    Great video! I have hair in the same places, but I'm a red-head by nature, so thankfully it's softer and more blond-ish. I still have to shave, and this might be something to put on my wish list. Thanks!!

      Definitely something worth trying! I'm not sure how well it will work for you as they specify that it really works on dark hairs but heck these a 90-day money back guarantee.

    The video was extremely informative! Thank you so much!
    Just want to ask few questions:
    1. Do we need to use any cream after using the device? Like moisturizer or anything else?
    As I heard after laser you don't use any chemicals for 24 hours, so is it same with IPL as well?
    2. Does it help to reduce pigmentation problem? Or should I not use it over pigmented area?

    • @ThickGirlzGuide
      @ThickGirlzGuide  19 часов назад

      You can use a moisturizer after using the IPL. And it doesn't say that it helps with any kind of pigmentation issues. I think I remember the directions saying not to use it over very sensitive areas such as areas with pigmentation issues and tattooed skin.

    I felt a slight tingle when I went over my leg tattoo.

      I didn't go over any of my tattoos with it but also I don't have hair on my forearm or foot so... lol

    So I like to pluck my chin hairs, however, when I started treatment I started shaving. But I still feel some stubble in between days, I’m in week 3, I want to pluck but I don’t want to regress the process. Do you think I could pluck after week 4?

    • @ThickGirlzGuide
      @ThickGirlzGuide  6 дней назад

      That is about the time I decided to pluck and see what happened and saw the decrease in how fast it was growing back and the decrease in hairs as well.

    What power level did you do over the course of the 4 weeks? And How many zaps to each area did you do? I'm contemplating getting one.

    • @ThickGirlzGuide
      @ThickGirlzGuide  Месяц назад +2

      I did the first level on my face since that is what was recommended. Started out with one zap in each area then bumped it up to 2 in the areas where I had the most hairs coming in. I did it about every other day as well.

      Surprisingly no, even when I use it on the stronger setting there is still no pain.

      Not really to be honest, but I haven't been consistent with using it. Last week I pulled it out of the drawer, so I remember to use it. I've gotten so busy the last couple months that I just forget to do it.

    Do you pluck or shave in between treatments???

    • @ThickGirlzGuide
      @ThickGirlzGuide  27 дней назад

      I shave because it says the hair needs to be in the follicle in order for it to work. I was a bit complicated at first when I read through everything but once you start it's easy.

    Laser hair removal isn’t pain free. It’s actually extremely painful even after applying numbing cream is still painful.

    • @ThickGirlzGuide
      @ThickGirlzGuide  Месяц назад

      Good to know! That's what I assumed, and you have to have like 6+ sessions before seeing results, from what I hear.

    • @cocoloco8922

      You won’t regret it… it’s the easiest thing to use. I do leave mine out otherwise I wouldn’t use it as often. Maybe I should have read the directions, but I did my chin, stash, sideburns and underarms on high from day one. Always on high mode. Was totally pain free, super fast, and easy. After 4 weeks 95% gone is accurate. I have pale skin dark stubborn hair. I have PCOS so I was super hairy. I still have a little shadow on my mustache but the hair no longer grows. My friend said that will eventually lessen with time. Fingers crossed. 🤞 good luck. Stick with it. It will be worth it in the end!
