- Hey friends, thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed! I know I have already done this song, but I got a request to do the 1955 version, and being that I recently had surgery and didn't feel like doing anything more, I figured this would be an easy song to do. The viewer wanted to me do this song with my 64 tribute Esquire, but there's a reason why I didn't, and I'll explain in an upcoming video.

By far the best cover by anyone on the internet for Folsom prison blues 👍🙏
this is really addictive to listen to
I’ve watched this like 10 times by now. I’m not even that interested in guitar-playing but I just adore Luther Perkins and his style. You did great!
Honest sounds like the sun recoding great job man

Yes. That’s the way it’s done.
That was awesome! TY!
I've been looking for a great sound for a band and you would be perfect I listen to these and sound just like Johnny keep up the great work bud
just like the record.
this is perfect! i wish you make a remix of it for about non stop 15 minutes!
Hi, can I borrow this for a school performance?
Would you be able to do Jackson (Luther Perkins), Oney (Bob Wooton) and Rock Island Line (Luther Perkins and Bob Wooton
You are a naster of picking.I love your play.
I love your play.
Awesome job
Oh one more thing! Luther would be proud! :D
Another fine instrumental
Sehr gut 👍
Great job as always
Great job.
Perfect!
Ur vids are awesome
Please do "Rock Island Line"
I did a rework of Folsom Prison Blues called Stuck In Eldorado
Yeah baby
I loe you and your music
Okay... I like it.
Love to know what delay time you used.
That slapback really slaps.
Thanks so much for this. I always resented the way Bob Wootton jazzed up this solo. That and Jerry Hensley with his train whistle lick really made this song unlistenable to me in the late 1970s.
Could i put a tele pick up in a strat? I'm getting into hybriding guitars but still want a Luther tone. Would it work and be cheaper?
I have no idea. I don't know if the pickups are different sizes. Look it up, i'm sure someone wondered the same thing
Fallout Assassin 75 y
+Fallout Assassin 75, I'm sure it's possible! Fender has their build your own guitar or design your own guitar and you can use any Fender pickups, really.
I bet you could but the telecaster has metal surrounding the bridge pick up and that will affect the tone
I feel like Strats give more of a Bob Wootton sound.
Nice.
Do you have the backing track for this?
Robett i know so you are a master of palm muting
Love
In the original Luther only plays two strings not the three?..he added that later..
He play 3 strings 2 at time
Where'd you get that Esquire?
I ordered the parts and assembled it. It's a partscaster! I have an overview video of the guitar here: ruclips.net/video/pBP09kqJRmQ/видео.html&index=9
Do ring of fire
I know this is two years late, but here it is: ruclips.net/video/oIfI2wXzqvY/видео.html
Luther played it strange!
Why the slightly sharp tuning?
Cause thats what the original tuning is
What amp did you use?
He used a fender twin Reverb
as a German I wonder
would we ever know Cash
without Perkins????
Got to bend dem high notes.
Play some Don Rich.
