It’s amazing to see that even after 13 years since the last Crown Vic was built, there’s still police departments hoarding onto these cars because they just can’t get rid of them, in fact the LASD has 429 out of the 600 Crown Vic’s they bought in 2011 are still in service!

Definitely old school. Drove CVPI for years on Patrol. Things would last and run like a tank. Plenty of room..good trunk space. The 4.6 was a good running engine. Built to last. And we worked 12 hour shifts. It was great because we had take home vehicles. We kept up outside and interior of cars. And we had sporadic inspections by supervisors. Ford screwed up canceling them.

Is it me or most of the lightbars light up very dim even for halogens?

Something seams off- the graphics are from Washington DC police, they went to that graphic in 1998 and I think were the first agency to have the stupid "swoosh" police decal. So for this graphic to be on a 95 model does not seem accurate.

I'm Shocked it's still in service it's probably the very Last First gen Aero Crown Vic in service, most Crown Vics in service today are the 98-11 models, however its day will soon be numbered as more and more police departments Replace them with SUV's

I'm glad you're traveling across America to document the last Crown Vics that are still in service, sooner or later the last one will retire and soon they'll be no more left on the road

Man the wiring on that thing is failing a little bit. Rear deck red isn't working and partway through the red grille light started not acting right and cutting out.
