Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

This is a clip from "The Lawrence Welk Show". Neil Levang was the guitarist on the show. When I was a kid, my family visited my great grandmother every Saturday after dinner, and we all watched Lawrence Welk together. Great warm memories.

You should listen to the version from The Sons of The Pioneers with Vaughn Monroe singing, from the 30s or 40s

The lyrics to the song are great. Sons of the Pioneers does a good version. The Doors "Riders on the Storm" also inspired by this song.

The spiritual grandfather of Ennio Morricone’s music for the Clint Eastwood’s spaghetti westerns. My favorite version is by Johnny Cash, complete with lyrics. Johnny’s voice kills it.

Yeah I prefer the Johnny Cash version along with the outlaws version. I'm talking about the outlaws that were down in Tampa.

Many different artists have covered "Ghost Riders In The Sky ' some simply instrumentals and some with vocals and they're all good...well, most of them are good. I'm partial to the Johnny Cash version, with vocals. Roy Clark and Glen Campbell do an instrumental duet that's pretty killer. The song is a deep rabbit hole to delve into

Stan Jones wrote Ghost Riders in the Sky in 1948. It was written with lyrics. You can hear the 1948 version on RUclips, by Stan Jones, with lyrics, played in a faster tempo than some of the later covers. Burl Ives, I read, recorded the first cover of the song in 1949. There were many more, and some are really good. Great song, great reaction! Thanks, and God bless you!

This is a great song! It has been recorded by so many artists. Neil LeVang was an American musician who was best known from "The Lawrence Welk Show" playing guitar, violin & banjo. Roy Clark also does a great version of "Ghost Riders In The Sky".

Ive heard just about every version, but my fav version is on blues brothers 2000.
    Yeah. I said it, lol.
It is a production put together by people who love this song and understand how significant its role is in the history of music recording. Akryod being a nerd-of-all-trades is who i like to think is behind it...? The visuals are entertaining, and the movie itself a touch camp, but the audio is very clearly designed w reverence and passion. + john popper crushing it.
Martys is the first i heard so im partial to that, but cash and willies unique voices make them contenders for best versions IMO- point is, u really cant go wrong w this classic

Shawn, you need to react to thus song by the Sons of the Pioneers! For this one, the lyrics are everything. My father had this on a record, and he'd smoke his pipe and just listen and smile. I'd tease him about listening to his "dead horse" record, but now, I listen to it as well. Good stuff!

This song was covered by some really great guitarist's two of whom, comes to my mind, is Roy Clark and Glenn Campbell playing together. If you'd like to hear them perform this song to, I'd suggest this link. "Glenn Campbell & Roy Clark - Ghost Riders In The Sky" (by the channel: Breautube) and I thought I'd also leave another suggestion, if interested. "It Makes No Difference - The Band - The Last Waltz" (by the channel: Just A Account)
