    My word… the iPhone 13 Pro Max is flexing like crazy when it comes to battery life. Since owning this thing I’ve never had to worry about charging it with my usage habits (& I’m a heavy user)!

    • @supaahflyy
      @supaahflyy 2 года назад +37

      I'm a pixel 4xl user and it's notorious for bad battery life but seeing the iPhone 13 pro max blew my mind how good battery life is. I waited for the pixel 6 pro enthusiastically after hearing a massive 5000mah cell which I couldn't believe Google finally decided not to skimp on hardware.
      Unfortunately the efficiency with a first generation processor isn't there just yet. So I held off on upgrading. I'll keep charging my 4XL 2-3 times a day until next year 😂

    • @MrSamPhoenix
      @MrSamPhoenix 2 года назад +24

      @@supaahflyy whoa, you have to charge several times a day? Even with my “older” iPhone 12 Pro Max I was getting decent Battery Life, only having to charge maybe twice a day.
      But with this iPhone 13 Pro Max, I have to try very hard to drain the battery. I maybe was able to get close on a constant 12 hour usage day when I got it down to 11% from 100%.
      But yeah, I guess the other guys will have to work on their SOC designs for better efficiency. It’s not enough to make these things fast, but the phones also have to sip power while being fast.

      it's also flexing it's price tag like crazy.
      my wife got the 13 pro max which is almost the double the price of my Pixel 6.
      The Battery performance seems similar on both phones. Even though I'm more heavy user than her, we get about 55-60% at the end of the day. plus she has the brightness way down.
      Pixel 6 is definitely the bang for your buck phone 2021.

    I have both a Pixel and a iPhone and well this comparison is a bit unfair. The AOD were left on, on the 6 and 6 pro which will drain the battery faster on standby. The P6 and P6Pro are limited to 22W charging, not the advertised 30W plus all the pixels have adaptive charging. Finally the Pixels have adaptive battery which give them better battery life in time. So yes the iPhone *won* per say but the Pixels are not as bad as presented.

    What's important for a mobile phone for me is that you can use it the whole day without worrying about battery life. At the end of the day, at home, that's the time I charge it, and not charge it in the middle of the day. Fast charging is good, but not for me. It charges your phone fast, but it deteriorates your battery also faster. Not good if you keep your phone like 3 to 4 years.

      People fail to understand that Pixel has AI built-in that optimizes battery and charging based on patterns of use. The battery gets better as you use the Pixel for a few weeks. Many of these reviewers are just taking it out of the box and immediately doing battery life tests. It's also being compared to phones that are double the price. The vast majority of Pixel users are getting 8 hours of SOT from everyday use which includes being connected to a cell network, unlike many battery tests on RUclips which only consider ideal conditions with no sim. Pixel 6 is absolutely an all-day phone and actually outperforms that normal iPhone 13 in many battery tests on RUclips.

  • @luketechgraphics187

    Now if you're doing a test of this is just my opinion. Opinions may differ. If you have 5G on the iPhone 13 would not last that long. Maybe I would say 6 hours at the most. A pixel 6 and 6 pro only lasts between 4 to 5 hours at a time depending what you're doing. That's just my opinion now. If you're just doing all on like Wi-Fi or something that's still pretty good for the pixel 6. I have the six because I chose it over the pro because right now I'm still doing tests between the 6th and 6 pro which one does last longer and so far the pixel 6 is dominating when it comes to battery life. At the end of the day I have a half a battery and the pencil 6 pro ends up dying by the time I get off work but I'm saying the pixel 6. That's probably why they're making the pixel 7. They're not making a pro because the tension chip can't even run with the pros. My dad has the iPhone 13. He said he loves it. He only has to charge it every 3 days and it's he's a trucker so he uses Verizon and he said it works phenomenal this year when it comes to battery life. I'm going to give it to the iPhone 13 because it is one of the best phones out there on the market even though it's over price but the pixel 6 is pretty decent as well

    The 13 Pro Max is truly impressive.
    Even if the majority of the time it is between 10 - 90 hertz and that its screen is between Qwhd and FHD.
    This is not a criticism, it's just that on this point I really agree with Apple for once, the difference between 120 hertz / Qwhd and 90 hertz and between Qwhd - FHD is almost imperceptible to 95% of people.
    On the other hand, the difference in energy consumption is very visible.
