Cool build. Consider checking out Vector Springs in Spring Valley. They will slightly improve your packs arch so it allows your shock travel. Excellent service and my First Gen 4rnr has a HD 500# custom pack that rides like a Cadillac with no sag when loaded. Pricing is a third of what other packs cost. And Dever sends warranty repairs to them. Lol.
Yeah, that is Handy & Cool - Please show us what compressor you used & where you stored/mounted/wired in. Love the channel & that precious lil boy! I had one many moons ago - Now He's playing BB for AZ Dbacks (dreams can come true if u work ur a$$ off!)
luv the skid plate idea, do you have a patent on it yet if not I think I will take that idea to the shark tank show and make big stacks o cash lol I like yer vids and luv taco's and 4runners
I have a truck just like yours but mine didn't come with the roof rack. And I haven't been able to find any that fit mine. Mine doesnt have holes on the roof.
How's your front suspension holding up? I have a 2002 Tacoma 4x4 with about 168k miles, and my upper and lower ball joints are shot. Since I will have to replace them, I will replace the inner and outer tie rods too. I will use Toyota parts.
Not a bad idea! My old man emus are getting worn out. I was thinking of going with custom Alcans in 2021. I think I’ll try this out sooner and save a bunch of money.
I have a 99’ Tacoma 4wd and I’ve been wanting to put money into it but I’m lacking knowledge and I worry at 227,000 miles it won’t be worth it. Should I sell and invest in something with lower mileage or u think it’ll last a while? Haven’t had any issues with it except for a faulty pedal position sensor
If you're lacking knowledge there's no better teacher than a first-gen Tacoma. Mine has 260k on it and honestly with stuff like this if you run into a super technical issue(blown head gasket *knock on wood) you could eventually just grab a 1996-2004(im like 90%) lower mileage Taco and swap any nice suspension parts onto it.
1st gen taco is best. I just hit 255k and just replaced my throttle sensor and ds o2 sensor. Other than replacing fluids and plugs and a rear diff that died, that's literally all I've had to do in 10 years. Truck runs like a beast!
“ go look from the other side” 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Here’s me with my stock 2001 Tacoma trd v6 wishing I had a 2nd gen when I could be adding things like this to it
Seems like you have your hands full with the kid! How fun. One of my favorite rigs I follow, keep sharing please!
haha 100 truth! and thanks!
Thanks Christian! That kid is a riot!
Your da man keep them coming and thanks.
Good dad.
That’s some beautiful landscape

This video is great information but we wanna see more of this kid!! He’s just too adorable lol
I did the same thing to help straighten out the Tacoma lean
i love this guy's content. i have the same truck and always dream about doing cool shit like this!
Maybe a video of your air tank set up please
ok i should do that!

So roughly a 3in lift?
Thanks
Sweet jack!
Also air tools ftw
Yes please do another video
What cross bars are you using on the roof?
will you ever post a video on the drop down rails you used. I saw them on instagram but haven't on here.

Yo what size tires are you running? What adjustments you had to make to run those?
I have a truck just like yours but mine didn't come with the roof rack. And I haven't been able to find any that fit mine. Mine doesnt have holes on the roof.
What rack is that on the camper? I’ve been looking for one for mine.
its custom! im going to be hand making them for sale soon

Mine seems to be doing fine although i would like to make some upgrades to keep it rolling without issues for upcoming trips
Cool video! Thx
Do you remember what size tires you had at this time?
I got a 2001 tacoma and can not find any campershel for it. Any idea please where to find it. Mine is a crew cap.
Thank you
What would the benefit of this be? Just to raise the rear end? Or does it change the ride at all? I’m super new to all things taco.
How much weight can it hold now with the springs added
Hey man what pro comp aal u got?! Got the same truck as u and can't find one anywhere! Thanks!
Not a bad idea!

Lift kit that doesn’t need to swap many things after installing it. Any recommendations ?
uhmm, just a simple add a leaf will do the trick. Of course if you lift the truck a lot then you need longer shocks, not really anyway around that.
Did you have to get a longer center or U bolts?
Yes I got my center bolt from advanced auto parts and I bolts are gonna have to be longer but i also don’t know we’re to get a longer I bolt
what about the front end?
Front is bilstien 5100s with stock coils for the moment
Hi luss
Nice truck 👍
