Mine takes the 8 quarts plus some change for the filter. You could siphon out some extra oil from underneath the filter too but I think if you do your oil change regularly enough it shouldn't cause a problem. Just check your dipstick to see if you have the right oil level.
Sorry to hear that! Did you properly drain everything? Took off the oil cap so it could drain fully? What you're describing could be too little or too much oil too... I'd check under the car for leaks, if there's nothing I'm fairly sure you put too much in there. I'd drain it again and make sure to put in exactly the factory recommended amount, models may vary wildly. Good luck!
Nice work brother, I've been taking mine in to get it changed, but after watching this I think I can tackle this no problem. Thank you 😊
How many models is it and how many liters of oil do you take together with the filter?

You forgot to unscrew the base of the oil filter there is also some old oil to be thrown away
Fair point, I think if you do it frequently enough though it shouldn't matter that much. This car I've bought used so the oil was a disaster...
I put oil I’m my d3 5?qt and befor 3qt now it’s vibrating

0w40 ? Shouldn't it be 5w30?
It really depends on where you live. Look at your car's manual if you want to be sure but this is perfect for me in SoCal.
