Archaludon ex finally makes Adaman a useful supporter! Need to run a higher count of energy but with an early Adaman discarding two energy and getting 2 cards from your deck you can almost guarantee a turn 2 attack with 3 energy attached.
yeah, its like a one time metang that assured to hit and has more HP and damage, although you give 2 prizes, it has even more hp than dialga, so it can work as a secondary attacker. On the other hand, it fixes dialga's problem: too many energies in the discard pile (and not finding any rod), or too many energies in hand. You can research a hand full of energies with no worries cause you can instantly attach them with arcaludon
If thorns stays as a meta deck after that finals, i can see megaton blower being a nice way to counter it, you get rid of lost city, booster capsule and double turbo, hitting at least 2 cards among energies, tools and stadium seems like a good trade
Flygon to do damage and switch out into Glimmora ex so my opponent only has 3 bench slots seems pretty good imo. Fighting type has been so bad for so long that glimmora ex has been irrelevant but with 8 bench spaces from stellar crown it’ll be good
Counter Gain could work with Kyurem: if the opponent has Colress's Tenacity in the discard pile, Kyurem's attack cost 1 colorless energy, but with the tool you could do it for free without discarding any energy. It is a bit situational, but still an option
The Megaton Blower would be good against quad thorns. It’ll help get rid future booster capsule and their double turbo energies and/or legacy energy if they use that acespec
Watched the TCG Livestream and I have to say that Iron Thorns deck did not deserve the win. That Miraidon deck was 13-0 up until that point which was outstanding!! Finally Archalodon gets an EX!!!!!!!! ALSO QUESTION, If a Flygon EX has a max belt attached will it then do 150 to all opponents EX's and V's??!

iron thorns has been in the game for years, it was called path to the peak. the deck just preyed on the ability centric meta which rose since path rotated
There are already counters, people just aren't playing them. Path to the peak existed in the format for quite some time, granted, yes, it was a stadium so it could be bumped with a stadium or vacuum (and sometimes an attack).

That is only done in private not in public. The reality is that judges were so degraded and gave Ian game loss due to gesture Ian did and gave the winning to Fernando. The reality is that Ian blew it and because of Ian blowing it Fernando won even though Ian beat Fernando. So the reality is that Fernando won because of Ian. Fernando defeated Jesse in top 4 very clean. It was a real, amazing, and entertaining match but the truth is that Jesse lost. You cannot change that no matter how bs you argue. And then Fernando won worlds and this is also a deserved match because he won fair and square and you can't also deny that. No matter how much you cry no matter how much you wanted Ian and Jesse battle each other. Im sorry but that was not the reality folks. Duraludon honestly seems like it would be strongest as a support pokemon and an attacker in the Dialga Vstar deck

Luckily counter gain only removes a colorless from attack costs. Kyurem is 2 water, 2 metal, and a colorless.
