedals or amps that I have for Jamup.............help me obiwan kenobi you are my only hope!!
Contact, I had a similar problem when I bought a new IPad and downloaded the App. All I had was the basic Jamup. Try going to the store (the shopping cart icon), and click in the upper right corner, "restore purchases". It uploaded Jamup Pro and all of my previous purchases.
Hey, great video! Hoping you can help - do you need the jamup plug in order to use the JamUp Pro XT app or will other connections work just as well? I can't seem to find a jamup plug to purchase in the UK! :)
does anybody have any experience running this through garageband? is it compatible? Does it record well? I was using my iPhone 5s to record stuff using ampkit but with my new iPhone ampkit seems to be very bassy and horrible really. So I need to find another app!
the better the guitarist, the easier it is for him to make something shit sound good so i guess he is just making this app sound more awesome than the average joe could :p
I just want to know why NOBODY IN THE INTERNET talks about the OUTPUT...what comes after the plug...because if you use a guitar amp you will be very frustrated...

Sounds really good! I dug the lush clean tones the most. Also, that end was hilarious :)
Go to their site. They list a tone of interfaces that will work including iRig
How does this compare to the irig stomp? I am still not sure on which to go for, after my standard irig has broken, (due to some serious wiring and crosstalk issues). Any advise on choosing a new interface would be much appreciated! Great videos by the way

Never used a digital rig but willing to try it out but what gear do you need to use it and how do you connect or hook it all up
Is latency a problem here? I see in the video that it's ok, but what's the feeling when you play it? Tnx in advance.
That is one very cool app and interface qould you recccomend i use it as my pedals for live show or no?
Thanks for sharing. I was just looking at that same Tele!! I probably won’t sound that good though.
And I will have the same sound quality using an iPod 5? And you bought your positive grid on Amazon? Thanks for the answers :)

can you use the iRig interface but just buy this app? Awesome review as always dude =)
Will the Irig Blueboard work with this?
What an incredible app! Many thanks for the review dude!
shouldn't the pad be placed on the floor and the patches switched by kick as rude guitarman does ?? ;)
nice app and cool review, thanks for share it
Hey Dave quick question.
Very good app
I use it connected to Garageband and works perfect
Personally i like the amplitube by iRig app a bit more. I think it gives more adjustable settings
when you play normally (not recording) what do you use to output the sound, (I am not that keen on headphones)

Hey bro! Do you have this EXACTLY sound by just plugging headphones, without any external interface?
I can't find that white positive grid plug for the headphones and guitar jack anywhere. I see they have a different device on their website that is just called Jam. Is yours discontinued or are they still selling it elsewhere?
Benjamin Schiltz Vlogs i found one barely same of this, its called I rig and you can find it on allieexpress
is there any letency when using this thing?

Hi > what happened to Salut !? c'mon !
How to use this in a live situation
the better the guitarist, the easier it is for him to make something shit sound good so i guess he is just making this app sound more awesome than the average joe could :p
Do the amps and effects that you demonstrated come within the application or is there any extra purchased content? Thanks for the demo by the way.

Where can i ger this plug in?
www.positivegrid.com/jamup/
I just want to know why NOBODY IN THE INTERNET talks about the OUTPUT...what comes after the plug...because if you use a guitar amp you will be very frustrated...
Im confused. Do you have to listen to this through the iPad speakers? Because that would be not good
There's an output plug. You can see it in the video leading to his rig
haha 3:45 le son de GarageBand :) je suis assez fan
i get a lot of feedback , and muddy sound ,and sounds too low
0:50. Dem Guthrie vibes
Why do I feel like I've already seen this video..? :O
So is that a new haircut at the end of the video, or did the wife take a spray bottle to you?
Jam up is not a very good name for this . i immediatley have dirtythoughts as to where it should be JAMMED UP INTO...am i wrong Dave? :)
Jam Up makes me think it's something I don't want. Bad name.
