A friend bought the same bike at Walmart Canada for less than 1k. We upgraded the forks to SR Suntour XCM with lockout. Avid BB5 disc brakes. Specialized Fast Trak tires. A new front wheel. Also got a nicer handlebar 720mm with a 60mm stem. Finally a better seatpost and saddle. Saving 10lbs off the bike. He's older, but loves riding it now on the roads and very light trails with me. It IS a great starter e-bike for the price. And yes, if you pedal in slow mode, you will get 50km on a charge.
The only way is to hold the 6km/h button. If you want to go faster, you have to pedal the bike. You can also just pedal really slowly and the bike will still do the max electric speed of whatever mode you're in. Hope this helped!
It's pretty comfortable. The seat that comes with it is pretty good quality. I help the motor a lot by basically using half the effort I usually do to bike. By doing that, you can easily get 50km range on low mode with it. Basically help the bike start moving by pedalling hard, and pedal with the motor. This will give fantastic range and also be effortless. Hopes this helps!
Yes, you have to keep pedaling in order for the motor to work. You don't have to pedal at full speed though. Just slow pedaling will make the bike speed up to whatever mode you have it on. Another option is to just hold the 5km/h button, and the bike will go walking speed with no pedaling needed. Hope this helped!
Funny review=:) I was thinking of buying this bike as well. How tall are you? Just wondering cuz it's a 29er and many of those 29er bikes are better suited for tall guys.
I have taken it through trails, and it definitely saves a lot of energy! (Don't try any big jumps with it) I haven't done any modifications, but the kickstand is kind of annoying, so you could take that off!
I wouldn't recommend modifying it, because it could void the warranty and be dangerous. But all I know is there is an esc right above the battery in the frame of the bike, and any cutting or modding with the power and speed can be done from there!
You can always try to contact them for assistance hyperbicycles.com/pages/contact or you could get a lock pick set and get it open since it is a pretty basic key lock.
29" (what he has) was 989 CAD at Walmart. I'm guessing he's also Canadian then. Looks like they lowered it to 889 recently though. (And the 26 version is $100 cheaper)
You can adjust the power modes by clicking on the button. One bar usually means mode 1 (low mode). If you're talking about the battery level on the battery itself or on the control, you might have a faulty battery. Just contact Hyper, and they might be able to help!
@@ericwood82 You can definitely modify it or switch out the ESC, but it might cause quicker wear to the bike. The ESC can be found right behind the removable battery.

Wow! That's pretty awesome!
why did you get a new front wheel? looking at buying this bike. hopefully it's big enough for 6'3"
Is there a way to ride without pedaling and just the motor does the work?

Do you like the bike so far? Is it really comfortable ? What would you advise someone who is tryna get it? What is the range like?

Do you have to pedal the bike the whole time? Can you get going and stop pedaling till it slows down then pedal again?

Love your funny entertainment review. Good job, May end up getting one :D since I'm very lazy and unfit lol.
Thank you for watching! It's definitely a great entry electric bike. Keep an eye out for another upcoming electric review 😀
Funny review=:) I was thinking of buying this bike as well. How tall are you? Just wondering cuz it's a 29er and many of those 29er bikes are better suited for tall guys.
Thanks for watching! I'm around 5'11". If you lowered the seat all the way, I'm sure it can fit someone around 5'8" and above!
Thanks for the review, actually curious about putting it together which you skipped to make room for your version of comedy I assume.
Thanks for the feedback! This was a pretty random review, but I'll be sure to include an assembly portion in a future review.
Have you taken it on the trails or done any modifications?
I have taken it through trails, and it definitely saves a lot of energy! (Don't try any big jumps with it)
I haven't done any modifications, but the kickstand is kind of annoying, so you could take that off!
Very nice
Hi. I just bought one. What handlebars did you upgrade to?
Unfortunately I didn't get to add any bar, but honestly anything wider would be an upgrade to the bike!
What’s the max capacity bc I wanna buy but it doesn’t say on the Walmart app
I actually couldn't find that either, but a safe guess would be around 250 Lbs
@@MTBADDICTION hey so I contacted them 2 weeks ago and they said it was 275
@@crxbyhu2040 That's cool to know! Thanks for letting me know!
Hallirous, best bike review I've seen
I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching🚵♂️
I am new to e bike and have one question that are these waterproof?
I wouldn't say water proof, but some reason should be fine!
Nice one ilike this brother
I have the same one it got stolen today, does it have a tracker built in it???
Unfortunatly it doesn't :( . I would invest in an airtag if you want to keep track of your bike!
The guy fighting you 💀
👍👍👍
Hey I was wondering if you still have the bike, how long have you had it, and if it's worth buying? If you had any problems with it?
Unfortunately I don't have it anymore, but I am planning on getting it back in the future! I never had any problems in the time that I had it.
Too bad this doesn't have a throttle
Right? That would have been a game changer
how can I remove speed limiter friend I already disassembled it and there are many wires and I don't know which ones
I wouldn't recommend modifying it, because it could void the warranty and be dangerous. But all I know is there is an esc right above the battery in the frame of the bike, and any cutting or modding with the power and speed can be done from there!
So I have this bike and lost the key to take out the battery if anyone can help take the battery out I’d appreciate any info

They are 598 now 29 inch tires640 with taxes.
Wow that's a great price! Is that in USD?
YES
❤️❤️❤️
Great... Nice🙏🙏🙏
how fast is it
You can reach 35 km/h easily, and if you pedal assist it, 40 and slightly above is achievable
Well you’ve paid $1000? I got to 26 inch last Christmas for $398

Where are replacement battery’s available?
I'm not sure about that, but you can definitely try contacting them on their site hyperbicycles.com
Why does my power only have 1 bar

what's the speed on the bike?
The fastest I've been is around 35 kmh before the bike was too fast for the motor to keep up
@@MTBADDICTION do you thinks the speed could be increased
@@ericwood82 You can definitely modify it or switch out the ESC, but it might cause quicker wear to the bike. The ESC can be found right behind the removable battery.

You Paid 1k it’s on Black Friday sale for 398 😂
I forgot to mention it was 1000 CAD, but even 400 USD is a great deal! Hope you got it!
Damnnn
I got so lost 😂

Is this a joke? No interesting information of the bike at all.
This bike not good, bad quality.
Really? Did you get a bad one?
@@MTBADDICTION Yes, I ride it 20 times, the motor doesn't work.
Hmm, maybe you got a bad one or the old version, cause the one I rode was super good😂
Hi ya’ll….I’ve had the 26 for a year….no issues….It hanles inclines quite well. Enjoyed the video
I have a question what charger does it take and what size is the port?
Any 36v AC to DC charger would work. I believe the port is a D3 DC port
