My father was a police officer for 35 years he retired in 2000. He was a Chevy man and loved his issued 1987 Caprice Interceptor more than all the great cars he got to use at work.
I don’t remember when Ocea made all police place the siren speakers on the bumper, and we were not allowed to have the siren speakers on the bubblegum machine or in the room overhead light bars?😢
State Highway Patrols in Ohio , Michigan , Wisconsin and California : County Sheriff's in Alameda County , Oakland SF , San Diego , San Jose , San Francisco, LA ,SFPD and Florida in the South
At 3:33 on the Chicago patrol car,i can't remember what the number plate up on the lightbar that says 6730 next to the rotator signifies. What does that designate?
my best GUESS is that would be the car or unit number. For example my counties fire and police departments all use or used (some of the bigger fire departments are phasing it out for a new scheme) a 4 digit code for all units with the first two digits showing what department or station they are from and the last 2 the type and specific unit. I am a volunteer in Prospect and all our fire units start with 62xx. 6201 is our first out structural engine, 6230 is our first out medical etc.

I love seeing the lights on
I love seeing the police cars that look pretty much like the Impala from Supernatural. Those look awesome.

Pretty cool. Chicago cars are so cool with the petty blue color on them
Great video! I'd love to go to a show like that, love cop cars.

@ 1:13, how long did the Cleveland P.D. use those lime green patrol cars?
What type of tires does this car have
Your going to have to be a lot more specific as to what car you are referring to and even then I don’t pay attention to tires. Do you mean wheels?
